Place not well maintained..... I saw guy eating and packing mint for me and also throwing boxes on other food and they have expire product as well as, guy at counter was nice but things are not well managed and not organized at all.... you have to ask them for each and everything..... would never come again.
We have been going there for Indian grocery since we arrived in the washington DC area. We were there yesterday to pick up freshly made samosas. We ordered and reserved them ahead of time by phone, Parivar’s staff were very nice And helpful. Our samosas were always nicely packed and tasted fresh. Yummy.
Awesome Indian grocery store! Variety of dry foods, frozen sweets etc. Pretty good fresh veggies as well. Convenient location! 🤗🤗
Price was great for items purchased.
Their delivery is quick, in an hour or two, groceries are packed well. You can communicate with the person putting your groceries together if there are replacements that needed for out of stock items. Overall, I greatly do love shopping in their store because it was worth it and satisfying. My needs were all there. The best grocery shop ever! Thanks a lot!
Small Desi grocery store with all the basics and friendly staff.
India store.. good
Delicious fresh samosas!
Well organized Indian grocery store with good amount of staple produce.
Lots of good choices, and a good choice of spices and organic beans, never knew it was here
Clean, well stocked, good service.
Nice store all thing i hot here..
I went in there today after a long time and there was an employee at the register without a mask on even when customers were at the register! The kid was more focused on playing DJ on his phone and blasting songs throughout the store than following guidelines. They even allowed a customer in there without a mask. The kid was playing the music so loudly that he would be shouting out to other employees in the store. Smh this place is a dump and after today I don’t plan on setting foot in that place. Aside from them not enforcing face masks they’re always short on food!! It’s like slim pickings at times. 🤦🏽♀️Avoid this place!!!
I dont get why this place always looks dirty and smells funky. Theyre just not improving. And now we have the real Patel Brothers in Gaithersburg. Clean, well organized and way better stuff. So, after years of coming here, because of location and lack of competition, I think were done with this place।
Nice place for all indian groceries
Good for Indian Grocery. Nothing special.
Very well organized store. Friendly staff. The provisions and choices of Indian grocery items are plentiful.Strongly recommend this store.
Some very specific indian spices, snacks materials for worship are available... Indian vegetables available but the quality is not as great as other asian stores.
This great chain of Indian grocery stores is awesome! Ive now been to two in the DC area and have been able to find everything I need for my weekly needs. The prices are very good considering the area (DC). So, if you are looking for a great Indian store for all of your Indian food needs, I highly recommend checking this place out! Also, the staff is really attentive and nice.
Good place to buy Indian food, theyve got a decent selection. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful. Usually no problem parking. Not sure about the prices, but theyre probably in line with other similar stores.
Lots of wonderful food and spices.
Very convenient store to get Indian groceries as well other items unique to India. They have fresh vegetables and frozen foods from different parts of India. The aisles are kind of narrow but the shelves are well stocked.
Most indian grocery, spices available here. Indian utensils like thaal(plate), bowl, spice box also available. Indian brand products available.
Nice
Very good prices and food is excellent. I ordered some samosas for a party and the price was much cheaper than ordering from Indian restaurant. The service is very friendly as well. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff who want to help you find what youre looking for. Great selection of products. Clean and organized store.
The daily fresh samosas and other homemade items by the register are amazing. Great variety of Indian foods.
They have changed the name to Paribar . We had terrible time finding the store as we were new in the area and was looking for Patel Brothers. The store is quite small and the varieties are limited. Some items were overpriced. We liked the warm somosas at the counter for 75 cents..But just remember NO SAMOSAS on Mondays! Should add that the all members of the staff are super friendly.
Good Indian Store, but needs have more varieties. Little cleanness near frozen section will attract more people. Overall Good Store.
My wife and I love this place because of the inventory, good pricing, super helpful and friendly staff - Mr. Shah and others. Also, the veggies are fresh when we go there.
This is not the cleanest store ever, and its pretty small, but the stuff is very friendly. Some of them have a strong accent, but the groceries they sell sometimes are hard to get in other places. This is a great place to get some Indian food
Love their prices and they are one place to get your Indian groceries.
They really have a good selection of vegetables and other Indian grocery items. Best place for Indian grocery in the town.
This place charges 0.35 cents per plastic beg. They also charge a fee to use credit cards to pay for merchandisers. The owner added extra charges in the receipt which I didnt receive. Go to Indian Bazar which is about 5-10 minutes away - its much cheaper and cleaner.Dont waste your time with this place !!
Decent Indian store. Found items I was looking for. Veggies were mostly fresh.
This used to be an outpost of Patel Grocery store for a long time. Looks like the Patel Grocery store owners opened a new store in Gaithersburg so now this has morphed into Parivar Grocery. The staff is still the same and everything is pretty much same in the store as far as supplies are concerned. This is a nice small store to get essentials of Indian grocery. The do have fresh produce available once a week and quality of the produce is decent. There is also a small selection of frozen items that covers the most basic products.Staff is helpful and friendly and parking is plenty in the shopping center too. Location is convenient on Rockville Pike.
I have been shopping here for l more then 15 years and this store never disappoint me. They have good collection of Indian grocery and very reasonably priced.
It is very convenient
Great Indian store they have delicious fresh samosas at the checkout counter if you ask
Some common grocery items are overpriced and also expired. Pav bhaji pav had fungus growing. Always check items and compare prices before you buy.
Good to find a place that sells Indian groceries in US.
Its so convenient and close to Montgomery College
Good Indian grocery store. No parking at all. Slow service. Can be better.
Good stor for North Indian non processed food items
Indian groceries with lots of options if you want ready-to-eat food, spices, traditional south Indian and North Indian rice varieties, fresh and frozen vegetables and other grocery items. The price seems decent.
Small one. Not many fresh vegetables. But you will get all other regular indian groceries. Management is ok. Frozen items are good.
Arrogant Patel can be see there, I feel like seeing patel smile at least once in my life but failed to see.Good place to get indian veggies.
Decent selection of Indian food, though people working there are neither friendly, or particularly helpful
Small grocery store compared to the one at gaithersburg. No proper fresh veggies and service here is worse. It has less items i have seen patel brothers at other locations and assumed it would be the same here but No i don’t see same quality as other stores. It has many items with expired mfg date if we don’t see the date we end up in buying something which is already expired more than a year ago !!
They have good collection of groceries but not a great place for fresh vegetables.
A little small, but has very good selection of spices and naan. FYI the cardamom and cinnamon are behind the cash register.
Fewer choices for Indian items and poor service. But unfortunately this store is nearby and meets the emergency items. But I like the Aloo Bonda made here. Dont like the Kachi Dabeli...
This is the place for Indian groceries. Stock up on pickle, papadums, dal, spices. Then grab some home made samosas and pakoras at the checkout. Worth the drive.
Great store for South Asian spices and products (including fresh grocery) from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Competitive prices!
The store carries Indian groceries and has wide variety of brands and products and I find their prices reasonable
Small little store. Not great variety in produce. There are far better Indian grocery stores in the area.
Great Indian Grocery store. A little hidden but good selection.
All Indian stuff, people will enjoy buying Indian food related items.
A great Patel Brothers establishment. Standard Indian and Desi products
Great selection. Attentive staff. My go to Indian grocery store.
Very peaceful and organized received good help and store has variety of products
Good collection of Indian grocery and fresh veggies. Courtious and feel homely.
Good place to get Indian items
Decent .. Could have more fresh vegetables.
You will get everything you need to make a delicious indian spread!!
You can meet most of the Indian grocery requirements at this place. The store manager is very welcoming and friendly.
Very courteous and friendly. Always suggests a deal that is better for their customer.
Great spot for fresh, frozen and dried Indian spices! Reasonable prices too
One stop for all needs for a Indian Family
Good to buy all Indian groceries at reasonable price!
Nice place to get INDIAN groceries. Most of the things are available. Reasonably priced.
I have seen worse Patel brother shops ( Hyattsville ) and I have seen better (Cantonsville). This one is towards the better scale. For Gaithersburg, I guess this is my second best option for Indian grocery after lotte plaza.
Good place to shop indian grocery.
Perfect place to have Indian stuff,Can also check for everyday new hot snacks which can satisfy your craving for Indian food
Must try Dabeli.... Awesome
First time there but i found a lot if good snacks
Great price - bitter Mellon okra!
Typical Indian grocery store. I wish they focused a little more on the cleanliness and customer service .
Typical Indian store. Small, not exactly organized but enough to find the things I typically buy.
Need to work on their customer service but otherwise a good place to pick up the necessary items for a traditional Indian cuisine
Fresh food items had mold and mildew. Complained to the owner, Manoj Shah AKA Moshe, who argued that I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED IT OUT BEFORE PURCHASING.Excuse Me!!!! Yes, Buyer Beware, but since when the burden is on the consumer to make sure that the food claimed to be FRESH is even worthy of human consumption???I told him I wouldnt want to buy something tempered with by other patrons... the food is not in a sealed package but in a zip lock bag with no manufacturing date or expiration for that matter.I told him I have the photo of the item and shall report him to the Montgomery County Health Department. He said he has been in business for 30 years and is afraid of no one. I responded by saying that we shall see if he stays in business for the next 30 years if he insists on continuing to d business in the same manner!
Kind owner, good variety, reasonable prices. Need something not in the store...owner will find it for you.
Fresh vegetables
Grumpy staff. Cards accepted only for purchases over $10. Selection of Indian foods is good though
Great selection of food.
Have the vegan items I want at good prices
Decent Indian grocer. Great prices on spices and dried goods. Cramped aisles, and staff arent very helpful.
Good products, friendly helpful staff, fair prices
You will get indian groceries for your needs but quality can be better.
Little expensive. Name of store in Parivaar and not Patel brothers.
Idle place for Indian grocery. We can get fresh vegetables and good service
We get all Indian products like food and grocery, its neet and clean and big.I took my clients oftenly to this place for groceries...
Many of their stock were from 2018....
Neighborhood Indian grocery store for over the past 20 years. Great selection and service.
Great selection of food and prices are good.
Nearest indian grocery shop for food. we almost every week visits this place and its very good place for fresh veggies.
Nice Experience, but costly, very expensive
The shop is now called Parivar Groceries
All indian groceries available here- frozen roti, rice, samosas. Enough said.
