Ricky (the owner) was helpful, patient, and accommodating from the moment we stepped into the showroom. He was also a little indulgent to my 81 yr old mother (which she loved). Theres great selection here and the choice was easy. We found beautiful quartz countertops for the semi-renovation/refresh of her kitchen. The price was very reasonable with 50% down and the balance due at delivery. The turn-around time was incredibly short. After laser measurements were taken we had very beautiful perfectly installed countertops and backsplashes in under a week. Everyone (sales, receptionist, laser technician, and installers) was super professional and efficient. The installers sent to our home (Horacio and Cristian) were respectful and good at their trade. They went beyond the scope of their work and even corrected an error made by our cabinet contractor (another company). We are grateful as we wouldnt have been able to do this work ourselves. We had never purchased any counter tops from GRANITE MR, but from the first time we arrived, we knew this was the place to get the best deal and the best advice. Alexis was very helpful offering suggestions on what material to purchase for our counter top, as well as, color and style. She offered suggestions, without pressure. We decided on Quartz manufactured by Cambria. Alexis also suggested that we drive to Beltsville to see the actual slab we would purchase. We are really glad we did, because when we saw the slabs, and there are many, we actually decided on another pattern. After our slab was delivered to GRANITE MR, Ricky sent us pictures of the computer assisted cut and design. We also decided to come into their site to see it in person. Once we signed off, it only took a couple of days for our countertops to be delivered. The installation went as smooth as the buying experience. The 2 gentlemen came, removed our old Corian counter top and installed the new in a couple of hours. What a transition! The whole experience was so seamless, we decided to purchase a new granite top, in a contrasting color, for our island from them as well.Thank you GRANITE MR.

Our experience in working with MR Granite was excellent. We visited several other companies and were treated very well, but MR Granite really went the extra mile to help us make a decision even to the point of finding other patterns before we came back to order what we originally had planned to order. Alexis was fantastic. She offered another pattern which was an even better match for our bathroom vanity. We went with her suggestion which turned out to work better with our bathroom design. Very pleased with their service. We would highly recommend this company.

Didnt have the option to consider doing business with this company. They immediately picked up the phone TWICE and hung up. You can here them slam it down! Alexis excuse, we get robocalls. However, I was not given a chance to say hello! Not professional way of doing business at all! She was warned this review was coming. Please, no rebuttal is needed.

We could not be more pleased with the experience and the finished kitchen countertop purchased from Granite MR. Alexis was our first friendly encounter and she explained how the process worked. Ricky went out of his way to patiently answer all of our questions and show us many options as it took us a while to decide - this was our first experience purchasing a stone countertop. After looking at many options were able to select a beautiful quartz design and even mark the exact 2 slabs that are now in our kitchen. The laser measuring process was professional and efficient and produced perfectly sized countertops for our spaces including expertly carved notches for our cabinets. The installation process was excellent and professional, they are obvious experts in handling, fitting and securing the giant stones and attaching sinks. Thank you so much for a beautiful finished product and we will be back for future stone projects!

Absolutely beautiful granite and quartz. Very exotic designs to choose from. Not sure admit the price but if you want something different than most, try this place

The best customer service. Alexis and Ricky are awesome. This is my third project and they always help me make the right choices and go above and beyond. Their huge selection, knowledge, customer service, and onsite work is amazing.

Four stars because the counters look great, but communication was very lacking. The installers seem to know what they are doing, but seems like the logistics of the business are pretty poor.In the shop we had no issues working with the sales people, and they took a dimensioned drawing I made and gave us a pretty accurate quote on the spot (ended up within 10% of the actual price). They had a great selection of stone in stock, so we really knew what we were getting before we bought it.It was during the templating and installing portions of dealing with this company that they lost a star. First, they always said they would call me 30 min before people would arrive, and this NEVER happened. Second, the guy doing the templating (which is all done with a laser measuring device) didnt notice that one of my sinks was not sitting in square (despite me telling him several times), so he had to come back on another day. I found this out by them texting me and saying he would be there the next afternoon, got no time estimate, then at text at 11:40am asking if I could make the 40min drive from work to home in 20min... During the install, it seems the shop didnt read the drawings correctly, and they didnt polish the back edge of my island counter, meaning someone had to come out the next day and do the install.I ended up taking 3 half days off work and a lunch break when I really should have only needed to do one. To their credit, the company always answered their phone, but dont expect them to call you first, even if they say they will. Their scheduling and quality control departments need an overhaul, but in a couple months Ill have forgotten that and just be happy to have a nice countertop.

Fast and friendly expert service. Granite MR helped me with a small marble side table top. Mike and Ricky were both incredibly friendly, and very helpful. Their state of the art machinery allowed them to complete the top quickly and with precision. I would absolutely recommend this company, and would use them again in the future. (Kelly Smith)

The counter top i purchased was beautiful and was installed efficiently. The compsny was very helpful and nice to work with. The only suggestion i would make if you are also getting a sink, is to make sure the hole on the sink is in the same place as your old one, so that you plumbing will work.

A fabulously friendly business to deal with. I found them focused on customer service from the initial scoping and pricing all the way through to installation. Very competitive pricing without a single compromise to the quality of materials and installation. The final product added a timeless enhancement to our overall design.

They were good up until my granite had to be delivered. They didn’t call the day before to inform me the time they were coming. I called 3-4 different times the day of to see where they were and when they were coming because I informed them I had to pick up my kids at 3 o’clock.They showed up at 3:05 pm while it was pouring raining. Had they gotten there when they were supposed to my carpet wouldn’t have been installed yet, but it was. When they arrived I informed them their shoes needed to be removed or they needed to put on booties over their shoes since it was muddy from the rain. They did not come prepared and expected me to provide booties. I told them they’re expected to have them as they are a professional business. Instead of going to get booties or something to put down on my brand new carpet that was installed that day the workers left!They said they had to come another day and I informed them it needed to be done that day and it was no my fault they were ill prepared to protect a homeowners investment. I had to call and argue with the manager Ricky in order to get the workers to return and my nanny watch them while they put something down to enter my home with the granite. It is deplorable that I have to argue with a manager to emphasize my home being protected from mud and rain water and requesting a professional business to wear shoe booties. After all the arguing they removed their shoes (which they informed me they weren’t allowed to do because the granite could fall on their feet) because they didn’t have the blanket or towels they informed me they had over the phone.Prices also aren’t the most competitive. Look other places

Terrible experience: They did my kitchen top. Apparently a small piece was broken out and simply glued on becoming more and more visible every month. They did not show in time for the first appointment and then just took a photo. Second time they did not show at all and when I called the manager had decided not to touch this. Find a more reliable shop!

Broke my customers sink. Miscut the backsplash. Miscut the sink opening. Communication slow and poor. Counter looks good, but too much of a hassle to deal with again.

I dont even know where to start. If youre considering doing business with this company RUN! Dont walk, run as fast as you can.I could get over the huge mess they left in my kitchen (pic attached), I could get over the fact they couldnt center the cooktop in its cabinet (pic attached), I could get over the multiple pieces they cut to the wrong size and shape (pic attached), I could get over the rude counter help, I could get over the missed appointments, I could get over the piece of granite that cracked from what I believe was improper installation (pic attached), I could get over paying them to fix said crack that ended up looking worse when they were done (picture attached). What I cant get over is being lied to OVER and OVER again.According to them, having a dishwasher installed 8 feet from the crack is what broke it. Even though the glue holding the counters against the cabinets was solid and intact (indicating it had never been lifted off cabinets) this is their story and they’re sticking to it. Picture is attached for you to make your own judement.In late July Granite MR agreed to replace a 37” x 3” (1-2 sq feet) section of granite in front of our cooktop and seam it into the existing slab. We agreed to a price of $750 to do this, which is approximately just under 20% of the original price for the ENTIRE KITCHEN’s granite countertops (about 50 square feet). At this time, they had us come in to pick a piece of granite that “matched”. We were happy to get rid of the ugly repaired piece and set our appointment for August 3, 2018.Here’s where it gets good. August 3rd comes and it’s a Friday. They call an hour or so before they’re supposed to arrive at 4-6PM and said they can’t make it that day…running late at another job. We were disappointed because that meant we had no cooktop to use until they could get out, but were hopeful that they would show up for the next appointment on August 7, 2018. Well, our hope was misplaced. August 7 came and as it got later in the day we suspected no one was showing up. We called to verify and sure enough no one was coming. The reason this time…they did not want to cut the small replacement piece from a new slab of granite, they wanted to find a scrap.Why did they have is come in to pick the slab for the replacement piece almost a month prior? Why didn’t they tell us this on August 3rd when they didn’t show up for that appointment? Why were we paying almost 20% of the original cost for the kitchen if they weren’t using a new slab? Why wouldn’t the owner or manager call to talk with us when they said they would over and over again?The reason is because this business is not run in a reputable way. They do not treat their customers with any respect and will literally pull you around on a leash in hopes of getting a resolution, all the while knowing they are not going to do anything to help you.RUN Far away from them and use a company that stands behind their word AND their work.

Not really prepared for walk ins. I felt like my business was unwanted so I shall go elsewhere.
