We have purchased from them for years and have never been disappointed. Today we were looking for a mattress for our daughter’s room for when she visits. Tom took the time to explain the different mattresses in our price range and which ones were more available/in stock. We appreciated their professionalism and honesty.

We purchased a sectional sofa but was told it would be eight weeks before we would see it. We were told that 1/2 of the sectional was in stock the other half would have to be ordered out. So what happened to the other half? The sales person was very helpful polite friendly and knowledgeable. This is no reflection on him at all.

Initially went to HOM and my husband and I were not acknowledged or welcomed by anyone there. We headed over to Slumberland where Tom greeted us and proceeded to give the best customer service, resulting in the greatest customer experience. He educated us and gave us options in different price ranges. We ended up not only buying a couch, which is what we were looking for, but we also purchased an accent chair.

Was unable to fulfill our request for a loveseat without several months delay. However, we chose 2 Laz-y-Boy recliners that were on sale and extremely comfortable. Delivery set for 3 weeks, earlier but had a prior commitment. Ron was easy to work with us.

Worst quality piece of furniture I have ever bought. I have never been so unhappy with a sofa in my life. I am not new to Slumberland--I have bought there often over the years. Never again. I had issues with being promised certain things at purchase (free inside delivery), then when it was to be delivered, I was told I needed to pay extra to have it brought in the house. This was resolved, but I am treated in a very cool manner by the salesperson and owner every time I have an encounter. Cushions have a 10 year warranty and have been replaced once but need to be replaced again. The fabric started pilling terribly almost immediately--I was told to buy a fabric shaver (which I did--and use often, but it doesnt do the trick. Also, really? I need to shave the pills off the fabric of my $2000 couch?) I am currently using my old Ikea cushions and bath towels stuffed into my Slumberland cushion covers. I cant wait for enough time to pass so that I can justify going somewhere else to buy a decent sofa. I tell everyone I can to go somewhere else; and not to fall for the Im your best friend as long as you buy something and dont expect us to stand behind it. I hate to even give ONE star. Nothing star-like happening at Rochester Slumberland.

We were in town for Dr appointments and had a lot of down time. Went shopping looking for counter stools as we had just remodeled our kitchen. Walked into Slumberland after going to a few other stores and there they were. Plus they were on sale for less than half the original price. To buy something over 3hours away from home made us nervous. We left snd after our appointments were done, we stopped on our way out of town. They were still there so we decided to buy them. When they rung up the sale, they were marked down even more for Memorial Day. They look perfect in our kitchen and we couldn’t be happier.

Needed a box spring and mattress for my sons bedroom so we stopped in to see what was available. Found exactly what we were looking for and the entire process took less than 20 minutes from walking through the door, trying out the several options, checking out and loading up and we were on our way home. Employees were super helpful and we will definitely be back soon for some more home furnishings and bedroom sets. They also carry my favorite pillows My Pillow so they got that going for them, which is nice!

He didn’t push me towards bigger/pricier pieces and had a wide range of knowledge on their furniture and was happy to look up anything extra for me! Slumberland had great prices and even their pieces that were on back order would have been delivered sooner, and cheaper, than what other places quoted me.

I bought a rocker recliner, I love it, and I also bought a new bed, its going to be delivered on Wednesday. I hope its going to be good. My sales guy was great, he asked if I had any questions and then left me to try out the recliners. I found one, and I picked it up that day. I slept in my chair last night. Very comfortable

Worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. Delivery date moved back 5 times, even though they promised I would have it before my baby was due. Finally 4 months after ordering they come to deliver part of the couch and the ottoman (full couch still wasnt in) and the ottoman is the wrong color and they cant fit the chaise through our standard size doorway. Delivery people said that it happens all the time yet I was never told when purchasing this in store I would need a double door entrance to get this couch. I will never buy from Slumberland again and definitely do not recommend them after one thing after another went wrong.

Tom was very helpful in telling us about the recliners and making us aware of the reliability of the motor in the electrically driven chairs.He was not there when I came back to order so someone else helped me place the order. I was given plenty of time to search for an appropriate color. It will take 10 weeks to get the two chairs but we will be in our new townhouse by then and eager to relax and watch TV in our comfortable chairs.

Very positive black friday shopping experience. The small but growing group of customers were greeted at the door upon opening by the few staff that was scheduled, very helpful and patient yet trying hard to help everyone coming through their door.

I had a complaint. The manager reached out to me personally and helped me solve the issue, he was very nice and professional . I appreciate the contact from the business, made me feel like they value me as a customer. My items arrived and they are just as nice as they were in the store. I also like the fact you can shop without being bothered with sale pitches. The sales associates let you shop and you find them with questions, versus them following you and hounded you to purchase something. Which for me and my family is more comfortable setting. I will go back and shop again.

I was just in the browsing stage for a recliner. The staff was friendly and available but NOT pushy. My husband and l were able to look at and test all the chairs comfortably at our leisure without being bugged. Well go back!
