Great staff and great selection! One of my favorite stores!

I would consider Harbor Freight as a store to purchase mainly disposal tools. Their tools are not the quality that will stand up to heavy constant use. Tools that are costly and only used occasionally may work for the buyer. I have also found many tools ( mainly air) not to have the power of quality tools. For items that usually quickly worn or used lightly Harbor Freight may be the best buy. High quality, top performance, and durable tools are not what buyers will find at Harbor Freight.

Went in to buy a engine for a dirt bike they were quick to get the product and it was reasonable for it to be brand new

Good place to buy tools. I dont like their 30 % of that it is not in every item and only in less than 10 items. So paying 30 $ for discount that doesnt pay for it self ...

The staff was helpful but very low on inventory,was lucky to get the last one of what is normally stocked

If you needs tool while youre at the Harbor, they cant help because there is no harbor here.... But if you plan ahead this is a good place to get a good value on tools.

We always stop by Harbor Freight when in Rockford, and usually find some tool or accessories for the family handy man!

At Harbor Freight I can always get what I need. Tools, jack, jack stands, & on down to flash lights or zip ties.

Decent place to buy tools and such. My best friend shops here all the time. Didnt have exactly what I wanted but had a very wide selection of similar items. Nice people and clean place as well. Definitely recommend.

Great tools but the customer service could have been a little better I asked 3 workers about an item and got 3 answers..and noone could actually SHOW me where it was just an isle number and pointed....I had enough and left...I guess I should be grateful they left the front office to help at all

This one is cleaner than the other one in Rockford. I spend a good amount of time here window shopping but be careful almost everything is made in China. Lots of told t for decent prices. They are good with returns and making sure you are satisfied.

Got there 5 mins past 7 needing something to hold up a cars muffler in a asap emergency dint even let me explain how I was in such said emergency told me they where closed then walked away from the door

I really dont like harbor freight tools but when you need something in a pinch even if its a once used this is probably one of the better stores that I went to good management organized clean but definitely stay out of the one in Flint that is a ghetto nasty waste of time

I love trips to harbor freight as do my kids. I like this location because the staff are much more knowledgeable as to where stuff is located. They never know at the Riverside location. They were very helpful and friendly. Ive had no issues with their tools although I normally buy hand tools because I get all my larger power tools as gifts.

Every time I visit this store, Im greeted within 5 minutes, & guided with finding the items I need. This store has the most friendly staff, and all HF stores are great, already. :-) The place is always clean, well organized, & the crew are honest to the point that if they arent 100% sure of an answer, theyll say so, then get the manager to help with advice or find the item in question. I can respect when a person says they ....dont know more than a person who tries to BS me. The staff here are honest, and really helpful in whatever youre looking for or need advice about.

Buy a lot of stuff here if you work outside they have a new insulated Brady work glove they are great! They do a better job of keeping your hands warm but still give you the flexability that a lot work work gloves dont. You have to to try them!

This location is new If you have never been to a Harbor freight you will be amazed at the items they have. The prices are often exceptionally low and in some cases the quality of the items is not exactly the same the item they are comparing themselves too, you do get what you pay for most of the time. But, if you need a special tool they are a great place to check out. Get their coupons because they always have some free items. The employees will typically try and help you find the best prices and make the most of the available discounts and coupon deals.

Needed some help finding a few items. This very friendly lady associate took me all around and helped me with my list. Saved me alot of time and she was so nice👍

Called ahead to make sure they had what I needed, since I live somewhat far away. Was told it was in stock. Get there 40 mins later and the item is not in stock, I was told by a very rude girl that they couldn’t order one for me, and I would have to drive to another store in Loves Park if I wanted it. Didn’t even bother to say sorry. Also she wasn’t even wearing a mask and was shoving cookies in her mouth the entire time she was talking to me. Incredibly unprofessional and I won’t be back. This was my first time here... never again.

Thank God this place exist. Couldnt get any jaw pullers for a tire job under $60. This place had a setof 3 for way less! Dont forget your %20 off coupon!!

Very affordable tools and very consistently laid out and clean. They had water pumps Im display and they literally rotate so you can look at every angle of them. Thats an amazing way to display items. They always have coupons and freebies too which is never a bad thing!

Stop being rude when I state no thank you, when asked for my phone number, as there is one cashier who cannot let that go! I liked the store a lot until this guy! When the CEO Eric Smidt gives me his home number, I will give you mine!

They had almost everything that I went in to get. But, they were out of stock of 1 item. Ill have to go back to get it another day. Great prices though. Ok quality.

Standard store, but the manager more than makes up for any shortcomings. She has went above and beyond with customer service issues Ive had, I cant complement her enough.

Store is in a convenient location. Store is clean and well organized. I needed help and had to search the entire Store to find an employee. When I found him he was very helpful.

They have a wide selection for anything car related. Also home improvement and miscellaneous stuff. Staff has been a hit or miss. Some are excellent and greet you with upper respect. Some are just gossiping and looks like they hate their life. service is great overall. Especially when the Owner/ store manager is present. He’s always busy moving around but will ask you if you need assistance. Their warranty is decent and pricing. I highly recommend this place to any dyi type of people

By far a better store than the one in loves park. The rockford store usually has all items in stock and the people working there are way more helpful than at the loves park store. Even though this is a farther drive for me i always just head to rockford now. Just a better store in my opinion

1st time in this location and its great! Seems to be larger than the N2nd Street location and more well lit inside. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Got the cargo carrier I needed which was good quality at an unbeatable price!

The only thing that I have run in to is the computer system seems to pick the tool for 20&25% discount coupon. Not the tool I had intended to use the discount at time of purchase. Other than that use all the tools from Harbor freight!

The utilitarian nature of this store and its products speak to me. For tools that dont need to be of high quality due to limited use, its frequently a better deal to buy cheaper equipment. Personally Im not convinced that brand name great is always worth the brand name price.

This is a man toy store so if youre looking for your man hes at the store

This place is great! Was there 11-03-18 for the first time and theyre pretty great, they let you try out the tools before you buy and make you laugh so its not weird talking to strangers.

Had purchased a winch with a 2 year warranty and their computer system showed that we returned it, which we havent.Now they want me to purchase a new one at $399.00Plus another warranty@$99.00Will never purchase from these incompetent stores again

Terrible experience. Bought a hitch, tried to get a free tape measure with my coupon. Didnt have the tape measure in stock. Manager says they will be in on Monday. So I ask, if I come back and show this receipt can I come back and get the free tape measure. No he says not without another purchase. Can he sub something else? No. So I say Ill go buy the hitch at the Riverside store. Call there. Theyre out of hitch, nnone in stock. Cashier and I figure out that I can drag the hitch back with the receipt on Monday, return it, rebuy it and get my free tape measure. Way to much hassle. Manager should have just given me a similar tape measure and taken care of the customer. Or even easier, handed Me a tape measure on Monday if I came back. Would give zero or negative stars if possible.

I love there stuff. Its cheap but good quality. You can find loads of bargains.
