I been renting a washer since Dec 2019 they have taken payments automatically off my debit card every week . I called in may of 2021 and was told the washer was paid off and since then no more payments were taken off my card so I get a letter saying for me to return the property because I still owed money. If I owed money then they should of continued to take payments off my card. They can take me to court. This is their fault. I was paying

Ms. Sophia is a God send! She helped me tremendously! GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE! She shows compassion and humanity unlike other retail managers. She is the best! It all started with a phone call to the store Mrs. Karen was the amazing Manager that answered the phone and its been amazing ever since! We ordered our bed from them delivery went amazing Ive called back each time getting someone new on the phone from the different days Ive called they all addressed me directly from my name each call in every staff has been amazing super friendly helping me along my agreement Im looking more into getting more items for my home next stop is a bed for our daughter this rent a center sets it self far and beyond away from the others this store itself is amazing! I walked in the door feeling like Im getting the items I want the items shown are things I love and not random items I wont want but each item I have explained to them I wanted was exactly the kind of item looked for in my head like they know I wanted that exact item! Mrs. Karen and Mrs. Sophie are amazing with great staff very friendly hard working employees each day

I would like to know what happened to the Manager Ms. Sophia and who in the he-- is this inexperienced nasty attitude person Karen. I dont know who the owner is but you lost my business and the people I recommended go to this store go somewhere else. Ive known Ms. Sophia over 15 years and a lot of purchases I made at this store. You lost a valuable asset that was knowledgeable and ran this store with great skill and customer service that you look for when youre purchasing furniture and large appliances. I just hope wherever she went she receives a great raise and took her customers with her. Shame, shame on the owner. Thought you wanted to make 💰 money not hire a manager that knows nothing. This is a damn shame 😡😤😠.

Where should I begin? Walking into the doors of this location I felt very welcomed. The customer service that I’ve received here was nothing less than EXCEPTIONAL. I purchased bedroom furniture, a tv, and a mattress. I was very pleased with the amount of help that I received from the young man Terell. I HIGHLY recommend making this rent a center your place to rent from. The staff is not only committed to their customers, but very professional to ensure quality service.SincerelyAmber B

Sophies store is the showplace of Rent-A-Center in Baltimore. Her very large location is full of beautiful and well merchandised furniture, attractively laid out, inviting you to give it a try. Her staff is super friendly. If you live in the area and need furniture, electronics, appliances, or computers, this is THE flagship location, and shopping here is a treat.

Seven months ago, I received furniture from this store which cost $2050 at 6 months same as cash sale price. For six months I paid a total of $3200 and the seven month I was charged another $189. I called the store and was told that I still owe over a thousands dollars which will bring my $2050 worth of furniture to about $5000. When they delivered the furniture, it was damaged and they agreed to replace it with a different sofa. At this time, nobody has called me back and I will call my bank to get my money back from this month. I still do not know how a $2050 sale turned into a $5000+ charge. I was charged $500 a month. The store customers service stinks and delivery people damage doors, walls and furniture. I wish I can give this story no stars, but for now please be warned.

After two weeks from the start I liked the customer service then it began with the delivery 1st day weather wasnt goo understandable. 2nd day a no call no show on an employee and no call from them stating we have to deliver to you tommorow. Couch didnt come till thursday then they couldnt get the couch in my apartment. So they offered me another couch I said fine so here it is 3rd week couch was supposed to be delivered today call the store and was told by management a delivery truck just came in and someone else will call me back. I dint stand for this bs i gave u a month worth payment I ha e been waiting for my couch if I dont recieve the call today about the couch Im going in and getting my mo ey back and going somewhere that has better communication. I work in customer service and we dont treat people like this at all. There work ethic sucks

No stars at all ... why ... you stink period,, after coming into the store and filling out the paperwork they tell us at the end we needed our pay receipts, so we leave and then had to go back and give them the paperwork after that we waited for them to call our references of which we gave the standard four references .all of which where legitimate references,, after they called the first three references .my landlord my brother and my best friend out of state they had one more to call my sister and it seemed that they didnt even try to call her .after i had called the store back several times to get them to verify my last reference and after calling my sister to call them back several times and left messages with the management they still had not verified my last reference after almost a week of phone tag and the credit manager not being in or out to lunch or on the phone i was finally tired of waiting and trying to get a hold of these people to verify my last reference,, they are slow,, their vocal expressions on the phone are monotone and not very pleasant you can tell the manager doesnt like his job at all, and they are slower then hot molasses on a summer day,, morale of the story, dont rent from these clowns,, after full research you can but almost half the stuff they have in the inventory for way lower prices if you do layaway programs or just be smart and save your money . i was in the market for a computer and a 55 inch tv,, got my tv 55 inch from best buy and it will be here today and my computer will be here in December. if you can help it, dont buy from these people,, after looking at the same computer for 600. at a retail store and they wanted 1700 after two years of paying the inflated price they put on it ..i dont know about other rent a centers and how they operate but the one by the giant grocery and the sams club in the roseldale shopping area sucks . and the prices are outlandish,, i still got my tv and paid half of what i would have with rent a center,, the American people cant be this desperate to purchase over inflated products at huge finance charges from a crappy company who doesnt follow up with their customers . and then if there is a problem they dont treat you right,,, do us all a favor .. close your doors,, and this is after i myself and my wife have paid off other products from rent a center in Pennsylvania,, three times,, the Baltimore rent a centers stink,,, but then what doesnt stink in Baltimore,, by the way it would not be a star on this thread if it didnt make me press the star to post this thread,,, one star and thats by force

Worst customer service anywhere I make my payment on time every two weeks and my last 3 payments by Monday calling me they didnt get it and the manager took my payment but he doesnt remember I keep telling him Ive made my payment he doesnt like that fact that I got loud and hangs up on me..then calls back saying it was a glitch in the system..now my problem is everytime I make a payment over the phone sometimes they charge me 1.99 for an over the phone payment and sometimes they dont charge me I guess its the mood there in...never again will I get anything from this place again after I pay off what I got ...AND I MEAN NEVER AGAIN...J/S
