Granite Works did a marvelous job with our townhomes kitchen and bath renovation. We had a set budget and were quite unsure how much value for our money we would get when working with contractors (first time). Their estimating process was seamless, and although not the cheapest estimates we got, their portfolio and reassurance gave us the confidence to proceed with them, given the quality of their work shown. They guided us through the process from design to picking out finishes and completed the project on time. As an aside, I also appreciate the post-job follow-up from the owner. Weve since moved across the country, and we have consulted with them on future projects remotely. He was kind enough to offer remote design consultations from his company. I value excellent customer service, and the fact it does not stop when were no longer paying customers speaks volumes. This high-touch approach makes it relatively easy for me to recommend Granite Works, and I look forward to using them for future projects in the Baltimore area.

Granite works removed our granite cap and installed a beautiful breakfast bar for us! They were quick to respond, came out twice to measure and ensure the new piece matched the existing granite and install was completed within 2 hours. Great experience and highly recommend!

I HIGHLY recommend Granite Works!! They made a huge difference in the way my project was completed. I visited their showroom and walked their entire inventory of countertops slabs and cabinet options. I selected the exact countertop slab and cabinets that I wanted. The very next day, they came out and measured the space in my property and gave me advice about how to maximize countertop space based on my kitchens layout. Within a few days, they sent over complete 3D designs and a floorplan diagram comfirmimg that every cabinet I wanted would fit nicely in the space. They delivered everything and handled the entire installation directly. Their prices were reasonable and the quality of their pwork was top-tier! The team was very professional, and on-time. My wife and I absolutely love the results for our kitchen. Just awesome.

Overall an excellent job for a small kitchen: Quartz counter tops/white Shaker cabinets/Porcelain tile. It took a while to get the cabinets in due to the manufacture of the cabinets were very strict about observing Jewish holidays which appeared to occur more than once during the month of September. Office staff pleasant to work with. I would recommend them to others who are seeking a kitchen remodel.

I had a few issues, but every time they responded like humans and worked with me to a happy solution. I felt like I was in good hands. Counters turned out great, very happy with them.

So be wary of their estimates. If there are any structural supports needed (e.g. over a dishwasher or any open space), the estimate will go up significantly as they dont do that work themselves. Also other costs that could have been anticipated (like a replacement sink) were not in the original estimate. They went from being my lowest bidder to my highest by the time it was done. Finally, there were a few anomalies in the install. They were friendly though, and the time to order and install were quick.

I just completed both my house and my Dental office with Granite Works. From the beginning till the end they were extremely professional and courteous. They worked with my architects and project manager very efficiently. They were very accommodating with my office project - they had to measure and cut the counter tops quicker than normal. It turned out beautiful. Our home has he biggest island Ive ever seen and they were able to use one slab and no seams. It looks gorgeous. Everyone who visits us complements us on it. I am very pleased with my granite countertops. I had a great experience from the time I walked in the door. Tina was very helpful. The prices were reasonable and the work was excellent, from the measurements to the installation.

I would have liked to be able to write some sort of review for them because I heard they did good work. I was referred to them to have new counters installed in my kitchen. We went to their show room and my wife picked out a product she liked. They came and measured my kitchen counters, then nothing. A month later and we never heard anything from them. Text messages, e-mails, and phone calls have all gone unanswered. Never got a quote of any sort or any indication they were interested in doing the work. Im going to assume my small kitchen with its small counter tops wasnt enough work for them. We cant all have 300 square feet of kitchen counters.

I had a great experience with this company. My husband was first skeptical by using them because one of his friends recommended a different company near granite works showroom. So we visited both fabricators at the same day heading first for the one my husband want to use. They had a good material selection in stock and good prices too, but the first impression interacting with the sales person was not very impressive. Then we went to Granite Works, which have a much nicer showroom and the staff was soooooo nice from the very beginning. I was able to pick the right granite color out of their yard and actually added two vanities to the project from their super affordable remnants options. Well, the other parts of the process went just smooth as the first visit to the showroom and now I have a beautiful kitchen, two gorgeous bathrooms and a husband that still loves me after spending more in this project than we have planned for. I had my kitchen countertops replaced by Granite Works and they did a great job and Im really happy with how it turned out. I didnt know anything about the types of countertops or how the process worked and they made it very easy. They answered all my questions and had the new countertops installed so quickly. They look great! Everyone was really helpful and professional and I highly recommend them!

After visiting multiple showrooms, we found exactly what we needed at Granite Works. The selection is excellent and the price was very reasonable. Gus is easy to work with, professional and goes out of his way to get you what you want - in our case, securing the quartzite we wanted with only two slabs left from his supplier. We had a slight problem in installation and Gus came out and made sure to get it corrected asap. I would highly recommend them - I love our new countertops.

It was wonderful to be able to go and physically look at different granite slabs. I brought a cabinet door and a paint sample with me so that I could be sure my selection would match my kitchen finishes. Bruno was amazing to work with as he helped me through the entire selection process. I actually upgraded my sink to the Blanco composite sink based upon Brunos suggestion, which I couldnt be happier with! The installation was surprisingly quick, the installers were respectful of my home, and they left no mess behind. I would highly recommend Granite Works to anyone who is looking to make the step to granite countertops. They made the process simple and the results are spectacular!

I purchased JSI cabinets(all wood) from GraniteWorks for my basement bar/kitchenette and I must say that it was the worst decision I made for this project. The cabinets did arrive on time; however one cabinet was missing and has yet to arrive. On closer inspection, an incorrect cabinet was delivered. The cabinet that was ordered had a drawer with cabinet space below, while the delivered cabinet had no drawer. This was important to the design because of the limited drawer space. The salesperson told me that the cabinet in the original contract was not available. In addition, I ordered decorative panels for the outside of the bar. When they were inspected several of them had chipping paint, another had a large crack that extended through both sides of the panel. When I brought these issues up to the salesperson, I was told that I was aware that I had purchased cabinets that were not top of the line. While this is true, I did not know that I should expect these issues on arrival. As for the incorrect cabinet, I was told that there was no compensation that could be offered. For the chipped/cracked decorative panels, I asked for a refund; however, to date, I’ve only been offered a partial refund. Customer service at Granite Works is lousy and their stock cabinets are lousy.

After visiting numerous granite companies looking for the perfect slab for our kitchen island, we found it at Granite Works. Their price seemed reasonable, Karoline was a pleasure to work with, and the result is gorgeous!

Outstanding service and very reasonable price for quartz repair.I dropped a fork onto, what I thought was an unbreakable, quartz coffee table leaving a small chip. I looked around for a repair person and was ultimately directed to Gus at Granite Works and I could not be happier that I was. I first contacted him by email with a photo of the chipped quartz coffee table. We had a few emails back and forth and eventually settled on a time that was convenient for me that he would come out. Gus drove from Rockville to Ellicott City, arrived on time and fixed my coffee table in under 30 minutes all for under 1/3 of what other folks wanted. Gus is a total pro. If I ever had need for repair of quartz or granite in the future I would not hesitate to call Granite Works first.

We had a great experience purchasing a quartz countertop at Granite Works. We went early on a Sunday morning and Tina assisted us in finding a remanent (our space is very small). She was knowledgable, courteous and very low pressure. We purchased the remanent that day and also ordered a sink and tiles for our backsplash. From the process of purchase to installation (or delivery of the backsplash tiles), both Tina and Layla were communicative and easy to work with. On the day of installation, the installers called us 15 minutes before they arrived to let us know they were on their way. According to my husband, the installation was quick and efficient. Overall, the service at Granite Works was fantastic. We had a lot of mishaps with our kitchen renovation but our experience with Granite works had none and was the one part of the process that was easy and went as planned. I highly recommend Granite works for countertops or other needs for your kitchen. We would definitely use them again!!

I can finally share my experience about my recent kitchen renovation. Ive first heard about Granite Works from a neighbor and the feedback was impressive, almost too good to be true. I went there first and met with Gus. He was very courteous and i could see he had the experience. I was having a hard time to select a granite color (I ended up with a quartz) so i decided to take my time and shop around a bit... now, my first piece of advice; if youre an older lady, dont go to some other shops around the Rockville area. I went to 3 places and in every single one of them i had either a bad experience (rudeness) or no experience at all (walk by a showroom for 30 minutes without being noticed). I even tried a place in Gaithersburg, but I felt pressured to buy something i didnt like from the moment i walked in, so i decide to go back to Granite Works.Gus wasnt there, so Tina, probably the sweetest person Ive ever worked with, helped me. We talked a bit about my preferences and I mentioned I was even considering replacing my old cabinets, but i was sure I could not afford it. Well, it so happens I was mistaken...Tina promptly worked on a cabinet and quartz quote, based on my bad kitchen drawings and to my surprise, the cost was less than I expected. Now, my second piece of advice, if youre making any big purchase, dont fall for any salesperson pressure! Ive made some bad mistakes in life under pressure and i surely appreciated that neither Gus and Tina put ANY pressure on me, at any point. That alone, is worth this review. Also, I must say, im not the fastest decision maker, and Tina patience was extremely welcome. I decide for a white shaker cabinet, nothing fancy, but really elegant and a marble like quartz. The whole process was smooth and everything happened according to plan, besides a small chip during top installation, which their installers, also very polite and quite funny, pointed out and fixed. Needless to say Im extremely satisfied with Granite Works and will strongly recommend them to everyone I know.Thank you Tina and Gus! Ill be back for my master bath.

Unfortunately we didnt get to replace our kitchen cabinets, but their granite countertops have beaultiful clean cut edges and is perfectly installed. They started and finished as promissed and very efficiently. Would definitely recomend to anyone looking into renew their kitchen or bathroom. Well deserved 5 stars, thank you Granite Works

My wife was looking for a new countertop for our recently purchased TH. So we went together to Graniteworks to check it out. We really appreciated the material and the prices, and Gustavo even made a very good deal so we closed it. Soon after he contacted me to schedule the delivery. Since I had some past experiences with some other granite companies, honestly it wouldn’t be a surprise to me if they had rescheduled, but that was not the case. The installers showed up on time with the countertop.At this point my wife and I decided to change one of the cabinets which had no drawer. I discussed that matter with the installer and he “walked way beyond the second and third mile” to help us do that. Even helping us in emptying the old cabinet, installing the new one and disposing the old one. All of that was not part of his job and he could have simply rescheduled the service until I had things ready for him to simply come and install the tops. The two installers were very professionals and not just that but friendly too!The bottom line is, we are super happy and grateful with the final result.At this point we were super excited about our new kitchen!Not being enough, when the plumber of the company came to reinstall everything, we told him our new dish washer was not draining, another plumber had come and didnt fix it, so weve been hand washing our dishes ever since. So Graniteworks plumber resolved the issue in a snap! And didnt charge anything, it was a quick fix.We are grateful for everything and totally recommend this company!

After a very frustrating experience with a large and well-known stone installer, I went in search of alternatives and found Granite Works. Their responsiveness, customer service and flexibility were refreshing and compelling. The builder of our new home agreed to give GW a chance, after checking references with other local builders. GW provided and installed all the countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms of our home, and they are beautiful! Our builder--who has very exacting standards-was happy with GWs work, and was particularly impressed with their speed, pricing, and transparent sales process, so much so that the builder has now engaged GW on their next big home project!!!
