WORKMAN HARLEY DAVIDSON THEY ARE THE BEST! ITS SO HARD TO FIND A HARLEY SHOP THAT KNOWS WHAT THEIR DOING. I HAD BOUGHT A BRAND NEW ROAD KING 2021 THE TAIL LIGHT QUIT WORKING AND I NEEDED THE THOUSAND MILE OIL CHANGE DONE BY A HARLEY SHOP. I HAD BOUGHT THE BIKE UP IN ST.CHARELES IL CLOSE TO CHICAGO IL IT WAS THE CLOSET HARLEY DEALER TO ME THAT HAD THE BIKE I WANTED. ANYWAY I WENT UP THERE AND BOUGHT THE BIKE. WELL I MADE THE OIL CHANGE APPOINTMENT WITH CLINTON HARLEY SHOP AND GET THE TAIL LIGHT FIXED SO I DIDNT HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO CHICAGO. BIG BIG MASTAKE MADE PROBLEM WORSE THEY GOT THE TAIL LIGHT TO WORK BUT THE ALARM QUIT WORKING I WAS POUNDING MY HEAD IN THE WALL.ANYWAY I CALLED FOX RIVER HARLEY THEY TOLD ME TO BE UP THERE EARLY TUESDAY MORNING SO I WAS THEY RAN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND SAID TO CALL THE END OF OCTOBER YEAH I SAID THE END OF OCTOBER! I WAS READY TO RIDE THE DAM THING INTO THE GREAT LAKE! SO IM HEADING BACK HOME AND THOUGHT I SHOULD STOP AT ROCK FALLS HARLEY THE BEST IDEA I EVER HAD I STOPPED AND TOLD THEM MY STORY THEY PULLED MY BIKE RIGHT IN 5 MIN. THEY HAD IT FIXED. THEY ARE MY HEROES NO ONE ELSE WILL EVER TOUCH MY HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTOR CYCLE! GREAT PEOPLE IM DEFINITELY PUTTING THEM ON MY CHRISTMAS CARD LISTDAN (BOONE) BOYLE

I will never bring my bike back there again. I arrived home after having 5k oil change done and had no tail light cover but wires are tucked in the bike nice and neat. Please explain to me how that happens.

Don’t bother getting your bike serviced here. Don’t even bother going in unless you are wearing a mask. Your going to get kicked out.

Family owned dealership, very nice staff. They have a smaller bike inventory but they stock all of the best. Tommy (the owners son, and the general manager) is a great guy to deal with. The techs in the back really know what theyre doing.

This is rather lengthy but you need to be aware of the amazing people that run this place. We had a flat tire 50 miles north in savanna late saturday afternnon. Everyone everywhere that could fix a flat had gone home for the weekend. By some fluke my wife found Workman HD (which did not come up on google maps.) And that itd be open Sunday 11-3 but service is closed for the weekend as well. 2 good samaritans (Lloyd and Jack)trailered our roadking to Workmans and Vern the store manager (the man who gets things done!) let us drop the bike off overnight to be worked on.My brother and I and Lloyd and Jack left. Intense storm was approaching and after a phone call to Vern(the man who gets things done!)my brother and I were able to leave our bikes at Workmans Harley-davidson overnight. That saved us 50 miles of riding in torrential downpour.Monday morning we arrived at Workmans. And Bill(Service guy?) Was eager to take care of us. Vern (the man who gets thing done!) Shows us some mistakes the previous tire installer had made and the service guy was more than willing to go through the mistakes and correct them. (Ex: reversed rim install)I told you itd be lengthy!!They treated us better than the dealer i got my bike from.Its a small dealership, but has one heck of a big heart.Great staff. Looking forward to going back to visit.

I was looking for a CVO Breakout at a price that wasnt marked up. Im in Oklahoma and the local shop had theirs marked up 11K. I found the Workman family shop and bought the bike at MSRP. My wife and I headed up there to accept delivery and it went very smooth and they surprised us both by gifting a jacket to both my wife and I for making the trip north to do business with them. You dont see that often enough, a business treating a customer like a good friend. I havent dealt with their service folks but they sure made us feel at home.

Ive been to Workmans in the past for parts/service and I have always gotten great service. Went there last week searching for a newer Eletra glide, and I found a great bike well within budget. Most of all, their customer service is out standing. Buying a bike at Workmans is like joining the family.

Fixed my motorcycles electrical problems by tightening the screws on the battery. Although they didnt recognize there was no insulating nuts on the battery and the same problem happened again.

I had new bars installed along with a Rockford fosgate sound system.. very professionally done !!

So heres my story about this place. I am a younger guy (I look younger than I am too) and Im looking to buy a bike. I walked in and looked at a few models while my Dad was outside on the phone. I walked up to the counter and asked the guy of he had any used bikes. I asked for a triumph. He told me he only has Harley and only deals with Harley, only rides Harley and only knows about Harley. Pretty much dismissing me.I go back to looking at bikes, and my dad walks in. He walks over to my dad and the first words out of his mouth are you like this bike? I can sell you this bike right now(Remember earlier when I said Im the one looking at the bikes, not my dad. Hes already got his ride picked out)We looked at every single bike on the show room floor and every bike we looked at this guy kept persistently asking my dad which model he liked, which bike he could sell him today.Heres a lesson for you over there guy, your first mistake was thinking the young kid (who happens to work in sales) was not an important factor in having a decision on buying a bike. You never talked to us or got to know us first. I was in there 45 minutes and I dont know the guys name and honestly dont want to! Im not going to buy anything from someone who I dont know. We never established a relationship or rapport at all.Then you never even asked us why were looking at bikes. Thats strike 2. You have no idea why im looking at bikes, who it was actually for or what im going to be doing with it. You never asked if I did any research on bikes or was looking at any particular models. (I dropped a hint earlier. Im the buyer, not my dad, and I want a triumph bonneville.)You only sell Harley, thats great! You should know competing products so you can tell me what Harley has to offer over that bike Im looking at.Strike 3 was cutting me off mid sentence when I was telling my dad which model I would consider.Then to top it off you lied straight to my face when I asked you what issues Harley was facing this year. I already knew the answer, 40% of those bikes are having oil leak issues (after 115 years I guess leaking oil isnt an important issue to fix when you can just sell them based on name) and the new Milwaukee engines are facing a whole new set of issues not seen before on Harley bikes. Thats why the 2018 street rod only has 3.7 stars. Instead you answered Ive never heard of any harleys having any problemsEvery bike has problems and quirks. Like the triumph Im looking at, electrical issues. The fix is an aftermarket starter.Welcome, Understand, then you can Sell, then appreciate our business. Which clearly you didnt so I went to another dealer near my house in chicago and bought one there instead.

Great shop still mom and pop shop only been there 3times and its mom and pop of the dealer selling you ur bike not a sales representative......... its Jane and Vern running the day to day operations and thats awesome. This is more then i can say for other useless dealerships. Mom and pop shops they will treat you good not like ur a cash cow they understand theyve been there and R still there for your riding or customer service

I was on a trip and had issues with my bike. I turned it around and limped it back to Workman s as it was the closest HD dealer. I got there before 0900hrs so they were not open, but two employees were outside waiting to begin their workday and asked what I needed. I told them and one of them said he would help me out even though they were not open yet. This gentleman advised me he did not work on bikes anymore and therefore had to change his shirt which he did. Long story short, he had me fixed up after pulling a piece of rubber out of the main jet of my carb. I asked him what I owed them and he stuck out his hand, shook mine, and said he owned the place and I didnt owe a thing and sent me on my way. I didnt think people did stuff like that anymore. I would recommend them to anyone. Officer Brechon, Byron, Illinois if you need any further information about Workmans ask me.
