This is one of the best gym stores I have visited. Dominic was very helpful on explaining the equipment whether you buy it or not. It was a pleasure to complete my home gym equipment from his store and I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know. To be short, they have very good quality equipment and most importantly very good customer service.Ad- could not stop going back. Went 3 more times since I wrote the review. Same great service and staff.

I ordered an elliptical in November 2020. It was delivered in December 2020 with damage to it. I was promised the repair would happen asap. Fast forward to May 2021 - repeated calls (like 15) and and I STILL have a damaged elliptical. Now they have just stopped returning my messages. Avoid, avoid, avoid this place. The absolute WORST customer service.

I when to the store in Rockville MD,I when inside the store and asked to the sell guy for a dual elliptical and recumbent and He reply to me in very bad manner, that they dont carry that type of equipment, and their equipment there where very expensive, meaning perhaps that I didnt have enough money to buy any equipment there. When I ask him why he talk to me that way,He when back and then He and other guy star to argue with me,both of them asked me to leave the store, Happen to be that this day I wasnt very well dressed, I assume, they treated me that way because the way that I looked

Dominic helped me select the perfect elliptical for my small space and quoted me a delivery date 4 weeks out, which was better than what I was able to find elsewhere. Even better, the machine was delivered and set up exactly when scheduled. Julie, the scheduler and Martin, who set up the machine were 100%.Update: January 2021Excellent follow-up/service: After owning my elliptical 5 months, I experienced problems with the heart rate monitor (even after replacing the strap battery). I reached out to my salesperson, Dominic, expecting at best to have a new strap mailed to me. Instead, technician Javier made a service call within the week, used a simulator to confirm the problem was not the console unit, and brought me not one, but two replacement heart rate straps. Thats the kind of service that builds loyalty and referrals.

What a great company! I purchased a LifeFitness X1 (silent and solid quality) and had it delivered and installed. Martin installed it and was very kind, professional and fast. I highly recommend Fitness Showroom! Excellent quality, service and price!

Just purchase from the new showroom in Fairfax a Hudson Steel half cage and smith attachment. I thought the people here are great to deal with and goes out of there way to help. I shopped around and felt I got the best bargain here. I ended up coming back here after checking out all of our other options. They will deliver and put it together for me. My wife was with me and she is a hard one to bargain with and she left happy. I would absolutely purchase from them again and would recommend them to family and friends.

Excellent customer experience from the entire staff. We purchased an large self contained gym unit + treadmill + weights + bench and there was never ;pressure to pick a certain brand. The staff provided lots of guidance and insights which helped us narrow model down. Installation was super --- they arrived on-time with a friendly crew and never complained after spending 3hrs to setup. We recently had a job transfer and the company offer to help and went above and beyond with solutions for our move. Highly rated!

The ONLY place you should go for fitness equipment in our area. Mike was simply amazing. I went in with specific needs and he did not try to oversell me or pressure me at all. He presented multiple great options and did not hassle me or pressure me when I did not make a purchase at the first visit. Mike was attentive and supportive throughout the entire process and immediately answered any questions I had. The price was extremely fair and reasonable. Delivery was on time and efficient several days after my purchase. I had a wonderful experience with Fitness Showroom. I visited the location in Rockville on New Years Day not knowing exactly what I wanted and they helped me think through options - and did not just try to sell me the most expensive piece. The order and delivery schedule process was smooth and the delivery itself was excellent. Martin and Chris had to deal with some oddities with the shape of our basement but were eager to help think of solutions to ensure the piece would fit. They were on time, respectful of my home and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely do business with this company again.

I purchased a treadmill from Michael in July and have only good things to say about my experience. Michael is very knowledgeable about the products that he sells and took the time to understand my goals before making a recommendation. After my purchase he followed up a number of times via phone and email to ensure that the delivery went smoothly and that I was satisfied. I just tried calling the business as I live close to an hour away and I was wanting to find out what they had available and pricing. Upon answering the phone I was greeted with only a hello and after confirming it was supposedly fitness showrooms, I was then asked What do you want?. Before I could even mention that I was looking at a Spirit elliptical, the man cut me off and said out of stock until August which I know isnt the case, as I emailed this supposed company earlier in the week and was told they have them in stock and if not, theyre showing up within a couple weeks. Very shady interaction overall and instantly took my business elsewhere.EDIT: I saw that someone replied to my review from the business and I wasnt sure if I could respond directly, so Id like to make an edit and hope that they see this. I appreciate their/your response,and I was disappointed that I had the interaction I had as I was really looking forward to purchasing from the company. Maybe have a talk with the person who was answering the phone between 4 and 6 p.m. on July 1st, and either remove them from the phone or fire them completely, as theyre the reason you lost business. Worst interaction Id had with a company so far. Again though, thank you for responding and I hope this person doesnt cost you more in lost revenue in the future.

I had an excellent retail experience with Fitness Showrooms of Stamford. I was looking to purchase a treadmill over the Memorial day weekend. My experience with the complete process was AMAZING. It started with Michael being super helpful. I walked into his showroom at 6.45 and it was only when I was leaving that I realized it was 7.45 and the showroom closes at 7.I went there to check out treadmills and walked away with a Life Fitness. I thought it was unaffordable until Michael ensured that he was able to work out a deal which was an offer I couldnt refuse. To top it off, he ensured that my daughters got a little something which delighted them and their delight in turn made my experience even more memorable.Michael followed up after the sale and when he found out that the delivery was taking a little longer than I liked, he got in touch with the delivery company and used his charm to get them to move it up by a few days.The machine arrived on Friday. The delivery and installation went off very smoothly and was professionally done, including clearing off the packaging.At the end of this experience Im very glad that I went to a showroom for buying the treadmill in preference to online and am glad I did. Just purchased an Helix Lateral Trainer with Michael Ricca at Fitness Showrooms of Stamford this week and overall, had a fantastic experience. The Showroom is great, all of the equipment is top of the line. Michael is very very informative with all of the equipment as well as general fitness, but most importantly he has your best interest at heart. I walked in looking for a suspension trainer, which he demonstrated for my wife and I. After discussing the benefits of the machine I asked him about the Helix Lateral Trainer. Michael demonstrated the machine and informed us of the difference between the Lateral and Suspension Machine. He was never pushy throughout the process, which took me 2 weeks to decide. Ultimately, we made the decision on the Lateral Trainer and we could not be happier. Michael Ricca made the whole buying process more enjoyable. When it is time to purchase more equipment, I will definitely be going back to visit Michael and would also recommend Fitness Showrooms if you are looking for some high end fitness equipment.

We went to his showroom really just to window shop, but he still went out of his way to spend 2 hours with us and give us the ins and outs of various different home gym choices. Told us the advantage between the units (We bought more than what we had initially thought and we feel good abut it) and he would have been happy with any decision we made. We had a very positive experience with Michael Ricca at the Stamford showroom. He was knowledgeable and professional and helped us select the Life Fitness Platinum Discovery SE Treadmill. We were particularly interested in this model for the virtual running software and responsiveness, and Michael demonstrated for us its advanced technology and many features while using the touch screen. We are excited to have such a high level piece of fitness equipment in our home gym. While we had an idea of the type of treadmill we were looking for, Michael gave us the confidence that this one was the right one for our needs. In the end, we couldnt be happier with it. The showroom had a large inventory of other fitness equipment, which we also took advantage of, and we will be returning in the future to fulfill other fitness needs.

Called in (Dec. 20, 2017 5pm) about a product and the guy over the phone was kind of a dick, to be honest. Wouldnt let me speak, talked over me, and for whatever reason felt argumentative... Hoping for better interactions in person and or in the future, if it comes to that.

Michael Ricca at Fitness Showrooms of Stamford sold me a Landice treadmill in December 2015 and I could not be more pleased with it. As a serious runner (90+ races ranging in distance from 5k to 100k mountain trail ultras) I know running and was impressed by Michaels knowledge and expertise. What I needed was a treadmill that would be sturdy enough to take the pounding from daily use, running at speeds between 8-12mph, and at a reasonable price. He was able to quickly assess my needs and point me in the right direction. Plus I got a good price. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael for his professionalism and expertise.

Its very easy to feel overwhelmed when your surrounded by so much exercise equipment but Michael Ricca really made the experience enjoyable and informative. He took his time demonstrating different exercises and was willing to spend as much time as needed; I never felt rushed to make a decision. I really appreciated his enthusiasm and friendly demeanor.
