Dr stevens was incredible. He was very detailed and I trust him completely to do my cataract surgery. I would recommend him very highly.

I was able to get in the same day I called, very rare these days. The Tekkies & Scribes were polite, efficient, knowledgeable & fun. The adorable Dr Stephens was quick yet thorough. He addressed all of my concerns & some I hadnt considered. I wish all of my doctors were that thorough & caring.

I was surprised and dissatisfied that this office did not offer the technology to avoid having my eyes dilated for testing! I have been to much smaller offices in the last couple of years that offered this.i had to pay additional fee once, but glad to pay 30 dollars for the benefit of NOT having dilation.Not everyone can make arrangements to be driven home.I didnt do this and had to experience discomfort and danger driving myself home

Checked in on website the night before. Filled out all paperwork. Upon arrival, texted them that I was there. Stayed in car until they were ready for me. They text me when to come in. Wore mask and they checked my temperature. Short wait for them to call me back. Lisa did all my eye readings and verified my new prescription. Very thorough. Charlie helped Dr. Stephens by recording my inner eye conditions, looking for diabetic retinopathy. Everything was very efficient and I do not need to go back for a year. I was very pleased with the whole process.

Got in quick. Had several test & professional as well as friendly. Doctor Hurst thorough but kinda quick. A little on the rush side. The girl that done my testing was great. I had several questions which she answered but was told Dr. Hurst would address other questions. He did not.

I was very satisfied with the extra safety procedures in place for Covid. The checking procedure started from my car, as soon sent a text that I had arrived. My passage three the waiting area(which was uncrowned) was quick and efficient.The medical technician who assisted me was not only knowledgeable, he was upbeat, encouraging, friendly and humorous.The doctor was very forthcoming with details of a proposed procedure. He explained everything well and answered my every question.I will certainly recommend this practice highly and will return for treatment without hesitation.

I had a great experience with Key Whitman. I got a appointment 2 days after I called and lasik 3 days later. Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable

Very satisfied with the ease of getting my appointments set up. The quickness in diagnosing my issues and fixing the problem. Doctors and all the staff Ive dealt with. Has been nothing but super friendly.

Everything went very well until almost a week after surgery. I blacked out. I am using Timolol for pressure after surgery and I should have read the literature that came with the drops, but I didnt. One of the side effects is dizziness, light headedness or fainting. I called the office the next day before noon and related my experience. Lady said someone would call me. No one did so I called again late afternoon the next day. They said doc had gone for day however a lady did call me shortly thereafter. I related all of above. She then asked me if I thought I should continue the drops. I am not a medical provider. How should I know if I should continue the drops. I know the pressure is still high because I still see a fluttering in my peripheral vision. I have continued the drops and have not blacked out again but I am still shaking my head at her asking me if I should continue the drops.

I am very comfortable in Dr Hurst office. They make you feel welcome from the front desk to the time you are leaving. They make sure that you know everything that they are doing to you. They compare each visit to see if there has been any changes in your vision care. You would love Dr Hurst because he is gentle with you and he knows eye care like the back of his hands.

The physicians all are terrific and take the time to explain everything you have questions about. I had cataract survey in both eyes. The experience was quick and very satisfying. Arrived 15 minutes before appt. Didn’t get called back until 30 mins after appt.Tech was fantastic. BUT then waited 30 mins for dr to come in to see us. Over 2.5 hours is ridiculous amount for an annual check up.

Dr. Hurst must be one of the last Dr.s practicing that patients are more than a number on a data base in some cloud over the rainbow. He and all of the people working in his office treat patients with the care youd give to your own family if you were the provider. They usually are on time and I think they take good care of you. I had Lasic eye surgery in 2001 and have loved it ever since. Then they did my cataract surgery in 2015. They did a great job. Love Dr. Hurst. Very pleased with the results.

Since you walk in, they greet you with courtesy. The wait for then to call you back is less then other offices I been to. Front staff and back staff are wonderful, helpful people. Dr. Hurst is the best, he explain with details all my concerns and referral me to Texas Retina, they schedule my appt and even gave me new patient paperwork. I would definitely recommend the office.

Dr. Hurst and his team at Key-Whitman have consistently shown how much they care for their patients. The staff are always friendly and courteous. Dr. Hurst is very thorough and provides the information you need to understand any issues you may have with the care and treatment of your eyes. If I could sum up in one word, I trust him.

I thank them that they expedited my schedule sooner than later but I wont go back to them. It was very disappointing when they charged me more like, $105.00 instead of $50.00 copay. There was no proper disclosure or disclosure may have been inadequate for the extra service I did not ask for. When I called them, I was told by the staff that the disclosure was signed by me sometime last year but not with my very recent visit last January 7th, 2020. If it was allegedly signed several months ago, then I dont remember it now. To my opinion, this is very deceptive business practice to do that. This is shocking to me. I do not recommend them.

Great staff! I had to be seen due to my glasses being broken in a car accident. Suzanne actually followed up with me to be sure I had everything I needed from them to get my reimbursement from the car insurance company 2 months later. Great customer service!

This was my first cataract surgery. I was very anxious for the laser assistance. Also. I use a walker and get around very poorly. They had a greeter at the entrance who got a wheelchair and took me to check in and the tech took me from there. Everyone was wonderful. Had an IV to relax me and drops to anesthetize the eye. Absolutely no pain. In and out in less than an hour.

Dr. Hurst was what I had hoped for in a competent and helpful professional. I can see why the recommendation from my ENT was what it was. Great experience and appreciate the staff as well. See you on the next check up.
