This store has gotten better over time. I dont necessarily buy tools from here, but I do find the accessories to get the jobs done. Prices have increased on some items since the pandemic, are as expected certain items(from china) are hard to come by or have in stock. Overall the service has improved too.

When you need tools last minute to absolutely get your job done with blatant disregard for safety or long term use, this is THE spot! Good selection of just about everything, Staff is really nice. Prices are very low, but you get what you pay for. Everything from air Compressors to car Jacks have broke within months of purchase here, but in a pinch, you gotta do what you gotta do. Very good selection of air hoses and connectors too!

Went in for a certain item being discontinued and were all out but the employees went beyond and i was able to acquire one a week later!! That is customer service and very appreciated one too!! Good job 👍

Great selection of tools at great prices. Can you buy better, sure but the low cost of the Harbor freight tools have served me well!

The staff is super friendly and helpful every time we go in! Josh and Heather are the best and go above and beyond. I forgot the other two gentlemans names that helped us load our 4 carts fulls of stuff into our truck, but they were super helpful and friendly as well. We will definitely be back to this location.

I am a big fan of Harbor Freight. This location in Roseville is on par with any of the others I have been to. Broad brush-Harbor Freight is doing what Sam Walton did in the 1970s. Fill up the counters and peg hooks with reliable products that arent necessarily household brand names. The selection is somewhat limited, but out of stocks just do not happen.The return policy is generous, the warranty program extremely favorable towards the buyer. I have on occasion purchased the warranty on a few expensive items, and have to use it twice. Both times I got sorry for the problem, go grab a replacement. Or words to that affect. One of the items was a freaking log splitter! And that was a coin flip on whether or not it was actually my own fault. The prices are outstanding and the rewards club is also worth the effort.Honestly, 6 stars out of 5.

The prices are amazing. Maybe too amazing. The offering is generally low-to-medium quality tools. I was able to reasonably fix up my truck due to the bargains available. There is a large selection of specialty automotive tools. The online catalog seems to be fairly accurate; so I know its in stock before I go.

Pretty much always able to get what I need there. Dad wanted a new pitch fork for father day....so off I went. Quick and easy and back on my way.

I went to harbor freight today. They didnt have what I wanted they were out. But Alex at the Citrus Heights store found out they did have it at the Rockland store and wrote down all the information for me made it very easy for me. Great customer service Alex. Way to go

Harbor freight kinda is what it is. Cheap tools at bargain prices with very limited choices. This location off Fairway in Roseville has some of the friendliest and helpful cashiers of any of the dozen locations I have been too.

If you are mechanically inclined..no better place to go. Great service all you will need one convenient place.

The overall quality of tools at HF has increased steadily over the past 25 years but they still cater to the budget-minded shade tree mechanic. You used to find better deals but now almost ALL of the good stuff is exempt from their famous coupons - something that has driven at least $20k worth of my business towards higher quality competitors due to price point approaching similar territory. That being said, this location usually has decent stock; knowledgeable staff; and a relaxed atmosphere even though the employees get super busy at times. Ample parking.Only thing I would change is they should post a sign or have customers sign an acknowledgement that if you have to return anything with a gas engine, it must be drained DRY of all fluids. This is probably written somewhere, and its most likely the law, but having it posted in a prominent spot would be helpful on the rare occasion it applies.Hint to Corporate.... bring back the old days of allowing the 20% coupon on any single item (instead of exempting nearly all brands), and your customers will spend more money ! It is blatantly obvious that the name brand products are re-labeled stuff from the same manufacturers (yes, I have verified this by emailing the chinese corporations in the past). This tactic allows them to be exempted from the coupons and drives up margins without a quality bump. Other predominantly American brands tried this years ago and theyre not doing well these days. Stick with what works?

My experience was good bought their electric lawnmower. Person was great in explaining it to me. I gave 4 star, because it was alittle light on team members.

This place is great fir almost everything you need, prices are great. Not professional grade but the quality has never been an issue for anything Ive purchased here. Caution though. Many customers arent wearing masks. Time your trip right and its not an issue if not crowded.

This location is tucked away in a corner parking lot, every time I have been there all the workers have been super friendly and helpful, todays visit was not a exception. I usually go in for 1 thing and walk out with a couple of other things.

Kyle (cashier at HF) is a very rude person. I saw him berate a customer over not waiting to be called to the register (covid rule) although there was some confusion between the two registers. When the customer decided not to buy the item Kyle told the customer not to come back.Every time I go into the store Kyle is rude, he acts like he is mad at the world.Im glad Im not Kyle!

Medium customer crowd on Friday, November 13th in the early afternoon. One register open meant 8 people in front of me waiting to check out and no one around to tell me where things were. I did find things eventually and prices were as good as usual, including a drill press for $70 and a 2 axis slide vice for $75. The staff didnt mind my 65 pound dog, so Id say theyre pet friendly.

Good place to get specialty tools for rare usage. Many of their products are lower quality than alternatives. However for many things they offer decent products at low prices. Would not recommend buying hand/automotive tools or power tools here.

Good store, low prices on almost everything. Customer service has always been good at this location, and at Harbor Freight stores in general, in my experience.

This location is kept up nicely. Its always seems busy but never over crowded. 99% of the time I can find what I came to purchase.

So I came here with my 6 year old son to buy car ramps so I could do an oil change in my car. I called ahead and was told they had 7 sets in stock. The employee I talked to told me they would pull one set and set them aside.I arrived and waited in line that went to the back of the store. We waited about 45 minutes. I got to the register and was told they were out of car ramps. I asked the cashier why they would tell me they set a set aside only to have me come all the way from El Dorado County to get them. The cashier had no answer for me. No apologies no nothing.Lesson learned dont call ahead and believe they will set something aside when they tell you they will. I wont be back to this location. Waste of time and only two people working during this visit.

Place was busy. Not enough checkers (3). Line went to back of store. 45-60 minute wait to check out. Walked out without buying anything. Wanted just a bag of bungies and a battery powered hand saw. Maybe someother time.

Good place to find most small parts and tools. Not necessarily tool bag quality but stuff to have at home and all the little stuff that home depot charges an arm and leg for.

Tons and tons of cheap, one use stuff.

I love this particular Harbor Frieght, why you ask? Because staff goes out of their way to help you and even has a coupon here and there if you forget yours.

Harbor Freight is well known to be inexpensive pricing where you get what you pay for. Some items are worth purchasing, and many will give you one or two uses before you have issues. As long as you are aware of what you are getting, it is hard to go wrong. Sometimes you just buy three of an item so you can get the job done and you save money over buying the expensive tool that will last a lot longer than you need. I’m usually surprised by how many people are there when I’m trying to check out though.

Good for basic tools at good prices. The store is nicely laid out and always clean. They always have great specials and coupons for free stuff. You can get really cheap things here but dont expect it to be equivalent to the higher price versions... which is to be expected.

Started using the app for coupons which is great considering I lose clipped coupons but at the time using them a line forms behind me with unimpatient customers as most of the time theirs only one cashier working.. need at least two cashiers to keep the line moving.. Other than that I love the selection of affordable tools and definitely the free items..

You can buy tools here less expensively than renting tools at Home Depot. Ive bought many and expensive items Ive needed for jobs. Tools that cost 60 to $70 at Lowes or Home Depot are less than $19 here. And last quite a while. I would only not recommend you buy saw blades or drill bits here as they are cheap and wear out very fast. Cheap tools, great prices, good products.
