Good customer service. No pushy salesman

Weve purchased several mattresses at City Mattress over the years. The service is consistently excellent, not overbearing, and the inventory provides an ideal range of options. Their most popular brand is made in Buffalo, too, which is a big plus.

BUYERS BEWARE: I was eyeing a $1,999 City Mattress Yellowstone Parks Collection king mattress at this location and was waiting for a sale, taking a photo of the tag to remember the details. About a week after stopping into the store, I was excited to get an email promoting their 56th anniversary with sales up to 56% off select mattresses. I was shocked, angered and disappointed to go on their website to see this mattress marked up nearly $500 to then be put on sale for the EXACT SAME PRICE. This sales practice is completely deceptive, even for a mattress company.

Loved our experience at City Mattress! As a young person purchasing a Real Mattress for the first time I was very concerned about cost, but our saleswoman was able to help us find a perfect mattress within our budget. I have been sleeping soundly since making my purchase at City Mattress, and I plan to come back again!

I was also thrilled with your white glove delivery team; they were knowledgeable and efficient with the setup, and quite courteous. My bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Sales staff (Greg) was great. No high pressure tactics etc felt like he was just trying to find us the best option. Very patient and had some good suggestions/explanations for different technologies/materials. Didnt try to haggle but still saved some money vs online of the same brand/model.Appreciate the 90 day comfort guarantee (bring back for store credit if not comfortable).Good selection (innerspring, memory foam, hybrid, etc) and nice clean/modern decor in the store.

Josh was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me several options and explained each one thoroughly. The delivery men were very nice and respectful as they brought the new set upstairs and removed the old one. I highly recommend this store.

Shopping there was a very pleasant experience and were very happy with the mattress we bought last week. We got the Lo Pro foundation which is too low for us and which we plan to exchange. This will be an additional delivery fee of $100 so be sure you order the correct foundation for the height you want.

Chuck Lamb was were knowledgable and informative in order for me to make the right decision. The delivery went according to plan after I got the split supports for my bed. The mattress, covers, bed frame, pillow and sheets all are a great combination for my perfect sleep.

Tania made the process of buying a mattress so easy! When I came in and told her what I was looking for she brought me right to it. She didnt try to over sell and was honest. She advised to review my options before jumping into buying something and she was helpful via email when I thought of any questions. Chuck Lamb is one of the best salespersons ever! I dreaded the experience of buying a new mattress. But Chuck was very easy to work with, took his time with me, showed me a range of options, was careful to listen. I looked on-line to get an idea of what to look for in a mattress so I was somewhat prepared ahead of time.

Very clean store. Over 80 mattresses there on display. Manager Mike was very friendly, funny and not at all pushy. Refreshing to be able to look around without someone hovering over you. Very knowledgeable staff.

We had a great experience at this store thanks to Joe Barone. This was after visiting several other name mattress stores where it was definitely not the case. Joe was friendly, knowledgable, funny, and most of all...not pushy. As such, we ended up buying mattresses from him. I understand that he is usually at the Penfield location.

The store experience was fine but delivery was a nightmare! They called the morning of delivery - not the day before - to tell me they would be at my house between 8:30 and 10:30.I said I had a bed coming from Bassett between 9:30-12:30 so could we delay delivery by a few hours? No, the caller said, have the guys from Bassett put the bed together for you. The mattress and foundation were delivered with minimum effort: dumped in the hall. I had to remove and dispose of packing material. The men from Bassett showed up, assembled the bed, removed all of their packing material like true professionals . Save yourself the trouble and just buy from Bassett. They know how to treat customers.

I just went here today to look at some mattresses. I spent over 3 hours looking online for a mattress and gave up and decided to go here.Glad I did go here because Tonia who was helping me was very nice and helpful. I think I will be buying a Serta mattress from there. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking for a mattress
