Great local Mexican Market and fresh foods. Produces are good, but sometimes they look a little wilted. My go to place for Soups, meats, and tacos made to order. It is not just a supermarket. Walk inside.
Love this market and especially the butcher. Just fantastic, so are the baked goods. Wonderful people and so much fantastic ingredients.
The best Mexican food Ive ever had must go food is so delicious I usually get the red chicken, beans and rice rice plate with flour tortillas, with a horchata the horchata hits the spot never disappoints if your ever around round rock you must go
Love this chain. I like it better then Fiesta. For sure the food is amazing gotta get my Mexican candy fix as well. I like that the people are always real nice. I speak Spanish and English. But the employee speak both if you dont speak English its not a problem.
Nice spot for marinated meats, and an assortment of food products from Mexico, Central America and the US
Great selections of baked goods, meats and produce. Didnt try the taqueria but it looked good and look forward to going back soon.
I placed a shopping basket underneath the checkout station after removing my items from it, as is done at most other grocery stores. The cashier asked me to give it to her so she could place it at the front then before producing the receipt, made sure to go place a small ladder in the small space that I placed the basket. If you dont want people placing their used basket there just cover up the space prior to opening the lane. Dont condescendingly reprepand the customer for doing what they can to get the basket out of the way for you. Its also a good way to separate out the used baskets from the used ones so that you can have a chance to disinfect them during the middle of a pandemic. You just made me a strict HEB client again. They hire professional respectful people to work for them.
Fresh cut meats friendly staff and helpful
Love getting my fajitas from here they are the best.
This place has gone to the dumps. Menudo is nothing but some meat and mostly oil soup if thats even a thing. Barbacoa has some huge lumps that dont come apart easy and some very soft parts that are like potted meat. Regular non marinated fajitas are way over priced compared to the vacuumed sealed fajitas at HEB which are way better. Not all of their products are from Mexico but are priced as such. Customer service is not even a thing here. One of the ladies in the front needs some training on dealing with customers. I do not recommend this place and I will never go back!
The best menudo Ive had since I came from Mexico, and excellent cuisine from the girls in the kitchen, very fast and good
It was good.Large selection
That market has the best meats, and grocery selection. My favorite market!
All I got to say is if your bread has flys on it, that a big no!!! I was soo excited to make some tortas and get the bread here since they make it fresh. Let me tell you as soon as I walked in and saw the flys on the produce I was a bit worried, and then I see it inside the box of the torta bread .... Barf!!!! I walked right out !!!
Bilingual Staff. Well Michoacana its a great place to buy Mexican food and Latin American food. Also have a small restaurant inside that have daily made food. meat is their speciality marinade pork and chicken are great..also please try Chicharrón fresh made and conchas.I visit this place often, everybody its really helpful there.Dont give 5 Stars because sometimes its quite spensive but so good
The cashier needs to be trained about Customer service. Very poor service.
The girl with the heavy makeup and very pretty pink nails in the Barri Check Cashing/Loan section has a nasty attitude. And she honestly makes me feel like I am not wanted/welcomed to come in to this predominantly Mexican/Hispanic establishment. Little does she know I am half Mexican and born in NM my skin tone just so happens to be a tad darker. This was the second time I went in to load a prepaid card and the second time she was nasty and made sly comments. I have yet to actually buy food from this location but if the workers in the market are as nasty/evil spirited as this young lady Id rather not! Tip to the owner: Make sure EVERYONE feels invited to shop/do business.
Good Latin grocery store. Meat is always fresh, reasonable prices. Good produce, Mexican food is always good. A bit on the crowded side today but everyone was wearing masks.
Well Im half Mexican and half white so I had to deal with some people talking mess and some people remarking on my racial appearance. The food was good but I probably wont go back bc of all the racial remarks
Awesome fast service. Great food!
Food in their little food court was not appetizing at all. Presentation was blah. Taste was bland and cold. Portions small. Service cold and curt. As for rest of store. Disorganized, dirty and pricey. 1 & only positive though ..the sweet bread. Absolutely the best!
Never ever again going to this place...ordered some chicharron and to me it was my best mexican plate food but after seeing what came out on the chicharron was just so nasty. Ill leave u guys some pictures so you could see for your self and be aware of what you guys eat...if this happened to me it could happened to anyone .
I like this market but no mushrooms and such :(
This is my go to Taco spot
I like it. The four stars are for the flavors. The tacos in the front look amazing but I havent tried them yet. I have been here for fajita and other meats for my own grill. And they are amazing! I have no idea how they do it. I cant even discern the various seasonings. When I serve them off my pit at home, they are gone in seconds! Mind your cost because it can get away from you pretty quick here.
Love this place. Its clean and the meat market is always stocked with fresh meat.
Great! Plenty of products
I have been eating here for years and like any place, some things are better than others. I am sad that the Pandemic killed their wonderful salsa bar and some of my favorite items like their papusas have also disappeared. But they do have a fair number of pretty good dishes and are clean. For a grocery store, the food is good. I like their breakfasts, gorditas and their al pastor tacos.
The tamales and the food is really good but if you are not a Mexican they treat you like dirt
Some of the best Latino eats in Round Rock, TX!
Good selection of meat 🍖😋
Great tacos!
Everything do you need about latin food can be found there, excellent place.
Awesome Caldo
Meat market is great. Great quality beef.
Never fails.. Always has great food
I like coming to this place they have good Mexican food they all have great great meat an affordable prices on groceries
Clean and a variety of Mexican food items to look for...
This grocery store is horrible and so unfriendly!! There’s this RUDEST butcher that works there... that won’t smile when you say hello. If looks could kill... this butcher had it!!! I told him smile your alive & your working with customers. He said NO SMILE TODAY...ONLY TOMORROW!!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! THE FOOD IS NOT FRESH AND IT’S DIRTY!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROCERY STORE!!!!
Very very very fresh. Yummy!
No chapoteando on a could day!!! Just left disappointed.
The lunch counter does a super job with a Mexican working man menu of hearty choices, all delicious...but the salsa/condiments bar is TO DIE FOR. Even better, the fresh salsas are sold as grocery items too. My wife and I looked at a house in the neighborhood a while back... had we bought, La Michoacana would be my regular hangout!
Best chicharrons and carnitas.
Great food!
Shopping sections are great, and have way better taco than before. I suggest trying them the taste and amound is great. They have certainly fix this problem.
Delicious authentic Mexican food!! Breakfast tacos are so good. Only a few people making your food speak English though, but some customers are friendly enough to translate for you.
Place was clean and the staff was friendly. Great selection of items, small produce selection, but pretty good meat selection. We purchased some veggies and marinated beef fajitas, and let me tell you what.. they were AWESOME and super tender off the grill.
Very Good Store!!! I been shopping here since it 1st opened. Fresh quality produce and there meat market is one of my favs.
I love everything about this place > I come for lunch 3x a week. Great tacos and chili rellenos
This place has a great assortment of Hispanic/Mexican goods. Anything from piñatas, candy, sweet bread and cooked meats. A great place to find authentic products. They also have hot food for sale by the order.
There food is always so so good. They do not shy away from giving you food. Employees are super nice and friendly
Female manager is very rude no customer service skills.
CARNECERIA:well stocked except no Milanesa that day, surprised.PAN DULCE:good selection, was told baked fresh daily.. Its reassuring when see signs of an actual bakery. Made fresh there or where (trucked in daily?), but alright; regular and small size conchas, tres leches cake 👍.DRY FOODS/GOODS:its a small market, expect products for the targeted publicFRESH PRODUCE:didnt check it out review your produce before you buy & one bad one doesnt explains the whole picture.TAQUERIA: RED MENU BOARDSdirectly above the display counter & to the right behind cash register (not used). Order at grocery cashier, this will avoid a scornful didnt you know look/response.Customer Service: plain, dryFood Prep: one tortilla per taco (add salsa itll get soggy if not already) compared to two. One salsa condiment container per taco (perhaps item) they gave a sheet of foil as well. The Al Pastor was tasty but dry.To Go Orders: no thought into how itll travel.MGMT: have yet to see any.Room for improvement.
Best meat market in Round Rock. The chorizo is great. Try the marinated beef fajita meat also for entertaining a group. Easy to grill.
Fajita tacos and fajita quesadillas are on point. Good prices and quick to run in and out for your dinner needs!
Great people, awesome meat market
Bad bad customer service in the meat department. Very rude butchers. Need more friendly and good customer service. I took my aunt that came to visit from California and well unfortunately we had the worst experience trying to order $100 worth of meat. I live in Georgetown and I usually drive 25min to do buy my groceries here but I will not return anymore.I had told my aunt that its a pretty amazing store well I bit my tongue.
Love the p to office and bakery. It opens at 7 but the full stock isnt out. I went at 830 was told the tamales would be out around 9 or 10. Left after nine and they still werent out. Disappointing, wasted a trip.
Great place to get Mexican spices.
Friendly staff, wide variety of meat, breakfast tacos are good and cheap.
Find about any Mexican Market product you need, and they have a great meat deli and taco take-out service there.
Great michoacana. Hot fresh food. Good meat prices asst pan dulces.
Overpriced, dirty parking lot, broken concrete slab to exit with no warning signs posted.Terrible method of ordering food, gotta pay at register instead of at the food court.Long lines only 2 registers and postioned directly in front of entryway with it being the only way in and out.Too expensive for the everything compared to HEB and Walmart.Management needs to step up and improve the total shopping experience for the shoppers.
I love the taste of real Mexican food, price is way cheaper that a famous Tex-mex restaurant, people are real charming
It was good experience overthere. Got the thing which i am looking for. Staff was very helpful..
Im so surprised to see how many full and empty boxes where on the floor by the produce area BIG safety issue, and the employee that was working he was more focus to finish his task, I dont blame him but the management, for this problem. Other BIG issue that parking lot, the people dont respect the handicap spaces, what a rude people.
Well stocked store.
To bad theres a zero star. . Worst service never come here
Love this market. The marinated meats are excellent and the ladies in the taqueria will generally make a phenomenal pico de gallo, even though its not generally prepared. Its seriously the best and I appreciate the extra effort.
Good prices and good food. Breakfast tacos are excellent.
The cashiers and not to even mention the cooking ladies are just awful they act like it bothers that people actually order !Does not even deserve a one star review smh
Good breakfast tacos at 1 dollar and from time to time good plates hard workers and nice and clean environment😊
I got everything I needed. The guy at the meat market was SUPER nice and got me the cut I needed.
The hot deli is OK to grab a taco if youre hungry while shopping. Meat cuts from the butcher are on par with other chain grocery stores, some cuts are cheaper here. Beef leg and oxtail can be sourced here. Produce is hit or miss, but anythig that looks good tasted OK.
Good Mexican market.
I always get what I want/need when I go here
Horrible tortas. They charge you for avacado. Another reason why Mexican or tex mex food in Houston is by far supperrior to anything austin has close to offer very disappointed in mi people for this in the area. You have been white washed and its embarrassing to latinos
Clean and Good Service
The pupusas are amazing! Try the avocado Verde. The best I have ever had
I go there regularly for their mexican bread which is made fresh and delicious every time! The tamales there are hot and yummy as well.
Great tamales and bakery. Enjoyed the groceries and imported products.
Great produce and mexican sweet bread(pan dulce), they also have delicious ready to serve food
I dont recomend this place the service is not good the food is to salty if you ask to speak to the manager is never there
TERRIBLE. Went in with a couple co workers. I ordered 2 tacos that were $1.99 each and I also ordered a water. Wound up being charged $10. They over charged me for a water Fresca which I didnt order and charged me twice for queso I didnt order. And then they wouldnt give me any queso or beans. The food was great, but overcharging someone by double and then not giving them what they paid for? Wont be back.
Good food and good people...big portions
I literally just bought some lettuce from here, I cut in half to find out it was all brown and old! This isnt the first bad experience Ive had here. Not too long ago I bought a pound of carnitas from the prepared foods area and it was all fat, the little meat that it did have was so not even chewable because it was so hard and they put a big ol bone in the middle of all of it! Never going back again. Ill stick with Heb and La Mexicana
Great food quality, quantity and pricing as always, especially the Plate Specials available after 3pm (Small Order of Tacos Al Pastor, Pozole and meat by the pound to-go are my favorite). Sometimes theyve gotten my order wrong, specifically going through the male server in the kitchen that made my orders those times. They do need to refill on that horchata more frequently though, there have been times where I order an Agua Fresca (Horchata) then when I go get it theyre out!Downside is the way they do Food Order flow/system is all over the place but its worth going through it briefly for such amazing tasty REAL Mexican food, lighting is super florescent, food tables are mostly dirty when I visit but they are okay other times.Location and overall look/feel is MUCH better than all of the other bad/rude locations in Austin/Round Rock. I go out of my way of town to come here. This is my go-to place! Me encanta venir aqui!
Not tex mex food legit mexican food. Friendly staff not that packed during lunch. Abit pricey but worth it. you pay for what you eat in this case quality with a lot of quantity!
The fresh made corn tortillas are amazing when u buy the tacos. I suggest the barbacoa and the al pastor
A great place to buy some Mexican food.
Everything you need for authentic Tex- Mex cooking
Only one cashier also check out is right by front door to close by door it gets cold might as well be out side check out
Best meat market.. I will be coming back to this meat market
Nice staff good stuff in here ....
