We have bought 3 of our last 4 vehicles here. While I’m not sure about another purchase from here, I WILL return to the service department. Mike Stahl is the reason too. He has been more than patient with me and finally found an acceptable option for a radio that has been replaced 4 times. Even when I’m more than frustrated he managed to help and try to get it resolved. 🤞🏼this one is the last one!!! Keep up the good work Mike!

Big thanks to the sales team at Andersons. When I buy a vehicle, I hang on to it. Im picky and I had not purchased a car or truck for 28 years. I wanted a Jeep, so I started looking weeks ago. I looked and looked and looked. The one I wanted was in scarce supply. I tried to order one from the factory, but custom ordering had been temporarily discontinued. Andersons wanted to help and they were able to find what I was looking for. It had just about everything I wanted, but there was a problem. It was located at a dealership way out of town. I was in a panic. Luckily, very luckily, Randy was there to save me from myself. Otherwise, this may not have turned out the way I wanted. Randy made only one promise. Well try our best to get it down here. He guaranteed nothing, but I had to trust Randy and his sales teammates to make it happen. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst, he called me before the day was over. Its here, he said. And now, I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. For all who are reading this, if you go to Andersons, they wont make unrealistic promises. If they can do it, theyll try their best. If they cant, theyll be up front with you. They work as a team. If I could give 0 stars I would. We brought our vehicle here, they recommended us to have our (front brakes ONLY) done. On our way home that night the van started making a weird noise while driving.We went back to the dealership and they said it was the rear brakes ... okay fine....we got those done. We drove our van home that night and it was still making some weird noise.We went back to the dealership again this time they thought it was the caliper....so we got that done. We drove our van back home that night still making the grinding, rubbing noise.We take it back to the dealership they thought it was the emergency brakes ......brought our van home that night and it was still making the same noise.We went back to the dealership they thought they just ordered the wrong pads .....got that done. We drove our van home that night still making noise.Looks like they dont know what their doing. One of their mechanics heard the noise as well as a manager. They still said they couldnt find anything wrong. Sounds like theyre integrity is very questionable. So they sent us home again with our van still making that grinding rubbing noise.

Service department explained to us that just looking at a vehicle we bought from them costs 150$ up front after we made the appointment. “ Our techs don’t get paid by the hour they get paid by the job!” This would have been nice to know before we drove 30 minutes one way to come see the only place we trusted to know what to do to fix our lights. Felt like they didn’t want to help our situation, as do most with electrical work on these models I guess. Great sales team, just wish the service department was as good to us. We will buy from someone else next time unfortunately.

Just took delivery of a new Wrangler Unlimited. Everyone there that I dealt with did a great job, Robbie Pezza was our salesperson and took extremely good care of us. All of our questions were answered in a friendly and helpful manner. Financing was smooth and easy. All in all they seem to have a pretty darn good team there.

Had car in for service 3 months ago still having same issues. Car is still under warranty. Tried making another appointment to get same issue fixed(hard shifting transmission and transmission noise). Was told they couldnt get me in until September 29th. Its now August 27th! They expect me to drive a faulty vehicle under warranty with a bad transmission for a month! Never taking anything here again. Got an appointment right awY with Kunes in Belvidere

Looked at a Grand Cherokee I was in love with, but the prices were a little steep. I ended up going to Barkau automotive in Freeport to find a vehicle I fell in love with! When I reached out to the salesman to let him know I had found something elsewhere, he texted me multiple times explaining that I’m overpaying elsewhere & no one can beat his pricing & “however I want to see my numbers”. Just for that, I will never return here & I will make sure others know that as well. I ended up having multiple people tell me they had a similar/even worse experience of salesman talking down to them & being very rude as well.

Right away had rust in my new Jeep, brought it in never fixed it. Then the start stop caused my car to totally turn off my car at stop lights forcing me to restart my car to drive. Took it in 4 times and never was fixed…. Then the A/C stopped working and finally told them this is crazy! They tell me there is no records of any service work done on my car only lol changes…. These people lie through their teeth! Never use them!

Josh in sales was incredibly helpful and patient. Although due to COVID and a microchip shortage their stock was depleted, he bent over backwards trying to help me and even assisted me in getting my truck thru a separate dealer. It didn’t benefit him to do so but he did it anyway in an act of true class. It’s things like this that create loyalty, helping other with no reward for yourself. Josh earned Anderson Dodge a loyal customer going forward and I look forward to it.

Very disappointed with the service I received. Reserved the first appointment slot for routine oil change, tire rotation, and alignment check. 7 hours later my vehicle still wasnt ready. Spoke with two different service reps, not even 30 minutes apart, and I was given 2 completely opposite stories as to why my vehicle was not ready. I had prior arrangements and could not wait any longer for service to finish. The last dealer I had perform this maintenance had it done in 45 minutes. I will not be returning here.

I have used Anderson Dodge to maintain a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country with service contract until 300,000 miles. Purchased the vehicle new. They have worked on it over 50 times. Hey don’t take your cars to Anderson Jeep on East state. Your cars will be stolen. There were 3 stolen vehicles Saturday 06/12/2021 in their garage sitting there to be fixed. A Cherokee and 2 Dodge Challenger demons were stolen. Anderson said they are not responsible for the thefts but in fact are.

AVOID SERVICE AT ALL COSTS. worst internal communication ever. Only one “service advisor” who can speak about vehicle repair status. Lucky to get a call back within three hours.Three separate visits for service on my challenger.Day 1- was told I had a gasket issue. Car was too unsafe to drive and will need to stay the night to fix the next morning. As a result I paid for a rentalDay2- issue was not fixed because a part was needed and won’t have at location until following week. After no work being done, Was told my car is actually safe to drive. What happened??? Why did I pay for a rental?Day3- dropped off car at 7am. Part arrived night before. Car was ready at 530. Took forever. Lifetime warranty didn’t cover part of the installation. Wonderful.Day 4- brought car back due to a trunk button falling off believed to be from day 2 maintenance of a separate issue. Dropped off car at 7am. My service advisor was not able to answer my call from 11:30 to 2. Car ready at 530. What a joke.

Purchased a brand new 2018 dodge journey a couple weeks ago. The suspension wasnt right so I took it to the service department the day after Im bought it. Service at first didnt want to help. After a couple hours they said they would see if Chrysler would fix it. The car had 21 miles on it. A couple days later they replaced the strut. I didnt even leave the parking lot and could hear the suspension was louder than before. Went right back.inside and told them. The seflvice.manager told me then there is nothing else he could do and I would have to take the car how it was. Now this is a brand new 2018 that Ive owned 3 days now. This was absolutely unprofessional. I talked to several people and got the same results. Chad Anderson the general manager refused to show his face or talk to me . What a coward. Stay away from all Anderson dealerships. They are all crooks now and dont care about costumer service. The car was returned to them since the refused to fix it. I hope they at least fixed the dodge journey before selling it to someone else. I bet the wheel will fall off in under 15k miles.I attached the a picture of the vin for the dodge journey. If you purchased this car after me watch the front passenger suspension.Edit to owner response... the issue took days and over 20 hours. If you took safety seriously you would have fixed the new car without question and guaranteed it to last. I have owned several cars and suspension failures have never happened to me. You acted like it was no big deal and if the wheel fell off it wasnt your concern.Stop with lies and act like a respectable business.I hope you dont sell that car to anyone and risk their life since you know its got problems.

We took our vehicle here to get our sunroof looked at because it was leaking. They have a guy that comes in on Fridays just for issues such as this. Well, we had them also hook our car up to their machine because the ABS, ESP and BAS lights kept coming on. They called and said we needed a left rear wheel.bearing and a brake sensor replaced. Had that taken care of and then they called back and said axle needed replaced. The next day and almost $1,500 later we went and retrieved our car. As soon as it started raining the same day, the sunroof started leaking again. Fast forward to today, November 1...Took car back and got sunroof repaired and also received a refund because we were overcharged last time. Fast forward to today, November 21 and sunroof is leaking again after last nights rainfall. Called to setup another appointment to come back yet again. Cant get in until December 6 because they guy that works on the sunroof is on vacation until then. Maybe theyll get it right this here time..So here it is December 6 and we are sitting at Anderson Dodge waiting for the sunroof to be repaired. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm. Update: third time was not a charm. Sunroof still leaking and I dont understand why. We have had heavy rains and we have taken the car to the car wash several times without any issues. Now today, its leaking. Makes no sense to me. Obviously just unclogging the drain holes isnt solving the issue.

My husband bought a manual jeep from these people in October of 2020.. The transmission is now having issues so we called on Friday and they said they would call us back it’s now Wednesday and not a word. After going through all of their reviews looks like it’s pretty common at this dealership. My advice avoid this place obviously they are a little shady.

What ever you do..do not use the service department here ! I purchased a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2014 and had every oil change and service done there ( even purchased new tires ) because I thought it best to work with the dealership I purchased it from . At just over 100,000 miles, it needed some seriously expensive repairs done because of defective parts which Chrysler took care of . However, the mechanic also said there was a leak in the power steering rack and it needed to be replaced and the charge was 2400.00. That charge was more than twice of what the internet search said it should be so I took it to a really good and trusted mechanic for a second opinion . And there is NO leak in the power steering rack ..... it is not even damp . He says this is a blatant case of someone telling me something is wrong when in actuality there is nothing wrong . So, I am DONE with dealing with Anderson .

Took my new vehicle in for a warranty claim for paint defects (I did not purchase the car there by the way) they took pictures and sent me on my way, which is fine. However, I never received any update or call back from them and it had been 4.5 weeks or so. When I reached out to them to check the status of the claim they had told me that they were waiting for things to get processed after they got an estimate for the repair. Chrysler told me that nothing was under review or being processed. Fast forward to week 6 and still nothing, not a call or anything. I ended up taking the car to another dealer over an hour out of town and the vehicle was dropped off on a Friday and at the body shop Tuesday afternoon. I will NEVER take my car back for any warranty, or maintenance work to this dealer!

Randy is the guy you want if youre looking to buy a vehicle. He never told my husband and I of this, but his manager made it known that Randy negotiated more money for the trade in value of our vehicle without us knowing or asking him to do it. Also, Randy follows through with what he says hes going to do--hes trustworthy and goes the extra mile, and he is super organized about it. He also has the best sense of humor.I think the people at Anderson are great generally, but I specifically wanted to mention Randy because I think its unique when you have someone who tries to work on your behalf and does it with humility.

We stopped in to look for a car for my 16 year-old son. Being his first car, we wanted to make sure that we were purchasing something that was safe and reliable. Johnny greeted us and asked what he could do to help. He was very laid back, and did not pressure us at all! When we went for our test drive, he had the vehicle warmed up, and even turned on the seat heaters for us, it was very cold that day. Those small details did not go unnoticed. Johnny was knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in and made sure to answer any questions we may have had. If you want anything taken care of in a timely manner don’t speak with Monica, the service counter secretary. She had me wait 2 and a half weeks for a part she didn’t even order. Upon calling for a 3rd time over this period, I now learned that I had to bring the car in for an inspection before the part could be ordered.A call back with better information/ communication would have been nice and professional so I wasn’t waiting for a notice and wasting my time.Ed, however, was very helpful and handled the situation.

If I could give negative stars I would. Their service department is the worst! I’ve been here several times. They don’t log appointments in the computer and turn you away when you show up. Slow. Promise a loner and don’t have one a available. The mechanics don’t know how do fix anything unless it shows up on a scan.

Noticed fluid leak at front passenger tire. Knew it was a bad axle seal but due to lack of time off from work and it is under an extended warranty I decided to just have them take care of it. Made my appointment for July 10th at 10:30am dropped it off the day before after work. Called them Friday afternoon after not hearing anything was told they had looked at it and it need both sides done and they were waiting for the warranty company to get back to them. So now Im without my jeep for the weekend. So now its Monday and I call them again around 1:30pm and they say they heard back from the warranty company but the tech is busy they will work on it first thing Tuesday. Its now Tuesday called them about 1:30pm they said they were working on it right now. Called again at 4:30 was put on hold for 20 minutes until I finally hung up. So to summarize they have had my jeep since July 10th its now basically July 15th before I will get my jeep back for a job I could have done in my driveway with limited resources in a day. I bought this jeep from them, the sales associate was awesome but I would rather pay an actual mechanic to fix it then go through this again.

Josh is an absolute work horse. He answered all our questions with ease. We got a new vehicle and it wasn’t being made in the factory anymore but they found us a 90% match. It was easy to purchase and they try to use local banks for finance. We found a flaw right after we brought the vehicle home but they worked tirelessly to make it exactly right. Their loaner cars are nice and they make sure you don’t miss driving to your next appointment no matter how busy your schedule is. Loved that I was able to view cars online and go in for a test drive. Everyone at Anderson Dodge was very friendly and helpful but Johnny was the bomb! He didnt pressure me one bit but asked how he could help. He went way out of his way to be available on his day off and stayed over four hours past his shift just to be available for closing the sale and walking me through details and setup on the cars many features. I was finally ready to buy and the salesman and staff went above and beyond to locate the perfect Jeep that looked the way I wanted it to and had all of the features I was looking for. Decided at the age of 40 I was going to buy myself a Wrangler. So my son and I decided to go out to Anderson Dodge and see what they had. Within seconds we met Sales Consultant Sue Mounts. After letting us take a couple of them out I knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately they did not have my exact wish list. But they found it! It was ready the next day detailed and perfect. Sue Mounts personally drove the vehicle to my place of employment due to my work schedule. I really cannot say I have had better customer service then that. Blake Fanning Business Manager was very helpful in all of the paperwork end of it as well. He explained everything in detail and answered any questions or concerns I had. This has been one of the easiest and best purchases I have ever made. And I can honestly say a big part of that is where I went. Took car in and explained everything that was happening, 2 days car kept and they called and said they could find nothing wrong with my Chrysler 200. They fixed some recalls on my car they said, picked up my car and the next day my ABS and traction light came on. Told them there was a noise coming from my peddle when I lift off of it and now my steering wheel shakes and there is a weird smell coming through. I’m not understanding how they missed the noise of the brakes or whatever unless they really didn’t drive the car enough. I am scared to take my car back because not sure if they know what they are doing.

Worst dealership I’ve dealt with. They tore the tint off the vehicle after I put my down payment on it without talking to me about it. I had asked them if the car was in an accident and I was told there was no accident reported. After getting home with the car I took it to the shop to get an estimate on the tint and they noticed 5,000 dollars worth of damage and said the car was obviously in an accident. I messaged the person that sold the car to me and again insisted the car was not in an accident. I’m worried there is more damage to the inside that can cause the car to not be safe. Seems to me they only care about money and not customer satisfaction.

Terrible salesman that we dealt with. He made us an offer that was less than half of what our vehicle was worth for trade in. The salesman did not want to do anything but get us to sign paper work. We already had financing to buy a brand new truck and I asked to see 2 different ones. I was told that they are the same truck just different color. So I only needed to see one of them. After all of that I told him that the deal would no be done at the offer they gave us. His response was Im sorry we do not have feel good money to make me feel better about my poor buying decisions. I called the sales manager the next day and was assured we would be top priority if we would give them a second chance. This was little over 3 months ago and I had called multiple times and not once did i get a call back. Needless to say we bought new f150 and got what we wanted for trade in.

The quality of the service department repairs I had....not too impressed. I give that 2 stars. (I wont go into detail)Stripping lug nuts and taking metal hammers to aluminum parts are rookie mistakes. Come on Anderson!But Bob in the service department....that guy is the nicest guy Ive ever dealt with. I highly recommend him. Had issues with the service department and he was quick to take care of it and make me happy. He deserves a 5 star review by himself and thats still not saying enough. I did a lot of research on the availability of various vehicles that were out on the market and I found one in particular that I was interested in on Andersons website. The price on the car was really good and I felt that the vehicle was exactly what my family was looking for. The salesman that greeted us seemed very nice. I gave him the stock number for the van that I was looking for and he came back to me with a price that was +$5000 more than the price I saw online. The sales manager came out and said they would work with me, but he still offered me a price that was $2500 more than the website pricing.Despite the incorrect pricing, my husband and I decided to test drive the vehicle. They had problems locating the vehicle so we waited a significant amount of time for them to bring the vehicle to us. Another person immediately test drove the vehicle after us, and unfortunately for me (completely my fault for not closing the deal)... they beat us to the punch.I took the day off of work so that I could shop around and go to several different dealerships. I felt that basically my whole day was wasted trying to work out a deal with these people. Good luck to anyone trying to work with them.

Left car with service all day for warranty item. Had to call for info. I was told a part had been ordered and she had tried calling me all day. Now, everyone knows a cell phone records all incoming calls, so that was an untruth. I had left the vehicle the eve before stating Id appreciate a response at a time I could establish a possible ride to work. I then had to call 2 wks later to see if the part had come in. I wonder how long that part would have sat there.

Have brought my 2014 Jeep Patriot to the service department 5 separate times since September of 2018 for over heating issue. The first time it was a thermostat, which they fixed. Six weeks later overheated again. They topped the fluid and said it was a bubble in the line. Six weeks later happened again. Same thing, added fluid, claimed bubble. Fourth trip, wash, rinse, repeat. On the 5th trip and much skepticism on my part, they found a pin hole leak in the radiator. Sure enough, 6 weeks later, over heats again. I would bet my jeep that it is a head gasket, that was comprised the first time it over heated, and since they make less money doing warranty work, they won’t properly diagnose the issue, and getting them out of doing the job. They are either incompetent or they are in on the scheme, either way they are out.

Nothing to write home about since we just went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Staff was friendly and polite, didnt wait too terrible long, and the lounge was adequate. Had coffee and snacks for us while we waited, comfy chairs, and even a little bar to eat our snacks at. They did have a really cool charging station but we didnt see it till we were leaving

He explained all of the equipment to me and how it operated. The business staff was top notch and explained all of the paperwork to be signed and answered any questions I had. Ive been taking my vehicle to Anderson Dodge Chrysler Jeep since I purchased my Jeep about 4 years ago. I recommend seeing Jamison. He is very friendly, and always gives me updates on the repairs, time frame, and costs. There are never surprises in estimates versus the actual repair, which is great from a consumer stand point. Bonus is that they offer shuttle service. So if your time is limited, you can drop your car and they will give you a ride to a destination and pick you up when your car is ready.

Ive had many cars and therefore many car buying experiences. This was one of the best Ive ever had. The staff from the Sales person, Sales Manager and Finance guy were all great to deal with. When trying to decide they offered me the opportunity to fully experience the vehicle before making my decision. This was a huge factor in my end buying decision. Highly recommend them if youre looking for one of the vehicles they sell. I also highly recommend going to them if youre considering a Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Land Rover or any other European brands. Those were some of the other vehicles I was considering and at the end of the day, the combination of the vehicle and the dealership were every bit as good as those other options. I expect when spending this kind of money to have a top notch experience and they delivered!

Brought in my Chrysler 300C for service. Charged me $400+ for a wire harness REPAIR and not a replacement. Then I needed more REPAIRS for pretty much the same thing when I got to the shop. Talked to him over the phone before the Service was done and he told me that they will have to wait for the part to come to the shop, so I thought it was a replacement. If you’re going to do any service to your vehicle there make sure you’re present at the shop and have them explain everything they’re going to do before they do any services, they will lie to you over the phone.

I purchased a van here about two years ago and have felt very pleased with it. In April, it was in an accident and when I got it back from a different body shop on May something wasnt right with the door. I called the other place right away and they told me nothing was wrong. So, I took my van here and they were able to be the second opinion for the insurance. They repaired my door after inspecting my vehicle in a little over an hour. I was very happy. I also didnt know they have a collision center. I would have insisted that the repairs happened here if I did. Hopefully, we will not have to deal with anymore collisions but if we do this is the place to go.

Im happy with my service at Anderson. It would be nice if when scheduling service appointments they pointed out they you can find coupons for discounts on the service you need. I didnt have a coupon when arriving, but printed one from internet by the time I pick upped up my car.. I believe the coupon for an oil change included a tire rotation, but not having it earlier and scheduling for rotation they didnt have time.....well, thats on me for not being prepared. Again, I think informing patrons ahead on time would be very helpful! All in all Im very happy with Anderson!!

Update: I was contacted by an Anderson representative and he went above and beyond to rectify the problem even so much as to have a local shop take care of the issue with the vehicle! Great communication very caring individual! It was truly a pleasure to work with him. Service like this would make me drive 90 miles again to visit this jeep dealership! Thanks again Bob.I bought a very nice 2010 Jeep liberty from them, however there were a few issues with this vehicle and they failed to stand behind the repairs. Customer service is everything nowadays and you will not find it here once they get your money. We drove 90 miles to buy the vehicle and I guarantee you they were banking that we would never come back to claim any repairs, many attempts to contact our sales team were made the only response being we will check on that and get back to you which they never did.Anderson - Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram. Internet Salesman John was great but always had to defer to Josh a lot salesman whom we met with and did paperwork who never would get back to us!

So I saw a car online that I liked and called them that I was interested in buying it, and they told me that they would have the car ready for me to test drive it, and when I got there they tell me that it was already sold. Now, I dont know why they didnt know this before I drove all the way there and wasted my time. They tried talking me into buying another car but they didnt even try to work on the price for me after the mistake they made. Well, their loss because I got a better car for a better price somewhere else.
