Read this review, then read the review from Paul Goldstein below. His review discusses the same issues we have had. My parents used Lincare for a long time with great service for their cpap and oxygen supplies. When we needed cpap supplies, Lincare was our first choice based on their experience. THE SERVICE WEVE RECEIVED FROM ROCHESTER LINCARE IS TERRIBLE. No local support!! They dont return calls. They dont have staff to help with _immediate_ problems (equipment failure--they cant fix it without an appointment). The supplies you receive arent what you ordered. Lincares service in Rochester has gone to hell. Actually, its not even that good. Were switching providers today. Go somewhere else--dont bother with Lincare. Dont jeapordize your health!!
Called and talked today to Jenn about supplies need for medical equipment . Great customer service. Answers all my questions and gave great ideas. Look forward to continuing to work with Lincare and Jenn.
If you’re on Medicare, you need to know that changing a medical supplier can sometimes be complicated. Without going into the details and simply stated, try to chose your medical supplier carefully. Don’t make the mistake of using Lincare. Do your research and you’ll see how low their services are rated by patients who have used their services.I have been using Lincare for several years and find that their services were bad from the onset, and have progressively gotten worse. Calls to their office usually go unanswered by their staff, and are answered by an answering service. The answering service is in no position whatsoever to even remotely understand what you are requesting. They no nothing about equipment, supplies, medications, deliveries, or about your care. Absolutely nothing. They will take your name and phone number, but can’t provide any assistance on any level. They simply take a name and number, and pass it on.If you are using a tank for oxygen, it is entirely conceivable that you may end up running out without getting it replenished. I used a portable oxygen concentrator, and on more than one occasion I have had my equipment stop working, called them, and not gotten a response back. After several days of repeated calls, eventually I get a response, but it requires calling their corporate offices in Florida, which will then lead to another call to their special complaint department. Even then, don’t expect much from Lincare here in Rochester MN, or as seen in the reviews, much from any other locations either.I was the owner of pharmacies, and understand the issues of quality care and patient needs. And because of this, I am financially able to own a second back up oxygen concentrator, which protects me from going without oxygen, and also allows me to professionally state that Lincare provides a very low quality of patient care. I have had to use my backup equipment multiple times, as they do not provide preventive maintenance and service calls. They simply wait for equipment failure.I have COPD, and two months ago was also prescribed a battery operated portable oxygen concentrator. It took Lincare one full month to send out a respiratory therapist to re-evaluate my equipment needs, and to certify the prescription requirements. It has been one month since that prescription was approved, and I still have not received it yet. I have called and spoke to the answering service twice over the last week, and have yet to get a return call from the Lincare staff. This has consistently been the case over the few years that I have used their services.Be forewarned that if you rely on Lincare, you may be risking your health by being neglected and falling through the cracks within their structure. As previously stated, I am quite fortunate to have other emergency equipment available to me, and which has had to be used. I have contacted other companies to change suppliers, but it becomes complicated as once you start using them, contracts are in place between Medicare, Lindcare, and yourself, which can really become quite complicated if trying to change suppliers. Durable medical equipment (DME) is often contracted with Medicare to be paid for the first 3 years, with the vendor carrying the last two years. At least with the local Rochester Minnesota Lincare, I strongly suggest that you look into using a different respiratory care provider. Otherwise anticipate that your calls will go unanswered, and you may be putting yourself at greater risks due to the circumstances when immediate care is needed, but unavailable.
Amazing group of people. Every customer is treated like family.
