Decent deals on very few things. Higher prices then most places on alot of products. For instance blueberry muffins for 6 dollars for 4. Aldis down the street 4 muffins for 3 dollars and are better! Went to get a sub and the employee didnt know how to make it and took about 10 minutes to figure out how to cut the roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No exaggeration.

Love shopping at Tops supermarket! They always have great deals on their meat well actually on their entire store.

Prices keep climbing....selection is sparse outside store brand... competition is what would shape this place up....not really a fan.

This grocery store reminds me a lot of Giant, a grocery store more in Pennsylvania. Its more name brand than Walmart, great selection, and always gives me that nostalgia from when I lived more south. There arent as many cashiers as their could be, so theres a line more times than not. Otherwise, its a good store to shop in.

Way overpriced! I dont know what the difference is between the Kens dressing at Walmart because Tops is a dollar more?! A dollar more it seems in everything! The chicken at the deli always taste awful and refrigerated so I never can enjoy a meal there. I do like how its clean and open an extra hour later than Walmart during the pandemic but thats about it.

I was not happy with number of people not wearing masks over their face 3 out of 4 were wearing them under the nose. 1 person was at the customer service counter and was wearing her mask under her chin. Nothing said. I shop wear I feel safe under the law

Way too expensive. Go to walmart or price chopper for semi cheaper. Aldi if you really want cheapest most of the time. Now I remember why I never come here, if I didnt have a gift card from my work, nope. Will not be back.

I got a run to tops a couple of times I don’t shop there that much because of the high prices but one thing that I don’t want to say and I am only being honest is nobody wife still in the carts when you come into the store not just like when you go to Walmart

Absolutely LOVE TOPS fresh, made to order subs. Employees are always very friendly and helpful. They are always more than willing to accommodate my orders. Fantastic subs at fantastic prices!

I love that tops stores do not judge you for choosing not to wear a mask...they dont have the mask nazis walking around harassing people, or giving the disapproving looks. Tops has gained a new customer...I will never shop Walmart again. Some.products are slightly higher in price, but that is fine with me!

The store sells nice things and different from price chopper, but.... the lines and lack of no self checkoyt are a humongous deficit ! Definitely not enough employees! I left a full cart !

I only shop the sales here. If stuff isnt on sale its expensive. Im leary of buying meat here because a few times its been rotten.

High prices dirty store and absolutely filthy bathroom with one stall and the lock is broken and the door doesnt stay shut in the stall it opens on its own so if you have to sit down anyone can just walk in you

Usually have a good buy on some fruit item and the bakery items are delicious! But overall price chopper has better deals and regular prices overall. This tops bathroom is nasty and has been for years. It badly needs a serious update. Staff is nice and efficient.

Tops is more expensive than most grocery stores but I found that they were allways fully stocked with everything everyone needed especially during the covid 19 issues we are all going threw at this time . Thank you tops and for all of the tops employees for being there for us 😁

A bit more pricey than other grocery stores in town but a great produce department and the best subs in Rome.

This place is really clean and organized. The staff is really nice but however I must give this rating because there stuff is soooooo expensive. I can easily chop my food bill in half without skipping out on quality elsewhere.

Being from Buffalo originally, I was glad there is Tops in Rome so I can buy things not normally found in the area, such as Webers mustard. The variety is slim, meat dept/deli doesnt exist. Just a cooler. 2 thin stuffed pork chops only $8. Produce must be shipped from Erie County and it looks it. All prices are high. Just a quick stop to pick up a few things went well until I got to the registers. Only one cashier, as usual. After 5 minutes waiting with only 2 customers in front of me, and then another 3 customers behind me, cashier calls for another cashier. Ive waited the longest. They pull the last person in line to cash out. Meanwhile, that first person in line just completed her EBT transaction and can now pay with her charge card. Theres usually old ladies that pay with checks.I can overlook the pricing and poor selection, but I cant overlook being held hostage every time I cash out when theres only 1 cashier. No self checkout lines, which I detest, but would rather use that then wait in line. Some people get road rage. I get Tops rage. Then that old Tops jingle starts playing in my head, Tops never stops, ripping you off!Warm beer in cooler! Arghandab!
