Great selection of area specific equipment. Good prices. Trying to get an employee to acknowledge your presence, even if not busy, is difficult. Weve walked out without purchases twice due to this.

Its ok at best...give you less than avg price up front when selling items...if you are prepared to wait for item to sell( like who is willing to sell old equipment can actually wait) you can get close to worth. And used prices are way to high..Almost like if Rent a Center or Fingerhut ran a pawn shop..

This place is great! We went in to buy a new treadmill and spoke with John. He was super knowledgeable and just amazing to talk with. He gave us a great deal on a treadmill that wasnt on the floor but in stock in the back. He took us to his office and printed out a price code for us to bring back later that weekend to show staff when he wasnt going to be there. We will definitely check in with the Play it again Sports team first when it comes to purchasing in the future. Thank you!

They dont give you much for your used items (even if their new).

Disappointing experience. Sold my wife a xcountry ski package that wasn’t even close to the correct size ski. Seemed to sell it to just to sell her something and make money. Poor customer service all around.

Play it again Sports lost my business and many others in Rochester. My husband experienced awful customer service, he wasn’t allowed in the store while a customer was leaving store; she even tried to hold the door for him. The Customer care worker grabbed the door and only spoke through a small opening at the door AND then the customer care worker lied about not having equipment he was inquiring about. I called the store and I was told yes they have the equipment and in different sizes; what did I need. I explained my sheer disappointment in the customer care worker who basically refused my husband service. Let me be clear, yes my husband was wearing a mask. No it wasn’t close to closing, it was 2pm in the afternoon. I am extremely offended by this behavior!

Service was good. Took snowboard here and the guys working were knowledgeable and I believe I spoke to one of the owners John about daymaker snowboards. They do tune ups on boards for $30 which seemed reasonable. Will be getting my board back Thursday and heading to the mountain the week after. Will update if they do a good job!

Great place for new/used sports gear for good price. Bought some used soccer cleats and the soles ended up cracking after first use. They let me return and exchange no problem, staff was very friendly and helpful!

I traded in a pair of hockey skates for a new set. The store manager/owner himself worked with me (I think his name was John). He was knowledgeable, asked good questions, and ensured I selected the right product. Finally, his trade-in offer was very fair. It was a great buying experience!

This guys a crook they offered me 25-30$ for 4x 35lb Olympic plates and had the audacity To tell me I gota make at least a little money on them. He sells used 35lb plats for 30-35$ a pop I don’t know where he’s from but 450% return is not only insulting but robbery stay away from this place

Ive been going here for many years, even back when it was in Webster, and have had nothing but great experiences. Staff has been overly friendly and knowledgeable. Ive sold items on consignment as well as bought new and used equipment.

The staff have no clue about ice skating. They do provide good hockey section. But those who are there ice skating are not good idea to go. Staff not great communicating, the interior pf the building is to crowded. I find disgusting that ice skating section does have rip shoes and yellow stain on laces.

Do not waste your time...Terrible customer service on the phone and also terrible customer service in person at the store. I stopped going here because of their terrible service over ten years ago and now I have relearned the lesson as an adult. These stores have been dwindling in numbers in the past years and there is a very good reason why.... You are actually better off using craigslist, I know it sounds crazy, but it is true.

Customer service is terrible in person and in the phone. I bought a pair of new pair of cleats (which were off brand) which were overpriced for the quality. These cleats broke after a day or two of use.
