Excellent selection, classics, art and history books, fiction and non-fiction alike. Fair prices and friendly, they moved to a new location recently and the shop is gorgeous. Definitely a must visit for any book worm!

I’m always looking for cookbooks and had heard that Silver Lake Books had moved from it’s previous location to a bigger location near where I work, so I thought I would go take a look. The selection was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable (I found a couple excellent cookbooks that are sadly not commonly found in print anymore). The owner was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service as well as an enjoyable conversation! Only the bottom floor is currently done (as of 07/21/2021), but when the top floor is done the selection is supposed to expand even more. If you are looking for a great bookstore to wander the aisles searching for a new read (or several), this is where you want to go!

Dude is a scam. I tried selling him a book that goes for $579 on Amazon. He showed me some weird website that didnt even have a verified picture of the book, or a seller. The reviews on here are probably a set up. Dont go here, and avoid at all costs. It is a total con.

I love this place! The owners are so very friendly, knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to recommend or search for a book they dont have currently on their shelves. Theyre always getting new titles in. I highly recommending checking SLB out and supporting this local gem!

Wonderful bookstore - great selection of new and used books. The shop was well organized and the proprietor was helpful, unobtrusive but also a good conversationalist!
