We went into the Rocklin Armory not really knowing what we wanted. Spencer helped us from the very beginning and was very knowledgeable and professional. He helped us with the purchase of two firearms, ammunition, and accessories. I will definitely be going back soon!

After moving back here from Kenai Alaska, I wasnt sure about the new gun restrictions in California. Rocklin Armory made for a smooth sale. Yes, it seemed like it took forever and I wasnt used to such restrictions of freedom, but it was possible. Thanks for my new .38 S&W Hammerless revolver.

Excellent service and knowledgeable staff! They carry a lot of guns including rifles and handguns. They have a good selection of LE pistols and used guns as well. They know their stuff on all aspects of building custom firearms as well. Very easy to find a gun shop, but very hard to find one that you can trust!

Incredible!! I was replacing the handguard on my ar15 from the moe with the a2 front sight to a troy industries vtac rail and i did not have the correct size punch for the gas tube roll pin. I called rocklin armory and there gunsmith Don said he could take care of it no problem. When i got there Don greeted me right away and took me to his bench. I threw a curve ball at him and also brought my upper to see if ge could remove the barrel nut as well and was not phased. Turned out though that my gas block was so caked in carbon that it had seized the gas tube inside and made it a pain to get it out. Again not phased and eventually after some elbow grease got it out and attached to my new low pro. The Don turned to the barrel nut and that was also torqued way over spec and was a bear to get off but after some assistance from a co worker also got it off. But here is where the incredible comes in. Don doesnt just take my upper and throw it back together, he takes the extra step to re blue all the tool marks that accured (which will happen anytime u work on your firearms with steel tools). While i was watching him work i also took the opportunity to pick his brain a little bit. I had some upper and lower wabble and Don introduced me to the accu wedge which eliminates the wabble. Bottom line Don is extreamly knowledgeable and knows his stuff. But what sets this shop over the top to me is the attention to detail. Customer for life!

I have called this place at least 6 times within the last 2 weeks. I’ve called on different days and at different times throughout the day. They have NEVER picked up the phone once. So I go to their Facebook page to ask a question. They delete my question without ever giving me a response. I understand that guns are in high demand eight now but every other gun shop I’ve called has picked up their phone to answer my questions. I guess Rocklin Armory doesn’t need my business and they probably don’t want yours either.FYI, these guys are listed as FFL. If you’re going to use them for that purpose, good luck getting in touch with them for your transaction. It ain’t happening.

I cant say enough good things about this store. I emailed them with a question about an item Id been looking for that was sold out everywhere else I had checked. The owner emailed me back the same day and said they had the item in stock and would put my name on it. I made the 1 hour drive the next day. When I walked in the store I was greeted by the employees right away. They were helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The selection of firearms was more than I expected for it being a smaller store. The amount of accessorie items were plentiful and they had things in stock that have been hard to find elsewhere. Several first time gun buyers came in while I was in there and I could tell that they were extremely happy with the service they were getting as so was I. It was well worth the drive for me ro receive this kind of service. I will not hesitate to make this trip here anytime I need anything. Thank you Rocklin Armory!

I have visited this store a couple time in the past year. Every visit has been awesome. Staff has always been super helpful and give great advise. I have never felt pressured to buy anything. Every employee I have worked with at this store has help me find what best fits me and what I liked. They all seem to be very knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend this location for any and all gun related needs

This place is a great shop, the guys here are very helpful and knowledgeable. They dont stand behind the counter with their arms folded. They have Operator Coffee and many other products. I enjoy coming here and they even do lay away.

I am all for supporting small businesses, especially when they are local. And, I understand their prices will typically be higher than web prices, this is to be expected. With that being said, Rocklin Armory in generally way over priced. Still, I have purchased from them in the past.On my last experience - Absolutely sub-par customer service. After purchasing the wrong product (they sold it to me as a different item) and three trips to the store in 1 hour, the manager finally confirmed they did not have the right product in stock. Never offered to order the correct item at a discounted price for my troubles. It may be subjective - but this store is trash. I will never shop here again, and never recommend to anyone.Also, their employees have beginner knowledge, especially on tactical items. Its amusing, yet scary. If I could give a negative rating, I would.

Rocklin Armory is one of those small businesses where the owner is around and happy to talk to you, the staff remembers you, and you feel welcome every time you go in. I ONLY do business here, regardless of if they are the cheapest or not. In fact, I couldnt even tell you. I love this place and the staff is awesome! Ill continue to do all my business here.

I stopped in here right before moving to California from Ohio I stopped in to get some information on some guns that I owned that were purchased in Ohio while living there was told by a gentleman there that I would not be able to bring my guns back because they were not on the list so I sold them just to find out after moving back to California that I could have brought them back to California as long as I change the magazine and fill out a new Resident report of firearm ownership within 30 days I am beyond livid at the moment since these were some of my favorite guns I have ever owned and got rid of them for NO REASON other than being told misinformation if someone is helping customers they need to be up to date on all laws and regulations if I could put zero Stars I would

Over price, salesman rush me while I was still asking him questions. He went to help his buddy instead of finishing my purchased. He told me my carbine came with a magazine but when I pick up, it never have a magazine. Me being a new gun owner, they just wanted to sell me something fast n make there money. Yes, I didn’t do my research n got lie to buy a gun. When I check other gun shop, the same gun went new for 70% of what I pay. I would not recommend this gun shop to anyone. I‘m very disappointed in this purchase but I guess I learn my lesson from a shop that con good citizen.

Im a gun noob but had a pretty interesting experience here. But overall good. Employees are great and very helpful.Went in to see if I could get my hands on a Mossberg Shockwave. I loved the raptor grip and short barrel.Had a brief conversation with the owner at first. He said that the Mossberg Shockwaves are not CA legal and we couldnt order one.OK, no problem. Went through and purchased a Mossberg 590M instead.Came back in 10 days to pick up the 590M.Guess what was sitting up there on display for sale?Yes, thats right. A Mossberg Shockwave.Guy behind the counter asked if I wanted to buy it.LOL.

Most helpful and friendly place Ive been to in the greater sacramento area. They have superior knowledge of guns, and will take there time to explain all of your questions. The store is well stocked with all of your shooting needs. I will be shopping there often, even though there are many shops closer to me.

Rocklin is a city that is starting to grow up with a population of just under 60k in 2013.They have alot of big city stores popping up yet still seems to keep the small city charm.There seems to be no shortages of good restaurants. And my favorite part, 2 armories just mere blocks from each other.

Went in with my husband, excited to have another gun store locally. Was greeted by a nice gentleman interested in learning about our gun ownership. When he asked if there was something in particular we were looking for I asked if they had a pink sling for my AR-15, I was told no, then I asked if they carried CCW purses. That was when the otherwise mute male behind the register told me that after they break your arm in the purse snatch your gun wont do you much good in your purse! I then asked if they had an in the waistband holster that was comfortable for a fat girl! Again he became mute. If this is the kind of service that they want to provide the largest growing segment of their business then I expect their doors to not be open long.I will be happy to continue to shop at the Gun Vault and at Wild Sports because they value women as legitimate gun owners.

Went there few months back looking for magazines for a sig sp2022. They where verry friendly one of the gentleman behind the counter even searched pegs for the magazine. Wasnt there(the magazines werent organized they just hung a bunch of random ones so we had to look sift threw)so the gentleman said hey you know what ill order some and give you a call he takes down my number and writes down my name.... and nothing im giving them a 3 star because their store is a mess and no follow up on a product they said they would order. Honestly if they werent so polite they would get a 1 star in my book

Without a doubt my favorite gun store in the state. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable patriots with backgrounds in law enforcement and military service. They are helpful, competent, and always make me feel welcome. They also have given me good advice in customizing my long guns. The last time I went in to buy a gun, my little girl was with me. Terry was being generous, and my girl left with a free swag bag with stickers, patches, keychains, flashlight, etc. She was giddy. Ive bought several guns from Rocklin Armory, holsters, gun lights, slings, accessories, etc. Every time has been a very positive experience. Additionally, their FFL transfer fee is the most competitive Ive seen in the state. I cant account for the negative reviews here, but can only assume they are hiccups common with what is still a new business.

I went into this store after purchasing a H&K USP 9mm at a competitor to look for holsters. Unfortunately they did not carry one in stock but did take the time to order it for me and it arrived in a timely manner. The problem I have with this place is that they just dont seam customer oriented, I never felt welcome especially by the co owner Walter. Just didnt seem like a people person. I take all my firearm needs to GUN VAULT. They are extremely helpful, friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. Sorry Rocklin Armory, you just dont cut it for me.

The staff at Rocklin armory are great...and they have great competitive prices..also they have a consignment section where locals can sell there firearms as well pretty cool..just picked up a glock .40 compact 27.from that section...thank you

Staff did not communicate with each other. Purchased a glock custom holster that was suppose to be finished in 5-7 days, the manager told me. Did not get my customer hokster till 4 weeks later. One women called me during the 2 week period with the wrong glock holster and wrong name. I thought it was comical because when I called back they had no idea I even purchased a custom glock holster. It seemed like they did not even know what a holster was for that matter. I was suprised that the manager did not intervene or apologize all he said is, man some one really dropped the ball on this. Again I laughed, if you want some good laughs and very poor customer service go to Rocklin Armory. I will never go back to Rocklin Armory to buy any fire arm or fire arm accessories.
