However, the time it took to get a quote was a bit surprising given other contractors had it completed within 24-72 hours... Follow up after attempting to work with them on a new job in our new house:I have decided to bump my 5 star sudden to a 3 star review because their quote was the highest by far and they refused to budge on price even though I worked with them in the past and generated a ton of referrals thanks to this review. Unfortunately since Randall left I can no longer recommended this company.We just re-carpeted our stairs and entire upstairs plus replaced our carpet downstairs with a real nice looking wood like ceramic tile.We could not recommend Bellus enough for your flooring needs. We reached out to them due to their solid reputation online and we could not be more pleased choosing them. My wife and I worked with Tonya, at Bellus, to coordinate a lot of work we needed done at our home. Estimates were very professional, detailed & transparent, and 100% accurate. Tonya handled all the material ordering / logistics / billing, Justin handled deliveries, and Juan and his team did all the installation work. We had wood flooring, tile flooring, ledger rock on the fireplace, baseboards, tile backsplash, and carpeting installed. Randall was a great help. We shopped several other stores and no one else was as helpful as Randall. He was patient, answered all of our questions and never pushed us to make decisions. We actually found the carpet we wanted at another place, but they had no problem ordering it for us. The quoted price was almost 20% less than the other quotes we received and there was no hidden fees.Even after we ordered the carpet there was a problem with the manufacturer, and the owner John personally explained the situation and got it fixed. This is the type of service that a locally owned business can provide, which we never experienced at a big box store.The installers were amazing! They showed up on time and were fast, careful and professional. They worked non-stop through lunch to finish, clean up and make sure we were happy with the job. A couple days after Randall called to make sure we were happy and asked if anything needed attention, but everything was perfect.We definitely recommend Bellus Flooring.

I have been in commercial construction for over twenty years and have worked with a lot of flooring contractors. Tonya Carroll and Bellus Flooring are the only people I call for any of my residential work.My wife and I were terrified to replace the 20+ year carpeting and tile on the first floor of our house. (I dont know why. We used Bellus upstairs and they were awesome then too!) The previous owners had tiled over existing tile. So we prepared ourselves for the inevitable mess and called Tonya. The Bellus team arrived, moved and covered all our furniture, and removed all the old flooring in one day. There. Was. We had our floors redone earlier this year and spent a ton of time getting quotes and going through the process with several other companies. We had originally contracted Empire to do our floors and fired them halfway through the job. So after living with concrete floors for months we finally found Tonya at Bellus flooring. She went above and beyond to help us and even though we live in Elgin they were able to get the job done. She even saved the day when my husband changed him mind on the color last minute. While they were not the lowest priced option they werent the move expensive either. They are definitely worth the price we paid. We will be contacting them again when its time to do the bedrooms and bathrooms.
