This place is amazing! Theyve got something for every budget. The staff are also very knowledgable and eager to help. The store is well stocked every time I visit. Its a good 20 min drive for me but well worth it!

The store is great, and we shop here in an effort to support brick and mortar businesses. To be told though in 2021 that they wont price match their own website because of shipping is ridiculous. The staff here are wonderful, polite, knowledgeable, everything a thriving business needs. Its unfortunate that a policy like this is crippling them.

Everyone at the alpharetta location is so helpful. I have to say that I am really super excited over Brian though because I asked his opinion as an artist and I doubted honestly about something he mentioned.. Decent selection of art materials. Slightly over priced but the staff’s behavior was appalling. They were unspeakably rude. They actually told my mother that they refused to accommodate her handicap and she should shop online instead. Most brick and mortar stores are struggling enough with Covid without referring their patrons to competitors. I guess the clerk is hoping if she puts them out of business she can get more in unemployment anyways. 2 weeks later and I’m still shocked.

Aside from my own art geeky love of Blicks, the people there are really knowledgeable and helpful. Also the Blick products are surprisingly good. Blick recently bought Utrecht so you can get some really good oil paints for Blick brand prices. If you are looking for good quality art supplies, much cheaper and better selection that craft supply stores.

A clean and organized store with lots of options and supplies available at a premium price.In my opinion this location seems to cater to someone experienced in their craft. The employees would continually ask if we needed anything but never really seemed to want to engage in conversation. They sorta of follow and stock you as you walk around the store( please stop this).Lastly, make sure to get the membership( its free) if something is listed cheaper on the website it will automatically price match the lower price. Without this membership you will definitely pay more.

Its a clean facility, staff is kind. They dont sell pencil grips. Otherwise, they have a lot of cool art supplies from oil paints to very niche hobbies like Henna tattoo supplies. Very cool place. A wee bit on the pricey side, but worth it in most cases.

I had a great experience at the Blick store today! I went in for some mat boards to use for projects in school. I asked an associate at the counter (I cannot remember a name) and she walked me over and found exactly what I needed! I signed up for a Blick card because I am a student and need supplies all the time, got a great deal on the products and even got one of my boards cut perfectly for my project! Every bit was great and would recommend this store to anyone.

Good store, location and parking. I just wish the prices were a little bit cheaper. Some things I can find on Amazon for about half the price, however they do have some unique items that you cant find anywhere else. It is a perfect stop though if you need a last-minute item right now and cannot wait for an Amazon delivery that may or may not show up on time 🤣

This store is a treasure trove of creative ingredients. Not only do they offer many brands of all types of paints, they have tons of pencils and markers as well. Theres a huge variety of paper and sketchbooks, art supplies for kids, interesting gifts, art magazines, art storage, even easels and drafting tables! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to advise.

I am very disappointed that blick has raised the price on custom printing, before covid I could get 4 x 3 prints for $1.04 each with the 50 % discount, fast forward to today when the same size print would cost me $3.35 with a 60 % discount. Has Blick not heard the term starving artist, I know they have had decreased revenue but so have I.

Ok so really no matter what sort of art supplies you need Blick has everything youd want. Honestly walking in there I didnt notice any discipline neglected. Their stock is the best! I can walk in and just get lost looking around at all the cool stuff best store for any artist. My only complaint is there arent enough of them, locations I mean. Need something you seriously cant go wrong at Blicks!

All of what I need here as a painter and drafter. All my paints and mediums (including some better makers Im now using whom I hadnt yet heard of), paper and canvas, brushes, mats and frames; and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Im also considering easels and furniture for my 12-year-old. Very much recommending this for you readers.

Great place for art supplies and for people watching. Its fun to count the tattoos and think about what they will look like in five or ten years. The art supplies are things that you often cant get elsewhere or have to order blindly on the internet. Here you can see the supplies and ones that you wouldnt think of considering online. Nice clean well maintained store.

Great experience. Store was clean and well stocked. I found everything I was looking for. Staff member Chelsea was very helpful and thorough in answering my questions. The only problem I had was my self control.

A bit pricey but they have the best, of the best, art supplies. And they carry stuff, you cant find anywhere else. Its worth at least going in just to look around, if for no other reason, but to see stuff you didnt even know about. Who knows, maybe that something you were looking for, and didnt know what it was, you may just find there. Then again you may see something that might spark a whole new creative idea! As an artist, Blick Art Supplies is my candy store. The staff is very helpful. The selection of interesting products is a creative blast in itself. My grandson visited with his mother, while purchasing a gift card for me. Can I buy something? Can I buy something?, he begged his mom.😁

Made the drive from Alpharetta area to try and find items for a brass rubbing class for my daughters school. The staff was knowledgeable and had a friendly disposition. I loved their variety when it came to all their products. And everything was labeled and organized wonderfully.

But nonetheless I am late for an assignment in a color theory class and I have been driving all day to different art stores trying to find what I need to finish it. I walked through the doors and right away they helped me. Not only did they help me and get me what I needed but when they were out of a product they were knowledgeable enough to tell me what to substitute. Absolutely loved this location! I wish it wasnt thirty minutes away. There was a girl with a short pixie cut and glasses (I wish I could of gotten her name!) that looked like a student as well. She was able to help me out today and pick out everything I needed from watercolor brands to the paper and great substitutes for whatever they didnt have in stock at the moment. She treated me like a friend instead of some normal customer like they would at Sam Flax. There was easy parking (unlike the location in Atlanta) and overall it was a success. Thank you Blick!

Blick Art has been around for a long time. It used to be off the corner of hwy 9 and 92. It is a great place to go if you are looking for creative materials, they have everything from paint canvases to awesome sauce pens. The staff is super helpful and if you are just getting into art or the creative world Blick is a good place to start.

Had a semi sad experience yesterday (Saturday December 14th). Went in with my illustrator 18 year old to trim a piece of commissioned art she had created, and to ask for advice on packaging it to mail. We planned on purchasing whatever we needed to accomplish this and picking up a few other miscellaneous items. We were informed by the male working there, in what can only be described as a snotty attitude filled way, that they do not trim art work. He turned away from us so curtly and dismissively. Fortunately after I asked for suggestions, a young woman said you can use our cutting surface if you’d like to do it yourself. My daughter already had marks on the piece. We purchased a foam ruler and exacto blade so as not to have to go all the way back home. There’s a full customer access area and multiple measuring tables in the back which is what my daughter had seen and had given her the impression this was a service. The woman working back there(in framing) was even more rude and nasty than the male in front. It was palatable. Rudely staring and commenting. It was awkward, uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. My daughter and I both could not wait to get out. One person was kind and helpful, and we thanked her. I’m just not sure how people can keep their jobs who are so blatantly nasty to customers who are kind. What was an exciting moment for my daughter was mostly spoiled.

Found the website and thought that the prices were very very reasonable and made a list of the items that I wanted to purchase drove an hour and 15 minutes from Gainesville to Woodstock only to find out that the prices online I have nothing to do with the prices are at the store. I purchased a sumi e brush that was $7.50 online said the price was $4.69 thats a difference of 40% more than what the website says. The same applied to the ink and the paper that I purchased. When I inquired about the price difference I was told that theres no way to know what the in-store prices are via the website. And I was told that the shipping charges would make it even more costly if you purchased from the website. Bottom line prices are misleading you will not get a deal for your money. Very disappointed after driving a total of 2 1/2 hours. Hell I should have went to Hobby Lobby and Michaels and used my coupons. Never again.

Great selection and the people were very helpful. We are not artists and they helped us anyway. Sometimes places that cater to certain people get snooty towards other people. These people did not do that at all but tried to understand what we were looking for and showed us several options.

This is my artist-wife’s go-to store, and she adores it. So it gets 5 stars even though shopping of any kind makes me want to stab my eye with a stick.

Lots of art supplies however I was ignored the entire time I was inside the store. I tried asking a couple employees questions and they completely brushed me off or flat out ignored me. I looked around tried to ask about buying an easel and waited for about twenty minutes and the person never came back. I left and ordered my stuff off Amazon instead. Their loss though, not going back. I saved about $200 shopping off of Amazon anyway.

Pros: Reasonably priced, knowledgeable & helpful staff, and a variety of selections.Cons: Seemingly short staffed based on the time it took to check out. I didnt time the experience but it felt like 10-15 minutes waiting.

It was really busy. And, yes it was Christmas time, so I understand trying to help as many customers as you can, but that wasnt even the issue. When I finally got someones attention, I asked about a certain product and was told she thinks its only online before she turned back to talk to her friend again. Yes I said her friend. She didnt brush me off to help another customer, but instead to resume her conversation with another employee. No offer to help order the item nor even checking to see if they did carry it. I gave them 2 stars only because they did have a large selection of art supplies which is nice, but in the future, I wont waste my time actually going to the store for non-service.

Im ignored that a brand that you have on your website is not available online or in the store. The brand is Chroma Archival oils. When I tried to get it online it was back ordered. And then when I went to the store they said they didnt carry it.

I have frequented Blocks for almost 40 years. They carry a wide variety of fine art art supplies and they have some of the best art printing materials for the artist that work in that medium.

Associates were nice and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and helped me find what I needed.

This place is a must if you need the best supplies for your project. It also offers less expensive materials too if money is an issue. Also if you are a student, there are usually discounts on top of already existing discounts. Win win.

So tired of being stalked around this store like Im going to steal something. I work retail and know of the agressive greetings but thats only for people you think are going to steal. Which from the sounds of it is everyone that enters the damn store. Stop coming up to me 10 times, I dont need your help. Its like a passive agressive way of saying you dont want me there. Just unprofessional, once is enough.

Love the variety of Prismacolor pencils and brush markers. Was able to buy individual Gelly Roll markers. It is very nice to be able to buy individual pencils and markers. I will visit this store again.
