I love this place. They have such a great selection from all over the world of different kinds of beers, but they also have a lot of local beers here in New York and some local breweries. Their prices are pretty good and comparable to other places and they have stuff you may not find anywhere else. The staff is usually very nice and of course who can forget the clearance section. Highly recommend

Great beer selections of local micros and others from around the US. Theres an area dedicated to beers from other countries. You can buy individual bottles or a pack of anything. This is a great way to taste a flight of an individual style, or of a particular microbrewery.They also have home brewing supplies and winemaking supplies, bottles, yeast, etc.

Very nice place with an absolutely huge selection! As the same suggests, Beers of the World has a near limitless selection of beers from all accross the globe and many niche beers from across the country! The prices are a little higher than normal, probably due to the amount of overhead and shipping they need for playing host to all of the beer they have. Other than the slightly higher price (~ 10% higher prices) it is an amazing store!

Beers are categorized by country and then for domestic they are categorized by state. You can buy single pints too. Macro brews available also.

Always fun to walk the aisles looking for something new to try. Love the ability to buy singles of almost everything before committing to purchasing whole 6 pack or more.

Houses in an Wegmans building, there is plenty of parking. Once inside, you get a superior selwction of ..... You guessed it: BEER! There is an large cooler for many brands, but also beer grouped by nation of origin or by brewery. I have never ordered a keg, but they got them! A must go place!

Had ordered 2 kegs for my wedding, had spoken with them on two occasions with all the info they needed, yet my order doesnt exist the day before the wedding. All we got was excuses for why the beer I had ordered wasnt there. They finally landed on the excuse that blamed me for not confirming information I had already given them. At no point did we get an apology for what had happened, so Ill be getting my beer elsewhere from now on.

I really enjoy the selection. Ive gone there for years, and will continue to do so, but make sure you check the expiration date on the beers. I bought 4 bottles of a beer for $7 a piece and it was expired for 11 months. Since I didnt keep the receipt Im SOL, which is fine. I know the rules. But Im checking the dates from now on.

If you dont want to buy a six/four pack, you can get individual bottles/cans to try out for yr fancy.The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. If you want to MAKE yr own beer, you can ask yr questions & the staff will help you out. Parking is always free. There is a VERY WIDE selection of beer, hard cider & glassware to let you enjoy yr selection.Prices can be expensive, but then again...it depends on where it comes from, too. You can usually get away w/ spending under $30 for 8 individual beers/ciders. Or, if you choose, you can get cases, 12,6 or baby kegs. They also do full, 1/2, 1/4 kegs, but those cost a little more than a case... I try to get there as often as I can, the selection changes from time to time.

I called them on Thursday afternoon and ordered a gift basket as a birthday gift, I ask if it would be ready Saturday by noon and was assured it would be. At 3:30 I stopped in on the way to the party to pick it up. They did not make it. They had my name and phone number and never bothered to call me and tell me that it was not done. The order was taped up at the register with all my information. To add insult to injury when I explained it was to be a birthday gift and I was on the way to the party the staff couldnt have cared less, just shrugged and said sorry, never offered to assist me in any way. Horrible group of people.Update 2/4/18: The person who was supposed to have made the basket called me this morning, apologized and took full responsibility for not making the basket or contacting me. She offered to make it up to me by making me a basket free of charge. I appreciate her calling me to apologize and the offer to make things right, however the in-store staff not so much.

Visited this store for the first time yesterday. I was very impressed with the amount of beer they had. The name is fitting. You can find beer from almost every major beer loving country here. They also have a great selection of American craft beer. I was able to make a six pack of different beer from almost any beer in the store. Yes, the prices are slightly higher than Walmart or Wegmans, but its worth. You cant find the beer I bought most places, and you most definitely wouldnt be able to make a custom six pack with them. The employees are also very helpful. Most notably the women working the cash register. I will definitely visit again in the future.

The only problem I ever have coming to this place is not spending all my money on the vast and selections of excellent beers. Theyve got beers from all over and let you buy beer by the bottle instead of only by 6 packs. Stop shopping where ever else youre getting beer from and go here.

I have been a fairly regular customer at Beers of the World for almost 15 years now. They used to be the only store in the area with a large selection of import and domestic craft brews. Since then a few other places have sprung up, though BOTW is still the largest and has the most shelf space of all the local beer stores. Despite its size and their amount of shelf space, I feel as though BOTW has not done the best job in keeping up with the burgeoning craft beer scene. They could really offer a lot more and better beers than they do. Instead they seem to focus mostly on mediocre beers from mostly average craft breweries that are relatively easy to find. Youre not going to find the really sought after beers and hot new releases that places such as Nathanials Corner Store in the city, and Steamers Basin Trading Company in Bushnells Basin carry. These stores are vastly smaller, yet they focus on carrying some the best beers that are distributed in the area.

So many choices! Ahh! You could spend a day in here....
