I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. I recommend Crash 1 to everyone Who needs bodywork done or maintenance on their car. They are so professional and always on time. They go the extra mile and the staff are so friendly. The work done on my car‘s over the last 10 years has never been short of perfect.

Used there service many times always fast and courtious

After having body work done I found my air conditioner not to work,the wrong bumper put on with the wrong sensors. I took it to a other mechanic(reliable)this is where I got information on what was wrong with my car. This company used false conclusions to milk an insurance company out of money. (I have proof to what I say). I do not recommend this place. They are corrupt.

I took my car to crash1 after it was damaged by a snow plow, and was impressed from start to finish. The staff at Crash1 made the entire process so painless- they worked directly with my insurance and even gave me a free loaner! That was a HUGE help! They finished their work on my vehicle ahead of schedule and when I picked it up they had it looking brand new. The owner even gave us a tour of the shop( the most immaculate auto repair shop I’ve ever seen) and they gave me a bouquet of flowers as a ‘thank you’ for my business. Wow! Definitely recommend Crash1 for any auto body repairs.

The employees displayed good customer service and communication with me. However, after I returned home, I noticed a large, obvious paint stain in the backseat of my vehicle. The damage to my car was in the front bumper, so there was no reason anyone from the crash center should have even been in my vehicle in the first place, other than to drive it to the shop to repair the damage. I cant imagine whomever was responsible for the interior damage couldnt have known about it. The color of the paint completely contrasted the color of the interior. In addition, Ive noticed there are a couple of air bubbles in the new paint job, which I dont appreciate. If all you care about is good customer service, then Crash1 should do. But if you want great quality repairs made on your vehicle, Id look for another body shop.

This place is the worst. They advertise free loaner cars, but inan accident you wont get one because theyre all promised out. Accident was on 10-6, took til 10-27 to fix. Kept adding repairs to bill, some that had nothing to do with the accident, but didnt fix the brakes, which was from the accident. The office manager started yelling at me as I was upset about the initial problems saying Im thru with you!. The hood had big circular scratches, orange peels, and divots and bumps in it. I was told oh thatll buff out. They were paid $10,400 for these repairs and i was told i have to live with the hood. My insurance has dropped them as a provider. This place does shoddy work and wont back it up. I would not go there.

Completely ignored my first attempt to contact them. Second time I tried I called them and the customer service was rude and wasted my time. Took my business elsewhere.

I have taken my cars here when I needed work and loved them. This last time it took my car having to go back 4 times before thsy got the work done right. The 1st time it took 35 days. You think qith that much time it would have been done right. I also had to take it to another shop for qork to be done that they said they did.

Crash One repaired our van after an accident and everything from initial contact to completion of the repairs was handled with exceptional quality and provided us with confidence in the job they did for us. I highly recommend them for and body shop service needed.

My SUV needed the driver side mirror replaced. I went in to crash one to talk about replacing the mirror. Their part person was unable to find an aftermarket nearer and we talked about the fact that I had found a mirror that would fit the SUV I had online. So I was able to get the part and bring it in to crash one and they only charged me a little over $50 to install it. When I hit taking it to the dealership for an estimate they told me $500. So the entire mirror with installation cost me under $200. When I picked up my car I was given flowers as well as the savings, so needless to say I was very happy with my service and the cost. Every one there was very nice and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Wow is all I can say. Had our door fixed in about in about 10 days and it looked like new. The whole process was pretty painless.

They were pleasant & professional. They said they would need 6-7 days for the repairs, and they were finished on the 7th day. They worked with my insurance company for all the financial details. Only issue was a loose clip on the trim that I had to return to get it fixed--otherwise everything was good.

Crash One was not at all professional. They could not even give me a quote!They said they could not do the minor repair I went there.for! The other 5 body shops I went to for a quote said they could do my repair and even guarantee their work! Crash One is a joke!!!

We were in IL visiting family and had a car accident on the way there. I was concerned about driving the car home to OH and Crash One Collision Center checked my car to be sure that it was safely driveable. Kent and the owner, Bill, were incredibly kind and generous to me and my daughter, even allowing our dog in out of the car to play with their dog. During a particularly stressful time they were welcoming and reassuring, and I was incredibly impressed with their business and staff. I most highly recommend Crash One and am very grateful for the service they provided my family.

First, everything seems great, unfortunately Ive been hit twice in a 2 year period and the years after show the quality of work completed. Ive had to go back twice, once for rust less than a year after the repair and another for a part that peeled off my door. I go from my personal garage to my work garage and guess what, I have rust another year down the road in the same spot again and they wont cover it. NEVER AGAIN, trust our locally owned shops that are not franchised.

Crash1 did some repair work from an accident I had. It took them a year to acknowledge a faulty headlight/tail light install job. They ended up fixing it eventually but unfortunately kept the led lights I had recently bought.

A fantastic company, weve been taking our vehicles to crash1 for many years. Not once weve been disappointed by their services. From minor repairs to major, all of our expectations have always been met. They go above and beyond to please there customers.We recently took our service vehicle in for some front end damage repairs. I wasnt shocked or surprised when I saw the finished work. The vehicle looked brand new again. They were very thorough, even straighten out the dented license plate and correcting other minor issues that I wasnt even aware of.I cant say enough about these guys. I HIGHLY recommend this business to everyone in the Rockford area. While at the Van Galder bus terminal in Rockford recently, my parents van was hit broadside on the passenger side. This resulted in being unable to close the passenger door. We were able to make our way to Crash 1, where the service could not have been better. Everyone there was very professional, and kind, and they were able to get the door to close enough so we were able to safely get back to Dixon.

I went to pick up my SUV, It was sitting outside waiting for me. But it was raining and they never took me out to check out the work they did. Then for one week I wasnt driving my car, I never went out in my garage. My grandson stopped by today (Saturday) and he went an looked at it. It was missing apart on my door and the part that they repainted ended up with a broken part that holds it on to the car. Now I have to take it back, which isnt something that I am happy about. Think twice about taking your car there. I hope they will fix it and replace what they took off and maybe hire people who know what they are doing..

Had work done on my new car and now my sunroof leaks and in this cold weather I have ice accumulating on the inside of sunroof and.front window. They took the panel off the drivers door and didn’t put it back together correctly and now it rattles and if I have my window down I hear a constant whistle. Tried to talk to them about these problems but just got excuses back. Definitely do not recommend them.

Great dependable service When it was most needed

We went here for an estimate for the damage done to my car by a tow truck, the two women in there were extremely rude and completely talked down to us as if we were children. We left without the estimate and are never going back. Terrible customer service

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Everything started out great but then gradually went down hill over the 2 weeks they had our vehicle. We went to pick up our vehicle that so happened to be done early which was great, thanks! But upon inspecting their work we notice a few things wrong ( Clear coat dripping down the door, a 1 inch scratch/chip in the paint, and a ruff line across our whole inside door) They proceeded to fix that which took 2 more days because their guy went to deep and had to fix it. Then when picking up for the 2nd time a NEW issue was there that was NOT there the first time(chipped paint in 3 spots within a 4 inch area) So they kept it again to fix. Mind you the second time we(2 separate people) thoroughly looked over the car for over 20 minutes and that was the only issue that was seen. They kept it to touch up that area again. Two days later we go to pick it up thinking we would be getting it back looking like it should. Nope wrong, now there were 2 more scratches/chips in different areas that were never there. The shop manager basically says oh those were probably put there by the Manufacturer for when the door opens. Are you kidding me! They were responsible in fixing the passenger side after a accident. All they went off of for work was the estimate the insurance gave. It is their responsibility as a collision center to make any adjustments and repairs the adjuster didnt see. Not just say oh well that wasnt on the estimate. And for things to continue to pop up while you and only you had our vehicle seems fitting that crash one is at fault. Then to top it off after they wouldnt fix what rightfully should have been, we go to leave and our car wouldnt start. They had the come out and jump the car. Not even a sorry, lets see if we can fix this NOTHING. They sent out a shop kid and that was it. Never will we recommend or go here again!

They told me two weeks for repair, it was over a month (5 weeks) before I got my car back. Different people told me different things when I called. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the people you talk to about your car were defensive and unapologetic, poor customer service skills. They made me drive to a gas station to put $6 worth of gas in when I brought the loner back. Got a flat tire on my way back from picking up the car and when I called and asked if it was like that there Kevin was very rude and defensive.

First time I loved them, second time I dont believe I got new parts, and they said I did something to it which I thought he was calling me a lier. I will NEVER go their again.

Customer service desk lady was rude and snarkily told me that they are refusing to give me an estimate. That was my first and only time I will step foot in that building. Worst experience ever. Obviously she speaks for the entire business and doesn’t want my business. If I could give this place a negative rating, I would have.

Horrible experience! Very poor customer service skills had to call them to get a status on my car. Took them 3 months to fix my car when they said it would be 3 1/2 weeks to begin with. They did give me a courtesy car but it didnt always start and had multiple other problems with it and did nothing to fix the situation. When my car was finally done they didn’t think they were in the wrong, just stated “these things happen.” In the first 24 hours of having my car back I had to return to the shop 3 times. Failed to properly install a part, failed to fill up coolant, and installed a part that wasn’t even working property. Needless to say I will not ever be doing business with them again, nor do I recommend them.

Concern for getting the best service for your vehicle, friendly service

I was told my car would be ready on Monday, when I dropped my car off on Thursday afternoon. It wasnt! I was then told it would be ready on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. It wasnt! I did receive a call from a very condescending receptionist late Thursday afternoon that my car would be ready to pick up on Friday. I said I would be in after work. Then I was asked what time. I said I wasnt sure. Well guess what! You need an appointment to pick up your vehicle. She was very condescending and shouldnt be working with the public. I will not be going back there!

I was personally referred to Crash 1 by a friend of the family who works there, but I received a phone call this morning by Michelle Arbisi who told me they will not be fixing my car and I need to get it out of there now. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. Just sad to see some people can be so mean giving a bad reflection to an entire company.
