Ive waited for years to find the right snakeskin boot design, and this place delivered the goods. The help is great at finding what you want and get them pretty quick. They know their stuff. They also carry a great selection of work boots and snow boots. There is plenty of western wear (shirts, hats, belts, etc) to choose from. Great people to help you out. I will be back for another pair of skin boots soon.

I rarely leave reviews online but I just wanted to say the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Ive always had a hard time finding good work boots that work well for me. Finally decided to stop at Chester Boot Shop after driving past it for all my life. I was able to get my favorite pair of western boots (that I can not find a new pair of anywhere) cleaned up and fit better as well as a new pair of American made work boots. On top of that I learned a lot about the construction of boots and how they affect your feet and the rest of your body!Really wonderful guys that I met there. I will definitely be returning for all my boot, hat, and belt needs!!

High quality boots, sold at reasonable prices. Sales men are not pushy and they answered all my questions honestly :) Bought my boots months ago and still loving them. I can tell that they will last me years. (I cant say the same about the $50 boots I would have to buy EVERY YEAR).It does take them a while to get worn in (resilient quality material), so dont go for a hour long hike as your test run.

I bought a pair of boost winter always did because 1i can were then all year long and keep my feet dry all year long for at least. Also insulation boots fits better for me. Execp cowboy boots I can were then about anytime. Any way the service is great and helpful. And treat everyone nice if youre just looking are buying something. Boots are made in the USA and built well.

I wish I could give more stars, I purchased a premium quality pair of chippewa brand boots and wore them at work for two days and my feet were not too happy, I called the third day and the gentlemen were happy to work with me to resolve my issue. They fitted me with different insoles and stretched the boots a tad bit wider overnight. They felt amazing when picked up and all was free of charge since the boots were just purchased there. This is the kind of business that is far and few between these days and I will be a lifetime customer here.

Awesome service and great selection! I went in looking for a safety boot for work and walked out with the perfect pair (Made in the USA) and a pair of hiking boots as well. I must have tried on 15 pairs and asked double the questions. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and Zack knew the brand of shoe I was wearing and even noticed that I had a high arch. You cant beat the local businesses with the right knowledge!! Go here. They have what you need.

Been looking for a specific type of boot for riding for months. Couldnt find one or didnt have my size. Walked in to Chesters and was promptly greeted. After stretching part of the boot I was looking at out for comfort, I literally walked out with a new pair 10 minutes later. Great place with a wide variety and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Chesters boots is a great store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They might charge a little more than an online retailer but their quality service is well worth it. I purchase Carolina work boots from them and they are the best boots Ive ever had!

Bought a new pair of boots last summer from chesters. The sales guys (2 of them helped me out) where very helpful in finding me a pair that fit well.They recommended there tough toe treatment. If your hard on the toes of your boots, get this. After 10 months of welding sparks, and crawling around on concrete to get in and out of projects being built its starting to wear in one spot. I will be contacting them to see it they can touch them up.All in all very happy with the service I received and the products i purchased. I highly recommend anyone looking for boots to check out chester boot shop. You wont be disappointed!And yes i waited a bit before reviewing. To give time for product review.

My experience at Chester Boots was exceptional. Treated very good by well professional and courteous salespersons. I have bought several pairs of boots from them since 1997. Took in a pair of black buffalo skin boots to be widened and polished the did great on both .

Great selection of work and casual boots, I didnt make it over to the cowboy side. Very skilled and knowledgeable staff. One of the few places that has actual made in America boots, not just assembled foreign materials. I bought a Chippewa winter work boot, and was back to buy a casual boot shortly because I was so happy. I was very happy with the second pair, a pair Carolinas. I drove out from Redford, and will again for summer boots. I probably could have found a cheaper pair online, but I would not have had the knowledge and experience of the staff to rely on. That is priceless to me!

Dr Martens, all the way! If you want customer service, this is the place to go! I cant imagine going to a brick and mortar store to look at shoes, try them on, then ask the owner to cut his margin to match an online store with no overhead. Price matching is only done between brick and mortar stores, i have never seen it done when online prices were involved. I have found great footwear usually comes at a cost. The prices here are fair and service great as this is a specialty store! Long time customer.

Looks like great selection, but customer service lacking. Knew what I wanted and tried to find my size. Clerk stopped helping other female customer who didnt seem to know what she wanted but was looking at more expensive boots than the rubber muck boots I needed. He told me he didnt know when they would get another shipment in, and didnt ask for my number to call when they were available. He just went back to the female customer young enough to be his daughter. I purchased new boots at large chain store that day.
