Excellent service on a defective spa. Through no fault of Capital HT&S our recent purchase had a control panel issue. Took nearly 2 months to get the part ( can we blame COVID for the delay? ). Anyway, as soon as the part arrived, the technician was out to our house and made everything right as rain - it now works as promised. I have been a very satisfied customer since 1999.

I have been a hot tub(er) for 30 years now. The first one gave up the ghost after 10 years but my Hot Springs Grande is 20 years old this year and we are still enjoying it. It has served us well. But when the time comes to replace it we will be going back to Capital Hot Springs for another (maybe a bit smaller one) as we are approaching 80.

We had ordered our spa during COVID and it took 7 months to get here. Capital Hot tubs installed our unit and we found out that the tub had a leak. They sent out a technician to repair the leak which they did but it was a major repair and Capital Hot tubs under warranty ordered a new tub for us. They are very helpful and now that the US is opening up supplies are readily available. Great staff bring your suit and try one of their spas out.

This is an average review between the dealer and tub...5 for Capital, 3 for the tub.I purchased the Hot Springs Limelight Flash back in the fall of 2018. The sales and delivery process were simple. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The overall experience with Capital Hot Tubs has been great. I wish I could say the same thing about the hot tub. There have been a couple minor issues with the jet covers that I can overlook. However, Im on my fourth salt cell. About a month ago the heater was replaced since it was leaking. All of this has been covered under warranty except the $69 deductible. I religiously clean the cell and the filters monthly with minimal, weekly use averaging 1 person. This does not speak well to the overall dependability of the tub. Im very surprised by the lack of quality at this price point. My prior Marquis hot tub lasted 10 years before I had any issues. It lasted another 2-3 years before I decided to replace it. The technician is going to speak with Watkins the manufacturer to see what can be done about the continuing cell issues. I have just over 2 years left on the warranty. Im not looking forward to when it expires. While I would recommend Capital Hot Tubs. I would not recommend the tub.

These folks have serviced our Hot Springs Sovereign LE spa since we installed it in 2003. Theyve replaced the cover twice, the heater, the ozonator and several of the jets. The spa looks and works like new after nearly 20 years. Good value for money as well. They tracked our latest cover replacement through 6 months of Covid supply chain problems and we never had to prompt them.

Considering this was during the Covid Pandemic the whole process went very smoothly. From the sales, communications and delivery. Had a little hiccup in the final process some was resolved and some was not. Over all I am enjoying my hot tub in the end. (Every day!!)

I have written a 5-star review of Capital Hot Tubs & Saunas in the past- when I purchased my salt water spa (Nov 2019).I really enjoy the hot tub, and we recommend it and them to anyone who is considering it.THIS review is about the customer service. I called to get put on their super easy auto ship program for salt cartridges. I asked them to send me them more frequently, since it seemed that I was going through them more quickly than I should be. Rather than taking my money for the additional filters, they set up a service call to see if there was an issue. Even before they came out, I got an email from their service manager (Jeff). He proactively talked to the manufacturer about my issue, and they recommended them to replace the controller with a new, updated version. He said they will have it in stock, and will be here in a few days to install.With everything that is going on with the pandemic, it is wonderful to have a company to continue to focus on customer service.

I waited 2 months after I purchased it before I wrote a review. This traditional sauna is one of the best purchases of my life. My family and I use it almost daily. It is extremely relaxing with the music and the lights. What a stress reliever. We absolutely love it. The service from Capital Hottubs was fantastic. If this thing ever dies from over-usage, I will go out and buy another the next day. This has been worth every penny.

Bought a hot tub from Capital Hot Tubs and Saunas late August and we were told it wouldnt be delivered until Spring. But received an email in October and it was delivered on 11/10/2020. During delivery, the salt water packaged wasnt received due to backorder. I contacted the company on 11/11/2020 and spoke to Jesica and she scheduled a tech to come out to install the salt water package and walked us through taking care of the hot tub on 11/12/2020. Matt showed up on time and was great! He did an excellent job of showing us how to take care of the hot tub and also installed the cover lifter. I would give Jesica and Matt 5 gold stars for service and customer service!

Dan in Rockville was great assisting me make a correct selection to replace my 18 year old H/T and worked with me on pricing. The removal & installation by Matt, John, and workers on Monday went well and today I got Kevin McGee a great electrician to hook her up. I am working with Dan and the manual to get the salt to normal and hope to use it soon. This is FAR superior to Tubs almost 20 years ago. We have been dealing with Dan at Capital Hot Tubs for over a year after a poor experience elsewhere. Our building project encountered several delays and Dan followed up with us consistently throughout. Once the project was well on its way, our Project Manager was able to get all of the necessary information from Dan in order to ensure proper preparation for installation. She said he was terrific at providing all of the specs and other information needed. In the intervening months we have heard from numerous friends and acquaintances about Capital Hot Tubs and their stellar service. Today we happened to meet the Regional Sales Manager and he was also extremely knowledgeable and helped us work through another decision point. We have been very pleased with our experience overall, never feeling as though we are asking too many questions and always feeling as though we are getting the best information. Our unit will be installed in about a month and we will update the review when complete.

Dan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us to the best hot tub for us. Not high pressure like many people in sales, didnt sell us things we didnt need. The installation and ongoing service have been outstanding.

After visiting several Hot Tub stores and explaining the difficult location for a new hot tub, Capital said they would handle everything and they did! They took out the old tub which was recessed in the deck, brought the recess up to deck level and installed new tub. Joe, the owner, handled the deck construction. Joe is a bit of a perfectionist. The whole team did a great job.

The process of getting our Pulse hot tub took a while. We had changes to be done at our location to make it possible. However, Joe and the guys were able to deliver it flawlessly. They even made it thru our strangely situated 4 foot gate with a huge tree next to it. They didn’t even brush the sides of the gate, or the tree. Talk about precision driving! Very impressive. The tub was then lifted to the deck and positioned exactly where we wanted it. The electrician came and hooked it up, and within 48 hours of delivery, we had hot water! I’m not sure we have gotten out of it since.We use it daily and cannot imagine why we waited so many years to do this. It’s fantastic.Dan has been great about answering a million questions before and after the sale.

We would definitely recommend a salt tub, having had a chlorine-based hot tub for 17 years before switching. Not only do you feel relaxed after using the salt water hot tub, your skin feel like you just got out of the shower instead of smelling like chlorine.When we called Capital Hot Tubs for service over the years on our old hot tub they were out to our house promptly, usually within a day or two. Our dealings with Patty and with Mike were always very pleasant and we found them to be honest and easy to work with. Definitely this is a company and a hot tub product worth checking out. They answered all my questions without any hard sell. I was able to purchase a floor model at the end of the year with all the features I wanted at a great price. We had some issues with our salt cell but their service has been excellent in resolving the problems.

Just bought my first Hot Tub from Dan at Capital Hot Tubs. I had wanted a hot tub for some time, but wasn’t sure if it would work on my deck. Dan was great, he came out to my house on a weekend, assessed my deck and educated me on different types of hot tubs, he know his stuff! I’ve been enjoying it for about a month and it’s been great. The staff has been extremely helpful as well, Jessica spent about an hour with me going over the best way to clean the tub and maintain the water. Getting the water right seemed complicated at first, but really it’s quite simple. Dan, Jessica and the staff are easy to reach and all very knowledgeable.

We bought a salt water 7 seat hot tub from Capital hot tubs about 7 months ago and are very happy with the quality of the spa, the intensity and number of jets and with the customer support. Anytime I have a question I just call and any staff who answers are very willing to help while being courteous and professional. I didn’t know this, and wasn’t clear when I bought it, but you can have the cover installed on the back or on the side of the tub. Now we can enjoy the scenery behind the tub. We went to two other hot tub suppliers with a different brand and didn’t seem right. This one is a winner.

Great product and superb customer service. This is my second hot tub (first from another vendor) and I have had it for well over 7 years of heavy use. Hot tubs are a wonderful way to relax from stress day, and always a hit with family, friends and guest. The project my company hired you for has not been completed on time and you have done nothing to help us expedite things. 90 days past due is beyond reasonable in terms of a delay. All you have done consistently is demand progress payments be made before you would do any work for us. I would never do business with your company again nor would I recommend you to anyone looking for a professional company to partner with. To top things off, after measuring our sauna kit incorrectly and sending it back to the manufacturer you measured our sauna door incorrectly, a second time. When we called your office and asked for help to make things right and expedite the replacement door, the secretary said management was out off the office in Florida for a 3 week business trip and no one was available to help us. Really?

Dan in the Rockville store is incredibly responsive, worked with us on the hot tub that made most sense for our budget and helped work around our schedule to have the hot tub installed and wired on time for New Years Eve. He answers emails and texts at all hours and really believes in Customer Service and he has a great Rolodex of people if you need electric help or deck-building, etc.! We cant wait to go in tonight!!!

We bought a Beam hot tub from Capital Hot Tubs & Saunas and I was extremely happy with the service we received. The old hot tub was removed from a difficult location and the new hot tub was installed quickly and efficiently. We had a problem with the thermostat and called and a technician was there the next morning to fix it. That is great customer service! We love the ease of setting the temperature, adjusting the jets, etc., all of the controls are easy to use (which was a huge problem with our last hot tub. The salt-based solution is perfect for us, as we wanted low maintenance and not the harsh chemicals a traditional cholorine hot tub. We are enjoying it immensely!!!

I purchased a Hot Springs Envoy spa from Capital Hot Tubs & Saunas in 2004. This spa has held up excellently and is still going strong. The folks at Capital have provided a great service and support over the years. During the first few years there was an issue with the interior controller console. Capital honored the warranty in replacing the console twice with no fuss.

We are repeat customers and could not be happier with the buying process, delivery and installation, and follow up support. Our new spa had a constant tone sound that was ruining the tranquil spa experience we were used to enjoying. At no charge to us, a service technician was dispatched and through some diligent trial and error, a solution was found and we are now loving our new spa. You will not be disappointed if you get a spa from Capital Hot Tubs and Saunas.

Our tech came out to see what was going on with the tub,, ( its old, 22 yrs) but he was able to determine what the issue was, and the tub is back up and running. we have been customers since 97and couldnt be happier with the service and supplies. We will probably trade this Prodigy in at some point, once it cant be repaired, but for now, its still with us! Thanks again!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I knew which hot tub I would likely purchase and Dan in sales set up a test soak for me. I wasn’t ready to purchase immediately so Dan followed up with me every few weeks but I never felt pressured. I also felt that I got straightforward, knowledgeable, and honest answers to all my questions - Dan did not try to push me toward the more expensive salt system, for example, because he said it didn’t fit the needs that I described. I wasn’t sure if my space was a good candidate for shimming so the owner made a house call to check and assured me that it was, saving me tons of money because I didn’t have to lay down any new concrete. Once I was ready to purchase, the transaction went smoothly, delivery and installation were ultra professional and on time. One small part was missing during delivery so it was prioritized for the next morning with an apology. Very impressed with the service and experience and have been enjoying the hot tub since. As the hot tub in our new house was from this company decided to check them out. The one there worked but as was about 20 yrs old wanted to look for a new power and cleaning style. We did our reaserch like we always do. Sandie at Fairfax location was such a joy willing to answer our question and helping us get what we wanted. She was there when I had questions on delivery, got me to the ones we needed when our remote was confused and was exactly what I needed. Note when our remote for tub got confused capital was on the spot switched it out with a happy experience. No grumbling, no repeat call back. That is a sign they care. Started calling 12/23/2019 and as of today, 01/03/2020 not one person in the Clarksburg office has called me back. Have left 5 messages for services and one in the general box, today. I wasnt sure my patio could accommodate a hot tub and the owner came out to measure and reassured me that it would work. It took multiple visits to the store for me to make a decision, and I never got any pressure to buy, just solid advice. They even let me try out a hot tub at the Clarksburg store. Great customer service and it feels good to support a family-owned business.

They performed the annual valet service for me. David was prompt and very thorough. My spa is sparkling clean and well balanced for the season!

I just had my second hot tub delivered by Capital Hot Tub. I have been a customer of them for 17 years. They have always been helpful and friendly. As a return customer, they gave me a great deal on a new hot tub as well as advice on my needs. They are simply the best.

My husband went to the Fairfax location and purchased a hot but in January 2019. Everything was arranged, and the hottub arrived and was installed on one of the rainiest days we had this winter. It was terrible. I got home and realized that the installation crew had forgotten to leave the electric box and the electrician was due to arrive in 16 hours. I called, obviously upset, and Patty said she would make things right. A few hours later, after hours the owner arrived at our home with the electric box. Installation continued the next day as planned and just a day later we were enjoying our tub! It totally re-invigorated our use of our back patio....even in January! I cannot recommend Capitol Hot Tubs any more highly. The inventories are great, but the customer service is even better! Thanks Patty and your team!

This was our first hot tub purchase and Dan made us feel like part of the hot tub family. It was a great experience and the tub was delivered when they said with no problems. We bought the Hot Springs Flash and its AWESOME!!! Buy your hot tub from Capital, dont waste your time anywhere else.
