We got my daughters wedding dress from this place. I would have went elsewhere, especially if I knew they were going to charge another $400 for alterations after we already paid over a $1000 for the dress to begin with. Plus $40 to pin it fee, plus tax. Every other dress shop Ive purchased dresses from over the years for prom, navy ball, pageantry etc never charge me like this for alterations...They Crazy!!

If you need a dress for any occasion (weddings, prom night, formal wear, etc.) this is where you need to shop!!! The staff is honest and sincere. They will help you find a dress you absolutely love at a very reasonable price. Ive shopped here for years and I continue to return. They also offer alterations and can preserve your special wear too.

WARNING! This place should no longer be in business! They overcharge and make you pay prior to trap you by having a no refund policy for when they botch the alterations. They destroyed my dress for a wedding, that can’t be reordered in time and even if it could is no longer being sold. The show stopper of the dress was the slits that show off my legs yet they closed up the slits, which they were NOT to do. After I kept telling them that was my favorite part of the dress and why l bought it to begin with! They were supposed to give a sweetheart neckline and destroyed that and the beautiful tulle detail. The altered the one shoulder wrong and took in the sides too much l can barely breath! They botched the hem taking up the underlining too much, more so than the tulle overlay, which was the opposite of what l said l wanted! I did not want my shoes showing through! Now they are refusing to refund my money as l now need to purchase another dress! Don’t go to them unless you want your items to be destroyed beyond repair! Waste of money and they have NO idea what they are doing! They shouldn’t be in business.

I went to Bridal Place & Alterations to look for a wedding dress because Im getting married very soon. Even though I didnt find a dress the little lady that works there was very helpful. I think she was they only one working that day. She really did her best to try to help me. To have alterations was going to be a little on the high side but she was very friendly.

Terrible experience with my bridal gown alterations. The seamstress spoke over me every single time I went in there (it took 4 times) and struggled to listen to what I needed done. The biggest issue, the store lost my veil and refused to take ownership of it. I left the veil in the box, in the dress bag, thinking it would be best to keep it all together, and when I returned for a fitting, it was gone. They refused to even work with me, and pushed all the blame on me. Awful experience. Recommend heading anywhere else but here.

I found the perfect wedding gown here!! My bridesmaids found a beautiful gown here!! Both times we were looking for dresses the staff was nice and friendly. But then theres the owner... she made me feel special when trying on gowns but thats her job to get the money. I spent a pretty penny on my gown and the bridesmaids dresses werent cheap either. But when that money was secured her friendiness went out the window. I was told I needed to come in to be fitted for alterations for a wedding in May. She had half my girls go up a size but somehow ordered my maid of honors up 2 sizes (most likely to make extra for alterations). When I called to express how I felt about the situation she completely ignored me... like Im talking and hear dead silence for a couple minutes. She really over did it when she hung up on me it was very UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I assured her I would be picking up my gown and she wouldnt get another penny for any of our alterations.

Paid 160 for a stap tightening and waist tightening, thats ridiculous.. even after paying all that money my dress still was not ready on time ! my dress costed only 100$ for a bridesmaid dress i ended up paying more that the actual bride ..

Hatie has been doing this for years and is an absolute EXPERT!! I brought her my wedding dress for alterations, and she helped me pick out accessories. She has the BEST eye for what would look perfect- she’s right every time! You can definitely trust her judgement. (She gave me really good deals, too! Since I was doing my alterations with her, she gave me a great deal on jewelry and a comb.)

I hated my experience here. After I showed the consultant pictures of what I wanted, she began pulling dresses for me. I did not seem to be allowed or encouraged to look on my own for styles I liked. The dresses she pulled were NOTHING like what I showed her. In fact, many of them were the exact opposite of what I asked for. When I did put on a dress, the consultant and who I assume was the owner tried to get my bridal party to talk me into a dress that I was clearly not happy with. After several dresses that I absolutely hated, we threatened to leave unless they pulled a dress like the one I planned to purchase somewhere else. They pulled a dress very similar, but it was very sparkly and extravagant, which I had told them I did not want. The owner kept pushing us to like the dress talking about all the alterations she could make to it. We ended up leaving very frustrated, angry, and embarrassed. It felt like an absolute waste of my time and from the looks on the dates of some other customers, I wasnt the only one who wasnt happy. I strongly suggest you do not visit this store, but if you do, be strong in telling them what you want.

I visited this store on a busy Saturday and received superb service from the two ladies that were there that day. I found a number of dresses to choose from and try on. Unfortunately I didnt decide on a dress that day but came back the following Monday and was provided the same quality of service. I purchased a beautiful bridesmaids dress at a great price. The dress is 5 stars and so was the level of service I received. I will say I visited Davids Bridal and the service/dress selection there was 1 star at best which led me back to Bridal Place & Alterations. Its nice to have shops like this where you can actually find quality choices and receive quality service. I will re-visit for any upcoming special occasions in the future.Remove review

Great place with affordable prices. Staff is committed to “making it work.” I bought the first dress I tried on and though it was snug, I loved it. The lady offered to do a corset back and it was a great experience. I found “the dress” quickly and stress-free. Trust me, the prices are affordable too, and then I received a discount! If I could give 0 stars I would!! Went in this morning to find a formal dress I needed quickly. The girl that helped me was very sweet and helpful. I ask her to let me know what the total price would be with alterations, the most expensive. She gave me a price and I agreed. Told her i was coming back in a few hours to get it altered. when the lady that does alterations was there. Came back and lady started pinning up the hem . I went to pay and the price was multiplied by 3. I told her that was not what was originally told to me and I didnt want it. Then she told me I owed her 18.00 for her 5 minutes of time. This place is a RIP off and I will tell anyone not to bother going here!!!!

If i could give a zero i would, son ordered 8 tuxedos here...8! for his wedding. not one groomsmen received a call that they were in. day before weeding they picked up the tuxes, not ONE fit correctly. was told they could overnight if anything was wrong, when asked to do so said wasnt possible. was given a certain price when ordered, that just magically kept getting more expensive. i went in while 4 of the groomsmen went in to pick up and try on. NEVER ONCE DID ONE PERSON COME TO CHECK ON ANY OF THEM.... terrible service and all the wanted was money. they do not stand behind there product and whoever measures the clients does a terrible job

I came to this store to find a dress for a pageant. I found an awesome gown last minute. They greeted me and helped me find what I needed quickly. The dress needed some fitting so they helped me with that as well. A beautiful selection of gowns. The service was awesome .

Wish I could give negative stars. This place is a rip off. The owner does not honor original deadlines and charges a RIDICULOUS amount of money for alterations. Save yourself time and money and stay away from this place. The owner could care less about the customer’s experience..money is all shes concerned about.My mother in law paid for rushed delivery on her dress because the date was inside the “two week mark”. Fine, their policy..we pay the “rush fee”. The day we’re suppose to pick up the dress(Day before the wedding), the dress wasn’t touched prior to the pick up day! She started working on the dress the morning of pick up. The owner has turned something that’s supposed to be a happy experience into a nightmare. Don’t let the good reviews fool you. I NEVER write reviews. Our experience was horrible! By the way if you’re not happy with your service don’t expect to get your money back.

I HAD AN ABSOLUTELY WORST NIGHTMARE HERE WITH MY WEDDING DRESS...RUN RUN RUN....MY DRESS GOT DESTROYED FROM THEM DOING ALTERATIONS...THE OWNER OF THIS SHOP ASSURED ME THAT MY DRESS WOULD FIT PERFECT AFTER DOING ALTERATIONS TO IT....MY DRESS NEEDED TO BE TAKEN IN ON TOP A GOOD BIT, SHE MADE IT CERTAIN THAT SHE COULD MAKE IT WORK..SHE INSISTED ON ME HOLDING MY STRAPLESS DRESS UP ON MY BODY, IN WHICH I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH IT BEING.. IT LOOKED PERFECT AND FELT GOOD TO ME, THEN.....WHEN I WENT FOR MY TRY ON 2 WEEKS AFTER THAT, IT FELT LIKE A PAIR OF LOW RISE JEANS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE A HIGH RISE PAIR OF JEANS.. SHE DEFINITELY STIRRED ME IN THE WRONG DIRECTION WITH THIS DRESS... THEN, THE ONLY FIX SHE HAD, WAS SHE INSISTED ON ME PUTTING MY WEDDING DRESS ON THE DAY OF MY WEDDING WITH SOME FREAKING GLUE..WHAT A DISASTER THIS WOMEN MADE THIS TIME OF MY LIFE INTO...RUN RUN RUN

Not even 1 star. Would not suggest this place. The owner is rude and would refund me my money on a dress that my child could not wear because it did not meet the Balls dress rule. Only wanted to a store credit which was no wear near what she offered. Needless to say our money and a dress that she has.....

Dont waste your or your daughters time. We took my daughters wedding dress to be altered. It needed to be let out about an half inch on each side of the bust. When we returned to pick up my daughters wedding dress it was a total mess. They made the bust line about 2 inches to big. Changed the waist line and got make-up on the back of the dress. They said no problem we will fix. We went back again for the third time and they had not fixed the dress and guess what There is a safety pin where the make up is. I asked why is there a safety pin here. No problem we will fix for you she says....needless to say the dress is NOT FIXED SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME...TERRIBLE PLACE...DONT LET THEM BREAK YOUR DAUGHTERS HEART.

I am telling you please do not go here!!!! I repeat do not go here. Ordered dresses for my brothers wedding. Got fitted in January dresses were supposed to be back in March. Did not come back until mid May and one set of dresses were different color from original. My matron dress was count 1..2..sizes too big and they said well that is what was wrote on paper. Maam I didnt write down my measurements nor take my own measurements. My sister and I can fit in this dress. The lady took the wrong measurements from the beginning. The wedding is in just a weeks. Do not go here and did I mention they want to charge almost the price of dress for alterations! Again please do not go here!!

This place is a rip off. They intentionally ordered my dress two sizes to big and tried to charge me 150 for alterations. I would never visit this bridal shop again it was like paying for my dress twice. The lady in the front offered me a 3 dollar discount smh and a bogus excuse about why my dress was so big.

Ive been here twice. the first time was a nice experience. the second time was a headache. the ladies working there were very nice, the problem was they didnt seem organized. I was very nervous about ordering my dress there, but it worked out great and I got the dress I wanted. I think if the ladies there were a bit more professional and organized, I would have felt more confident that everything was going to be alright.

Worse place ever. My bridesmaids dresses were suppose to be in 5 weeks ago. My girls paid extra for 3 week express shipping. When I call no one seems to have any answers. Do not recommend them to anyone. It is stressing me out my wedding is in 2 weeks.

This place definitely deserves -5 stars!! We asked for straps to be added to a dress. The straps were not supposed to be an wider than 1.5. They ended up being two different sizes! One was 2 inches, while the other was 1.75 inches! Once we noticed the straps were two different sizes, we asked them to take them off! We made 5 trips for ALTERATIONS! They wouldn’t refund us our money for THE STRAPS ONLY!!! They have seamstresses, and none of them can sew! The owner wouldn’t even speak to us about the straps being wrong. She wouldn’t even acknowledge us at all! She hid in the back like a COWARD, and let her workers do her dirty work. Not to mention, this place is ridiculously overpriced! They ruined my prom experience!! PLEASEDO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I found the dress that my husband loved and I love it too.

Went in with my mother to find a dress for her for my brothers wedding. First time we went we had no luck finding anything but staff was willing to help. Second time we went in the staff was helpful, didn’t remember us but we found a gorgeous dress. We asked multiple times how much alterations would be since the dress was on the pricier side and we did not want to spend $500 and above. We were assured MUTIPLE times that it would be $30 hem, $20 to take in bust, $15 to fix neckline and that was a ball park and we were told that it wasn’t going to be expensive at all. We bought the dress and we told the owner who was the seamstress that we were in a weight loss challenge and did not want to alter the dress until it was closer to the wedding. We were assured that going 3 weeks before the wedding they would have it done in time and it would be perfect. We go for alterations and was slapped with a $525 bill for alterations when the dress costed $300. We were fuming since we asked multiple times if the alterations was going to be on the costly side and they assured us no. Our backs were up against a wall since we only had 3 weeks until the wedding and the dress was nonrefundable, and we had a hard time finding a dress initially, so we had to pay this absurd amount. 2 weeks later we go for a fitting (which is 1 weeks before the wedding) and they didn’t hem the dress correctly and only hemmed one layer of the 2 (how is this possible hemming is the easiest part and done on just about every dress). We also notice pulls occurring from them altering it and the owner getting frustrated with us and avoiding us because she has had it with altering this dress (though she charged us $525 for it) So we re-pin the dress and come in 3 days before we leave for the wedding and they hem is still NOT correct and parts were longer than others, so we re-pin again and was told it would be about 20 min and to wait, 30 min go by and we needed to leave so we agreed to come in Saturday when they open to it try on since we had other places to go and wait there if they needed on Saturday. Needless to say we come in on Saturday dress is still messed up, We re pin and are waiting over an hour and the dress is still not correct and the hem seems to be getting shorter and their not fixing the problem area. After that last attempt we asked for compensation for the hard ache and the dress still not being done correctly and to make this situation right since we leave in 2 days for the wedding and the owner tells us that she feels she did the best she could in her heart and she would not compensate us. So we left with a dress that we are not happy with, that is still not hemmed correctly. This place is awful, the owner will charge you over what the dress cost in alterations and say she is going to do a great job because she is a dress maker. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND PUT YOU IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG.... oh and don’t forget, no refunds even when they screw you badly. And to top that off, they won’t remember you or call you back when you ask them to find information for you about dresses your interested in.

Me and my child arrived at 5pm..we walked into an argument of a displacement order that was paid for. The staff was great in handling the situation, but needed approval from the owner. She was so rude. With no concern over obviously something that wasnt the customers fault....she told her there was nothing she could do. Ok, cool, right...NO!!! if the outfit wasnt needed they wouldve never came. The event is Saturday. Again, like I said the staff was so friendly..the owner was so rude. She wouldnt even handle the problem, so her staff took care of it..after she walked off. Ok, it was my turn, by that time the store was closing and not only did she tell me no on everything my child wanted. This lady said we can offer it, but we cant do any measurements . Huh, if someone is giving you their hard earned money to keep you in business, you stop what your doing and you accommodate for what is needed. This lady, which is the owner, keeps walking fussing at her employee and told her she doesnt have time to do that...it was to much going on in the back for them to do my childs measurements. Lol, if my child didnt already pay engagement he had booked..we wouldve left. My thing is had my children not been with me as a parent I wouldve told her off. You dont treat people that way. This is a place of business and these are your employees. We are the reason your open in the first place. Im already stressed out, as a parent, but i didnt walk in and take it out on anyone there. I called my mom and told her what happened and I told her I still gave her my business. Even after she was so hateful. Only, only, and I do mean only because I was already there and my child needed it. Hsd i left to go somewhere else, everything wouldve been closed. When going into businesses there are review columns as well, as you have friends and associates. I do plan on telling everyone about our visit to this store as well as how the owner treated certain people. Not everyone was treated in such a manner. Just certain ones. Im going to pray her strength in the Lord, because somebody is going to end up going off on her because of her hateful attitude and smart mouth. I cant understand if your giving people whats in the store why are you telling them your sending off for it.....?????. Why was you charging rush fees like your sending off for the items. Ill never do business with that lady ever again. Im going to make sure I tell others about it as well. I just wish the employees would seek employment opportunities elsewhere . Not only was she mean to customers she was so mean to them in front of everyone else. Had I not had a purpose for coming in there..whuch was for my child. I wouldve been one of those people that I mentioned earlier. My opinion dont shop here there are plenty of other places you can go pick one. The owner wants your money, but she doesnt care if your satisfied or happy with the service. A person thst is thst hateful and bitter should just stay home in the dark. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The owner needs a wake up call!!!!

The wedding gown selection is outdated... And gowns that are somewhat in style now have a ridiculous price tag.... If I went back, it would be for a bridesmaid gown from the front of the store. Even some of the bridesmaids gowns are outdated and overpriced.
