Horrible experience. The pricing on the items is not accurate and they decide to charge even higher than the sticker price upon checkout. Save your time and go to a different location.
The men and women were truly amazing people and my wife and I truly appreciate their help and thank you Tony and Michelle reason ❤
Prices are way to high for used items. GW used to have decent prices. I find better quality items and costs and smaller thrift store.
Courteous! good deals! I found a pair of baseball spikes in my size the only pair and they happen to be the color of the bills uniform when the bills were wearing red so I guess that means theyre red theyre Nike alphas. My brother is the director of Nike, Nelson ferris. the store was so polite that they humored me to tell them and share with them a short story which I got smiles and a little bit of laughter. All in all a social sincerity that Id be proud to call home.
Smells great, friendly service, everything was displayed well! I expected better selection, I came looking for winter things and couldn’t find a single coat. Also couldn’t find any toddler clothes for girls. But that’s the risk you take shopping secondhand!
This was the cleanest, sweetest smelling Goodwill ever. Well organized and stuff you would actually need and buy. Great staff too!
Good selection of clothes.Did not see any dvd movies that I have not viewed...Nothing against the location...
Bad experience. This location is trashy.
Awful customer service with the cashier Susan. She should be fired with her attitude. Felt like I was shopping at a garage sale. She literally handed me my clothes bundled up. Not folded.
They mustve had a change in management/procedures or a lot of time bc after having not visited in a while I came to this store and was amazed. Wonderful shopping environment with lovely people that work there. The only complaint is that over the years their prices seem to keep going up like their trying to profit a lot more than help the community by making it affordable shopping for those poor folk they go on and on about helping. If you dont understand what I mean then here: its like reselling used on ebay. Im not sure how else to put it. Anyways refund policy is on a board near register-7days with tags and a receipt absolutely necessary, store credit only. If youre buying multiple things definitely ask if you can get a cheaper price to get them all. Dressing rooms closed, bathrooms open. 9am-8pm not many linens. 🤷
The bathroom is always smelling awful, it spreads to the whole store.
Prices a pretty good. They reorganized the store since the last time I went and it is so much better. There was a perfume smell that was almost too much to handle and it made it hard to be in there. Other than that it was nice.
Dropped off my old printer here oh, and it was quick and easy. Just pulled up outside and a man came out and took it out of my car.
Really liked the new set up and how clean the store is. It doesnt stink as sometimes thrift stores can. Very nice Halloween decorations/displays too. 👍👍
It was clean and organized. I understand why the dressing rooms would be closed, but I dont quite get why the only way you can return items that dont fit is by Exchange or Store Credit only.. kind of a lame way to trap people into keeping their money at this store.
I donate @ donating door. I park my vehicle. I walk into store wearing my mask. I walk the store for hidden gems. Everyone following COVID-19 protocol. Friendly and helpful. Happy camper in Round Rock.
Good selection of clothes and and shoes. Lots of home decor and just stuff stuff stuff!!!!Prices are a little pricey for a thrift store though.
Very clean, a variety of house goods, toys, clothes, tools, furniture, electronics and more. Good prices.
We stayed on line for a fewDidnt buy anything that I liked...Cashier are not helpful...Not coming back anytime soon
Lots of people not wearing masks inside :( I saw an employee have a full conversation with someone not wearing a mask but did not once ask them to put one on. Didn’t really seem like they cared
Large and well organized (for a Goodwill). It seemed more expensive than other local GW stores we have been to. Gotta pay for the extra lights and staff, I suppose.
Cool place but very expensive things that are not worth it
You never know what youll find. I recommend bringing gloves to wear while digging through the bins. You can get poked by unseen hazards and nothing has been cleaned yet. I recommend leather gloves. Also, it can be very competitive when new stuff rolls out. You gotta be quick and devious. Not for the timid.
The staff were very helpful.
Much cleaner and organized since the whole remodel but pricing has definitely gone up and pretty ridiculous since its all donated merchandise. Ive been having better luck finding amazing price points at Walmart Im probably going to stop shopping at Goodwill.
Great store with friendly people
Clean and organized but so expensive. Y’all are going to deter people from shopping at your stores. You get everything donated and you still throw away more than half of the donations. It’s a shame.
Obviously what they have in store is dependent on what is donated to to them therefore a three star rating is representative of what you most likely find there.
Didnt find anything I needed!
Nice place
The folks here are very nice and go out of their way to help you.
Excellent service
Good will is awesome, my brother in law accidently grabbed my things and were donated.. I called the store and ask for a manager. Spoke to Rene and he took the time to look for my belongings.. Found them and called me back so I can go get them.. Nice if him and I give my gratitude.. Thank you again... You guys are awesome... ☺👍
Clean but way over priced. They had the exact same towels you buy at walmart for 2.74 priced at 6.99! More then double the price! Childrens pants that cost $7.99 brand new marked at $7.99 used!
Very clean location, always a good selection, and friendly staff.
This store is clean. Well organized with friendly, helpful staff. Smiles
Love Going here
Its pretty much a typical thrift store. Employees stay far away from customers, there is the whiff of mildew in the air, and if you are lucky you will find a good buy. I went in for some cheap blankets for my dog to use (warmer ones for winter) but the ones they had were priced way too high, as in brand-new equal. This store also features the silent auction book where they keep the good stuff, and people have to put in a price and hope they eventually win. Its a silly way to do it, but some people might be into it.
For a free pair of worn shoes, they wanted almost 20 bucks. When I asked for the manager, the shoe pricing was there. I got a couple different prices from the group of men there. When I told them they were going to lose a 50 dollar sale, they didnt care. This store is nortorius for over pricing. They all shrugged and I walked out. Then heard them talking bad as I walked out.A month previously, I went to buy an item, found some damage on it, they said they would rather throw it in the garbage than to discount it.Say it louder for the people in the back.YOU ARE NOT RETAIL!
Great Facility to shop at. Enjoyed the experience.
It annoys me that Goodwill prices used and sometimes damaged products at a higher price than the item was new. They do not merchandise properly and today I saw two items that were salable on my last visit in...crumbs.Goodwill gets a large portion of their inventory FOR FREE, and prices it STUPID high. They do this because people buy it, fix it up and resell it, like it is an AFFRONT to them. Prices at Goodwill have increased FAR in excess of inflation in the last five years.I still pop in and look, but these days I rarely buy and I NEVER donate to them anymore because they do not serve the community in the most immediate helpful way. Im not saying they do no good, but a single mom should be able to dress her kids affordably at Goodwill and they cant.Shame on Goodwill.
This is a terrible place because the manager had an accusing tone because my price tag fell off on the item I want to return. I went to the counter for an exchange but the price tag fell off. I had to use the bathroom so I walked to the back of store. Then, I went to my car and I found the price tag since it dropped. I return to the counter and the manager ask where did I get a price tag? He implied that I had taken a price tag off an item while I went to the bathroom and place it on the return item. The exchange was only $1.99, and he seems like he is accusing me of putting a price tag on the refund items. Finally he gave me the exchange but warned me this will be the only time he can do this. With the exchange gift card, I gave them back the money by spending more than the refund price. All these items here are donated !!! These items are not personally his to make such a statement in an accusing tone of voice.People have generously denoted these, and I personally have donated several times to Goodwill. He act as if I did a horrible crime for an item that cost $1.99? Was this necessary?
This store is not too bad. Way over-priced though. Come on, this place gets donations, yet sells shirts, shirts now, for $6.99. Not silk shirts, not fancy dress shirts. No. Plain looking dollar store shirts. I give them three stars because they are organized and the employees are nice.
Great selection of clothing & shoes! I saw quite a bit of items that still had tags attached to them. I realize everything changes daily, but this is what was happening, the day I visited this location.
I can find deal or a few everytime I stop by. The cashiers are always super laid back and friendly. A few have gone above and beyond. I have never had a bad experience here since its been open at this location.
Okay selection. I had found some clothing items that I wanted to try on so I rang the bell to alert someone that I needed a fitting room, I was quickly told by an employee that he would be right back with me he just had to find the key to the fitting rooms . I waited for a long time no one came back with a key to open up the fitting room. Other customers had made their way to the fitting rooms. I had told them I pressed the button awhile ago. I didnt want to wait any longer, so I went out of my way and crawled under the doors unlocking them from the other side to let other people and myself into the fitting rooms.
Found something I really needed for trips in the car. Shorts for my guy that hopefully fit. Like that you have 10 days to make sure they fit. This store was pretty neat, but it could have been more organized in places. Staff seemed friendly
Coming here is like going on a treasure hunt. I have a thing for 1960s to early 80s cookware and glassware and for that this is the place to go! You can get that edgy vintage look for a fraction of what you would pay at Anthropology or Crate & Barrel. Take a day off and do a Goodwill of Austin tour! I promise you wont be disappointed!
They never have a shopping cart you sell product that you get 100% of sales from because it’s free to you but can’t have more than 5 crappy shopping carts. Nothing annoys me more. I walk in with two small kids hopping I can plop one in a cart and no.
If you look deep enough you might just find a few gems for the low. Always enjoy my time to look around and shop.
The sales associates were great but the manager in training was rude to me and a couple of associates. She even talked crazy to a disabled associates. She had a smart mouth in her empty head. The place would be perfect if she had people skills.
Great things for diy junkies like myself
Staff are absolutely rude. Very pushy and forceful about their donations. Make customers feel bad. Especially, cashiers named letter S, and some other elderly woman who are extremely unhappy with their jobs. Take their miserable life on the customers. They should not behave toward customers. Making donations are optional. Dont make customers feel bad about themselves and you guys are superior than the customers. That is not good. In that way, you are loosing customers. I dont care goodwill is non profit company. Then, you need to be polite to your customer. I didnt have any problem with other locations of good will. but obviously there are very rude and bitchy employees working there except just one or two. but cashiers, they are extremely rude and bitchy. so be careful when you go there. I also gave out a lot my stuff =, some of them were very new. I already donated a lot. What else do you need? very bitchy and unpleasant place. I seriously not recommend round rock goodwill. Trust me!!!!!! or you go and experience rudeness and you will know it!!!!! I am not blocking you if you really want to go there. just be ready for bitchy attitude toward customers. Thanks.
There is SO MUCH great stuff to paw through here! Ive kept my daughter in Harajuku, Oshkosh, Gap Kids, and other higher-end brands made of good-quality materials for years thanks to Goodwill.
Its getting so expensive. People are donating yet I found recently a set of 4 chairs had a sticker on each of them at $44.99. Clothes with a name brand are $3 more than off brands. This stuff is donated! Then you get to the check out and they want to round up your total. Very old and hard to maneuver shopping cart they all need to be replaced. Now that their prices have gone up maybe they can afford to buy new ones.
Lots to see wish prices were flexible on some items since they are donated. Workers could have a better attitude.
Like Salvation Army Thursdays discount day & savers Tuesday discount day. Prices can be a little high. Believe their CEO makes millions?
Decent store. Staff was friendly but had to stand in a line to try on clothes for almost 20 minutes. Then stand in line to check out for about 10. Big store though.
The staff are nice. I wish the womens dresses were organized by size. My favorite thrift stores are Savers.
I really like this Goodwill. Ive had luck in their weekly auction and just looking around the store on a whim. PRO TIP : Go here if youre in the market for furniture and even televisions. My husband and I bought an almost new Samsung 55 inch LED TV with all the bells and whistles for 150 bucks. Ive also purchased various pieces of furniture at this location on the cheap. The auction takes place on Saturdays and its totally worth a swing by. Give the store a call for the exact times the auction takes place.
Clothes rack are packed to tight. Difficult to find clothes that way. Line was moving to slow. Only had two cashiers. The lady in front of me decided she wasnt going to wait any longer so she walked out with her merchandise. Cashiers did even notice. I meantioned it to the cashier that helped me and all she said was well you know it is the weekend.. Quote on quote. SMH.
Lots of Halloween costumes. Mostly new but some used. Relatively clean store. Many, many many shoes.
Im only giving two stars because I have found cool things here. Apart from that, the one older lady with glasses who seems to be the only cashier is rude to me every single time. Id rather wait longer to get another cashier who has some people skills. This same woman criticized a customer the other night for her toddler having a melt down in the store and she kept saying loudly Take care of your kid. I may be crazy, but her job is to check people out... Not spew hate everywhere.
Very rude and impolite and never want to go back to round rock good will. Employees are unbelievably rude. Especially cashiers. Very unpleasant place to shop in the area. Very unhappy people work there. and their attitude is very rude and very bad. They take their unprofessional bad mood on the customers. and get away with it. Totally not recommend the place. dont go there if you want to be treated with respect. I mean it.
Yes, they had 1/2 price sale today, got some great prices on blue jeans, it was a good deal.☺️
I have had a very disappointing experience with this Goodwill today - found a Laserdisc player there but the test outlet did not work I either area. I asked an employee where the working outlet was and he took it in the back and said it didnt work - I asked him for the item back because I wanted it for spare parts - I repair them ! - and he refused to give it back to me - he was rather flippant about it and said it was put in the salvage and I could not have it back - tried to say because it was broken it could not go out - really - a lot of broken stuff makes it onto the shelves - its Goodwill - not Best Buy. I was very upset and asked about what about the customer being right - buyer beware - I told them I thought they were cheating me - and I said I would not go back there again - and I kicked a metal pole as I left - i was.that angry and frustrated at the shoddy way I was treated. - I would have given only one star - but the visit did start off well when one of the nice ladies answered my questions about winter clothing - thats the good customer service I would have expected at the particular Goodwill - have been to all the GWs in the Central Texas area and this is the worst experience I have ever had there!
A large yet Economical selection of clothes, shoes, electronics, and furniture . This locations employees are always curteous and respectful employees
Always a great selection for all kinds of things!!! Helpful staff, knowledgeable attendants, and a good shopping experience!!
This place was not organized, not enough quality items to look through, and extremely overpriced. For instance a mid size jar was $5.99. I personally wouldnt ever go there again.
Enjoy shopping at this big clean Goodwill in Round Rock. Great selection of clothing and household items. Almost always find a bargain here.
No toy section here... kinda sad to see seeing how I just donated some of my old toys just to know that they wont be put back out.
Lovw this Goodwill. Great selection of clothes nick knack and very clean. Staff is very friendly.
This location is being neglected from Goodwill Corp. Very large store and they have been sorely in need of shopping carts for OVER TWO YEARS. If you dont care about customers being provided decent carts (or even having a cart), put up a Not welcome...shop somewhere else sign. Prices are too high for donated goods...but this is true for most of the locations. Cant understand corporate thinking of not taking care if an existing stores needs, and continually spending hundreds of thousands of dollars putting up brand new stores.
I wad impressed by the neatness and organization of tbe store. The clothes well cared for, better than in most other businesses
Luv shopping here, u never know. What u will find!!!
The older lady practically yelled at me for no reason, and was rude as hell. Never going back because of her attitude there’s other goodwills around.
Well organized and clean location. The staff seem to be pretty laid back and helpful if needed.
Love Goodwill but staff at this location were extremely rude!
Its a good store clean except the girls restrooms 😒😣
Worst goodwill ever. Cashier argued with me when I told him the merchandise he sold me was broke.
Great their people working are good help much more room and variety among others.I found everything I wanted.
Great for dropping off donations - you can drive up and guys unload it all and give you a receipt!
Friendly and helpful staff, not as good a collection as some of the other stores Ive visited and small in comparison, but still good.
The store is clean. The staff is friendly. And the prices & selection is good.
Theres all sorts of things, and auction make them seem cheap. You could definitely get some pretty good deals.
Great place to find deals on clothes rather its work, home or school.
Same as every single goodwill Ive been to. Not terrible but not amazing. Nothing special about it. A bit weak on the furniture side but they sell what they get.
This place has got everything that you need pretty much!
Easy unloading lane for dropping off donations. Typical Goodwill inside.
Decent selection and quaint size. Not much to expect as its like most other goodwills.
Its a fun place to shop, like a big garage sale.
Prices have gotten a bit high. Sometimes you do find good bargens.
Very organized store and staff genuinely friendly!!!!!
The clothes that come through here are amazing like the employees.
I was able to get stuff I needed at a low cost.
Its all about timing. Sometimes great stuff, sometimes not.
Great quality that they try to keep on the rack.
