Always a pleasure to drop by and see the guys at United! Theyve really done a stand up job of keeping arms and ammo stocked, at competitive prices no less, all throughout the Covid situation. The staff are super friendly, and always knowledgeable, plus you can tell from their enthusiasm that they clearly like where they work. I always recommend United Guns to anyone local looking for a good deal and a reputable business.

I went here recently to look at their inventory and was very pleased. They had a great collection of both new and used firearms and I made a purchase of a consigned rifle. The staff is extremely helpful and did a great job answering any questions! They also told me about the HQL program and what it consisted of. I was not readily in the market for a handgun but they made it easy and simple for me to go through the process of attaining my first!

Transferred a gun through them and they stayed on top of it and let me know it came in unlike other FFLs Ive dealt with. When I walked in I was immediately assisted by Rob who quickly got me through all of the paperwork and had no problems answering all of the questions I had. Definitely will be back and will recommend them to any friends or family.

Awesome experience, both instructors were very knowledgeable and informative! They have a nice affordable gun section, one pre-owned section and a new section, so you have options, finger printing was $59 which was affordable and they offer other classes and even private lessons.If you think you know everything about having a firearm in your home but you have the slightest doubt about a gray area trust me when I say these guys know it all and are willing to educate you on FACTS!! I will be taking another class!!

First gun store and gun safety course I have ever taken or attended and by far my knowledge and education of gun safety and carry and wear permit. Great help with teaching me to use a firearm for the first time. Ive never used a pistol before and in a couple hours I learned the proper safety measures and had pretty good accuracy.

Really wish I could recall the name of the gentleman who helped us, but as a first time gun owner, he was awesome. Very informative and he had great recommendations. He also wasn’t like the normal scope of people you run into who are money hungry to make a sale. I’m excited this is where I made my first purchase and more than likely I will continue to go specifically through them for any future purchases.

My buying experience was quick and easy with the help of a friendly and efficient salesperson, Alante. I also chanced upon plenty of 9mm brass and hard-to-find 350 legend ammo at online prices, sans the add’l shipping cost. Great find.

There are probably a dozen shops located closer to me, but its worth the extra drive to United Gun Shop. Their complete offering of training and fingerprinting combined with great service, selection, and pricing makes this the only shop I need to know. Their online selection is vast with great pricing, especially if you consider those purchases have no shipping cost or FFL fee. Their ammo is also always reasonably priced, when they could easily charge more. The ownership obviously places a high value on repeat business, and Ive never been there when its not busy with customers. If youve never been there, I would highly recommend checking their online store or visiting.

Took the HQL course. The class was very informative. Both instructors did a great job of making it an interactive class versus talking at you about the importance of gun safety. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and I can not wait to visit again when I am ready to make my first hand gun purchase!

United is an awesome shop. We recently spoke with Rob, who was very attentive and had some knowledge of Massachusetts regulations, which was pleasantly surprising given how far away that is from Maryland. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and great to chat with. They always recognize us when we return and that makes us feel valued. They have a great selection of firearms and accessories and they have earned our repeated business. Highly recommend!

As always these guys are extremely helpful and very friendly. But more importantly they make you feel like your apart of the family. They give you soooo many options far as the selection. And the prices are extremely affordable and is definitely worth the commute. This is the only gun shop I will ever come to. Each staff member is highly highly knowledgeable and will be patient with you and won’t make you feel rushed. Every time I come here there customer service gets better and better. A family member recommended United about 5 years ago and I have been a loyal customer since. They treat everyone with respect no matter your skill level and I have never seen them be condescending anyone, especially newbies, which I have seen at other stores. Came into gun shop and had no clue what i was looking for and also didnt know what i needed to do to purchase a gun. Gentleman name Rob approached me and offer me some help. I went here for my MD HQL / Utah License class on 10/27. I didn’t know what to expect but man I was not disappointed with the service here. I have to say the customer service was amazing. If you should ever have issues, please contact the owner first before you complain on here like I did. After a conversation with owner, what I was upset about was happily resolved. I should have asked to speak straight to the owner before going off on a tangent. Owner was respectful and caring to the concerns brought to his attention. I feel confident after our conversation that the direction and steps being taken to move forward are in a positive direction.

I knew I wanted an LWRC AR-15. Came in and was shown the LWRC they had and I loved it. They hooked me up with some bells and whistles for it that were in my price range and filed my paperwork, background check and walked out with my present to myself. Felt good being a AR toting woman when I left. Will definitely be back!!

For starters, Id like to say that Jonathan was an excellent and very informed instructor and made this HQL course fun. He connects with the group very well and makes what would likely be a tedious process a breeze. After completing the course I had an issue with documentation while completing the application for my license. Jonathan immediately chimed in via email that I included him on to back me up with any documentation needed. Talk about customer service!Lastly and most importantly, in Jonathans HQL course you are learning from both retired and active police officers, so the experience of learning from the best is priceless.

I took the HQL class on May 19, 2021 with family members. I love the class. The two instructors who taught the class was awesome. They made the class feel comfortable for people who never dealt with a firearms. They also did the finger prints during class. So that did save an extra trip. Over all best experience learning the the rules/law of ownership for firearms in Maryland. I will take another class from this company.

Been wanting to get a piece so I can stop spending a grip every time I go to the range, and I looked up a spot in Maryland while I was in Silver Spring and this shop popped up, coming in the door I was confidently greeted by one of the managers and welcomed to approach the counter to be assisted and immediately felt comfortable purchasing my first time! I couldn’t have had a better first time experience. I was given the options to fill out the application on my phone or a laptop supplied by them and seamlessly registered and submitted my app for my New Glock. Thank fellas. That was dope!
