I came by today (1/23/21) to get my oil changed. The staff was very friendly except for one. He was very unprofessional, vulgar and wasn’t wearing a mask. I enjoy this location because they don’t rip you off or scam like other places do. But this particular employee just made my experience very uncomfortable. please wear a mask. especially when dealing with customers and being close quarters with your coworkers. other than that, this place is great.

It’s way past time for me to write a review of Mobil 1. Glenn, and now Nate, have taken care of three of my cars over about ten years. Needless to say, I’ve had just about every type of car servicing possible, from routine oil changes to major repairs. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure my car is taken care of and I’m comfortable. They’re honest, incredibly fair with pricing, and really know their stuff. Everyone is great there except for who I am assuming is the manager. Went in a few weeks back for a coolant change and the guy was yelling at his employees without a mask on. Truly feel bad for the guys working that have to put up with him. Other than him, good work though. Also, their responses to these reviews really highlight their/his unprofessionalism, so Im looking forward to that.

Oil change sit in the car and relax

I’ve been getting my oil changed here for years. I recently moved to Santa Rosa but still choose to drive to Rohnert Park to get my oil changed because the team at Mobil 1 has always been so friendly and honest. In addition to oil changes, I’ve had them service the AC and even install a roof rack that I bought off amazon. They make the process easy and pleasant.

I’ve been to a few places, but no place comes close to the Mobil 1 Lube Express in Rohnert Park. They are friendly, professional, extremely fair, and maybe most importantly honest and trustworthy. Since the first time I took my car to Glenn and Nate and the guys at the shop I’ve always known my car was in good hands and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. If you need a oil change, smog, or service give this place a shot and you won’t regret it.

Mobil1 RP is awesome! The crew there is very knowledgeable and friendly i got my early 90s supra serviced for a great price all fluids filters brakes spark plugs and a smog inspection done in no time! definitely a great experience now my go to shop!

Bring your own oil, this being a lube place you would think they are fully stocked with your grade of oil. That I can understand and excuse. But Caught them pouring into my engine the wrong one. The owner tried to justify intentional trickery by saying “they are all the same”.It would have been a very easy and cordial transaction had they toldme that they run out and will be ordering the correct grade, and it will take just a few more minutes. The owner got agitated when he was caught, and became arrogant and agitated.This is the reason why I don’t trust this type of business places. I was beginning to think I actually found one I can trust, but on my third visit, finding a lube place I can trust proves to be never-ending.I insisted that they drain the oil and replace it with the correct one, which they did. Service was fast, but just be wary they will pull a fast one if you are not vigilant.Update:So the place admitted theirmistake. Now they are making it sound that they performed all those “extras” just for me to compensate for the admitted mistake. As a matter of fact, they do all those with any of their customers.Bottom line, the most expensive incorrect grade of oil does not magically transform into the correct grade once it is poured into the engine. There is a reason why all oil filler caps manufactured have very prominent marking for the correct oil type. Stare at the technician? I was watching my car to make sure the correct oil type was poured into my car. There shouldnt have been a need to watch my car in the first place. I suggest to people reading this to read the owners reply. It will tell you why I had to write this review.Update:Quote Again though, I can not state more accurately, leave us alone and go harrass some other business.Try to treat your customers with just a little bit of common sense respect.Yell at them to go into the office and stop arguing with you about the mistake? Who is harassing who? Dont worry your business will thrive, just not with this customer.

I dont usually take the time to write reviews, but I want people to know how much Mobil 1s service should be appreciated.I was passing through Rohnert Park on a long trip when my check engine light flashed on, the urgent kind that kept on blinking. It was a Sunday morning -- Fathers Day, in fact -- and it seemed like every other shop in town was closed. I called the local OReillys (very helpful place, too) and they referred me to Mobil 1 Lube Express, the glorious unicorn of a shop that would save my trip.Things that happened:The light came on around 730am and the shop hours didnt start until 9am. I ended up waiting in their parking lot around 830am and saw three other cars pull up closer to opening time -- one had driven right up to the garage even when the shutters were still down (FYI: it was a Karen).Nate, the manager, opened up the office right on the dot to let the waiting customers in. After that, the incoming cars were nonstop.Initially, Nate had asked if I could leave the car for a day to diagnose/fix the check engine light, since the shop was already stacked with other projects. When I mentioned that I was just passing through, he was willing to work with that and clearly communicated that it would take a few hours, which was a bummer but I get it.Turns out that it was a faulty ignition coil with one of my spark plugs. Nate, himself, drove out to Santa Rosa to pick up the part since their normal delivery didnt operate on Sunday.Things to note (or TL;DR):1) They had only THREE employees, including the supervisor, working that day. The fact that they were understaffed and STILL were able to churn out quick service is a solid 10+ in my book.2) Remember that Karen? She had parked and left her car right in front of the bay doors as the place was opening and in the way of other waiting customers. She was upset that someone had moved her car when her purse was in it (which, hello, take the keys and purse with you when you get out of the car, duhh). Nate, who was assisting her, explained that they usually move cars [left in front of the garage] inside to service. Then she asked, in her Karen way, if there a manager [she] could speak to. Nate calmly said he was the supervisor, which kinda stopped her in her tracks. (I think she was surprised because hes a person of color.) All in all, he was super professional and seemed well aware of how to de-escalate the situation.3) Not only did they fix my check engine light issue, they also replaced a rear brake light I didnt realize was out. ON A SUNDAY. It took a few hours, as Nate had warned, but I was able to see my dad on Fathers Day because of their help.Rohnert Park, youve got a good thing here. Appreciate em while theyre around. Its natural to expect quality service, but given their high customer volume and low staff numbers, be understanding (and not a Karen)!

There were very nice and diagnosed my car problem very quickly and free of charge. The owner of the shop also gave me an extremely good deal for my car repair. He even offered to fix my car the same day I brought it in! I will definitely come back here next time my car needs repairing.

I gave 2 stars because at least they were nice. We got an oil change a few days before Thanksgiving and the oil plug was not tightened all the way and flew out. We were on our way to Tahoe, and it caused us to be stranded on the side of a very precarious part of 80 by Auburn with my entire family in the car, husband, 3 1/2 year old, 9 month old and my cat. There was no shoulder and my car started smoking so I had to stop. If I drove it another 20 secs the mechanic that fixed it told me I would have blown my engine and there’s most likely residual damage to the engine. We could have been hit by a car or more likely a semi every second we sat there and we were there for well over an hour. There was a snowstorm coming, my mom had to leave work drive two hours to pick us up and then drive two hours to bring us back to Tahoe. The tow truck driver tried to tow the car to Truckee where we were and was unable to because of the storm so we had to have it fixed in Auburn. So that’s another 2 hours each way my mom had to drive. I contacted Mobile 1 and he said he wanted to talk to the person that fixed car because he didn’t believe it could be the drain plug, and he would call me back. 2 days later, no call so I call him. He said he spoke to the guy, and asked how much it was to fix and told me to send him a copy of the receipt which I did. I wanted to be reimbursed not only for the fix, but the gas and oil change too. He only offered to pay for the fix and I could get a free oil change. Said he’d send a check out that day. I figured whatever I just want this over with, so I accepted. Weeks later I still had not received the check. I called them back and they said they would send it, still didn’t receive the check, called back she said she’d send it personally, gave my address again and still didn’t receive the check. Finally I get a call from them, they didn’t even remember my name or have my address. Then I finally received the check, and it is not even the full amount. I’m traumatized from the whole experience and feel so disappointed that they could be so negligent. I really did not wanna have to resort to writing this, but I am pretty appalled at the lack of response and sympathy for the situation. My car sounds awful and has not been the same since as well. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else, it was one of the scariest things I’ve ever been through and I will not be back in for my free oil change.Update: Not even a response from this post. Just a couple random calls and texts from a guy called Glen. Is this the same Glen? No clue, who leaves professional messages without referencing where you’re from? Glen, from mobile 1 lube express, would have been nice. Instead I feel intimidated and have no clue who is calling and texting me. If it was you and you’d like to make things right, than please leave a more detailed message.

Ive always had very positive experiences here, except for recently when I called to inquire about the cost of a service they provide. I found the person on the other end to be curt and abrasive. Also, the service they offer there was on the high side. Anyway, I left the conversation with a bad taste in my mouth as I found the apparent attitude of this person to be very off-putting.

They were able to get me in quick and get everything I needed done.

These guys!! Brought my pinto back to life for a great price. New water pump this last time. I had a hard time finding someone that wanted to give my 73 some TLC. A good friend told me to give them a shot they gave me a better price and got it done. I cant say enough. Im sure my little pinto will need more help down the road, so Ill most definitely be back. They are also super fast a great on oil changes on my pickup.

I took my VW Jetta in because I was hearing noises from the driver side wheel. I ended up needing brakes, and a hub and axle due to rust from when living on the east coast and the costal salt air. I can’t thank Nate and Glenn enough for taking such good care of me and giving me AMAZING prices on everything they did for my car. The process took a couple days since many things needed to be done so they gave me a car so I had one to drive because I had work. When I got my car back it sounded amazing !! Plus they cleaned it and put on new wipers for me. The customer service was amazing. I’ll be back for the future and seriously recommend this place. Thanks again guys!

Needed a quick oil change pulled up and was served right away

I went in to see why my car didnt pass smog. I needed a good amount of work done. They went above and beyond to give me the best prices, in fact, some of it was at whole sale price. They stayed until I could get there even though they had been closed an hour. And they came early so I could pick up my car and go to work. They were kind, friendly and awesome customer service! I highly recommend them.

This place is awesome! The people here went above and beyond to make my experience fantastic! I went in for a simple oil change with a few questions about the way my car was running. I suspected it to be a transmission problem and soon after Glenn, the owner, took it upon himself to lend me a car while he contacted his transmission guy. He got my car checked out and back to me with in the day, and also referred me to another mechanic soon after who could better suit my needs. He also replaced my brake lights on top of it all at no cost! Just shows how genuine and honest they are here! Mobil one is reliable place that wont try and up-sell you a bunch of stuff you dont need and they are down to earth people who get the job done quickly! Not a bad service i would have liked it to be faster but i also understand that i showed up 30 mins before closing to get an oil change done on a car that uses very specific oil which they did have in stock and they did a very good job and were knowledgeable and polite despite being very busy with several other customers. And it is a plus that they were open on Tuesday which is a plus because the place I usually go to is not open on Sundays.

I took my car in for the usual oil change. From a thorough inspection, the mechanics Rabbit and Glenn told me that they had found other things wrong. They explained to me the problem and how it can be fixed very thoroughly, but in an understandable manner - which is great for someone like me who doesnt know much about mechanics!In the waiting room they want their customers to feel comfortable. I had dressed unexpected with how cold the day was going to be and they offered to turn the heater up for me. I denied, but it was a very genuine gesture.Ive been coming here for the past 2 years and I definitely will continue to do so - they are trustworthy in their work!
