Stopped in for the first time today for a couple cigars. I had heard about this place, and wanted to try a couple cigars. Im somewhat new to the cigar world, I explained that. The guy asked me 2 questions about my flavor preferences, and I left with his first 2 suggestions. Im about halfway through the first one, and it is one of the best cigars Ive tried. Will definitely be back again soon!

Gary was extremely helpful and friendly in helping me select an assortment of cigars as a Christmas gift. Have had a couple of their sticks before and been very pleased. Will definitely return and hope to enjoy one in their lounge at some point as well.

Hand Rolled Cigars on site..this is amazing!

Cigars are all handmade, so no box brands. Plenty of selection and staff was knowledgeable. Prices were fair. Only drawback is that I was hoping theyd have a soda or juice selection to enjoy with the good smoke.

My husband and I just came in for the first time and met Gary. I’m (personally) not a big cigar person, but my husband is. I asked a bunch of rookie questions and learned more about cigars in the 5 minute conversation with Gary than in all the YouTube videos I’ve watched trying to understand the art. Gary gave incredible recommendations and my husband says “oh, this ones really good” (so the cigars are, clearly, really good). We’ll be back!

This place is amazing! They hand roll cigars right in front of you! They dont have name brand cigars but you can find something that your palate will like. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Again GREAT place for cigars.

They hand roll their own cigars, and it’s going to taste better then anything you can order on line. The selection is amazing they have a cigar for every hour of the day. AWESOME master artisan hand-rolled cigars in a full variety of smoking parameters. Knowledgeable staff. Patrons smoking lounge. A Rochester favorite in a new location in the upscale East Avenue area. A great place to bring City visitors especially from International locations.

They make their own cigars, you can watch their roller work good craft while there, its truly an art form. I smoke a lot of cigars, but these are some of the best in the business. If you like cigars, you should check them out. The owners and workers are extremely helpful and friendly.

While on a business trip I visited the shop looking for the usual brands of hand rolled cigars. Instead this was like striking gold. They make a great selection of their own cigars in a variety of blends. If you know cigars or want to learn, its a great place to visit. I try to stop in whenever Im in town.

I decided to stop at Santiago Cigar Factory while in Rochester on a business trip and it was a great experience. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted and offered assitance. Being fairly new to the world of cigars it is often intimidating to walk into a cigar shop, but that was not the case here whatsoever. I felt extremely welcomed and comfortable. The associate was friendly, patient and accepting, and asked questions in order to send me off with the best cigar, and I have to say I was more than happy with his recommendation. I will be stopping here again on my way home to stock up, and if I find myself in Rochester in the future, I will return again.

Great service. some friends and I stopped by before a show at Anthology and had a great conversation with the clerk. we bought a couple of cigars and were offered drinks for free while we chatted in the lounge area.

Not a bad place to have a smoke. Cozy seating area upstairs and they only sell their own brand but they were good. Service was very good and offer an espresso which I glady accepted for a nominal cost. I would go back if in the area.

Purchased 5 cigars and only 1 of them was smokeable. The overall build of the cigars is poor and the flavor is average tobacco at best. You’re better off going to another lounge that has a variety other than their own.

I took some friends here this past weekend for part of a bachelor party. This place was amazing, the cigars were fantastic, brought some home, and the employee ( I think Lewis) was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. If you are looking for great handmade cigars look no further. I will definitely be ordering and visiting again next time I am in Rochester.

In Rochester, if you need cigar(s), there is no other place to go ! Price is unbeatable, service is good also. Hand rolled right in the shop, and many different flavors. I have been to almost every cigar shop in Rochester area, this place has them beat price wise.Do yourself a favor and stop in and try one.

Very good cigar experience. This isnt a main stream cigar shop. They roll there own cigars either in shop or in the shop outside the USA. Very good cigars and knowledgeable owner/operator for the cigar shop. Would highly recommend to any cigar smoker rather new or a pro.

I walked in not having a CLUE about cigars. Was looking for a gift, they took time to explain everything to me, and even gave me a tutorial on how to set up the humidor that I had previously purchased. Super friendly and informative. Will definitely return!

All hand rolled, fresh, and great variety. The guy running the place KNOWS his cigars, too. Makes it easy to buy and try. Dont let the decor fool you -- he also serves a proper drink or coffee. And theyll leave you alone if you just want to sit, read and smoke. I was visiting Rochester from out of town, but plan to make trips back or buy on line! Well worth it.PS if you bum out at what government taxes and red tape do to small biz owners, then make an extra effort to visit this guy!
