Petty Tile is simply awesome. We needed to replace our worn-out carpet and wood flooring with something more durable and modern. We found just what we wanted in their showroom in Round Rock. The company is run by the Petty family and the two sisters, Sunni and Destiny worked with us to get an absolutely perfect result. Sunni was always available to answer our questions and even helped us get a box of the tile we wanted ahead of time so we could get a sense of the final appearance before purchasing. She was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. When it came time for the installation, we got to meet Destiny, who handled the installation from start to finish. She is a true artisan when it comes to flooring and it was amazing to watch her work. A perfectionist though-out, she got the job done with results beyond my best expectations. Always on time, always friendly, and always happy to answer my questions at every stage of the installation, I cannot recommend anyone more strongly if you want the job done right. Get your floors at Petty Tile and you will not be disappointed.

Sunni and her team were wonderful to work with. I was purchasing my first home and replacing the carpet on the stairs and upstairs bedrooms was one of the first things on my list to do. Sunni worked with me to get it scheduled as soon as possible. Destiny was quick and efficient installing the hardy vinyl plank in what will be my office. A different team installed the carpet in the main bedroom and stairs about a week later. The stairs were a bit tricky as the sides are exposed on the lower half, but they took their time and did a seamless job.

We purchased 5 tons of tile for our commercial property and Sunni was so easy to work with! She helped me from beginning to end, I walked into her store and she saw the order through the delivery. She even inspected the boxes to make sure that all the tiles were in good condition! Petty Tile is awesome to work with - highly recommend!

We are very pleased with our experience. Sunni was great to work with. The installers did a great job. We had them move our large furniture and they put it back where it was or made any changes we requested. Everything was neat and clean. They worked very hard finished in one day.

I highly recommend Petty Tile and Carpet. We recently set out to create a new office space. It was a VERY long project, taking about 9m to complete. However, putting down the new floors was the fastest and easiest part of the project. We had carpet in this area and opted to change to wood. We needed to match our downstairs wood, but didnt want to spend a lot of money doing that. Sunny and her team were so easy to work with. Once I decided on the product, they were able to install within two weeks and were able to do so when we were already planning to be out of the house for a few days so there was minimal disruption to our family. They were responsive to our needs, quick, and great service overall. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if I need to.

Sunni was great to work with! Communication was great and she was very understanding when we had to postpone the installation date. The installation team was punctual, courteous and did an amazing job getting the carpet installed in one day!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience from start to finish! We had wood floors installed in 3 different areas of our home and they were able to match it to the current wood we have. It looks fantastic and is exactly what we wanted.Sunni was easy to work with, professional, punctual and never pushy. She even came by while the floor was being installed to make sure everything was going well!Destiny has got to be the hardest worker I’ve witnessed in my life! And the attention to detail is above and beyond. There is no cutting corners when it comes to her work. She even helped cover a gap in a part of the floor she wasn’t even working on.I can’t wait to have them do the floors in other parts of our home!

Amazing! We were guided to select the most durable floors for our family of 6 (3 boys, a big pup, husband and wife). We’ve had these floors installed now for over two years and they look just as good today as when they were first installed. The installation crew was fast, efficient, timely and professional. In and out much faster than I expected. I will be back for more projects in the future!

This company is Amazing! Not only is it a family owned company (SUPPORT LOCAL), the installer Des is amazing. Great attention to detail, takes her time and does it right, professional and great finished product. I have used them for many flooring projects. I would highly recommend!!

My wife and I used Petty Tile & Carpet in June 2017 to install over 1,000 sq.ft. of wood floors in our home. We were VERY pleased with the communication from Sunni and her team. We had two phases to our project and both were done flawlessly. The three person team that showed up to complete the installation were simply the best. From the laying of the floors to the clean up it was a great experience. The attention to detail was really amazing. After watching this team work, there is not a chance on earth I could have even come close to the level of expertise they provided. If you are considering installing your own floors to save $, DONT!!! Unless you really know what you are doing and I mean really know what you are doing. Overall, I cannot say enough about the project. If you are considering flooring for your home, take the leap and use Petty Tile & Carpet. If you get even close to the experience I had, you will be one satisfied customer.

We had a great experience with Petty Tile & Carpet. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted and their showroom and staff were great. Sunni helped us pick out a beautiful luxury plank and tile that went great together. The install team was very professional and did excellent work. They even made an extra trip back after the job was completed to make sure we were satisfied and answered questions about our new floors. We highly recommend using them for any new flooring!

I would highly recommend Sunni and her crew at Petty Tile & Carpet. I needed new carpet in a rental home, so something inexpensive but built for wear. Sunni knowledge about carpet fibers and wear were so helpful (especially after the guy at Home Depot referred to carpet fibers as strings) and I was able to pick beautiful carpet that will stand up to lots of wear in a rental home. The installation team was very professional, fast and clean. Thank you all for a great job!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Petty Tile and Carpet. We started off working with Sunni, in the office and she was extremely patient and informative and really helped us figure out how to make everything work within our budget. She even let us know about special financing. She did not try to oversell or upsell us, she suggested what she thought would be best for what we were doing but she let us make her own decisions. I hate pushy sales people! They definitely are not!Then, Des and her crew came out to our house and finished the job quicker than expected. Everything looks absolutely perfect! They really went above and beyond and were friendly, trustworthy, and easy to work with.I own multiple houses and have dealt with a lot of different contractors and this was the best experience Ive ever had. Hands-down, I will never use anyone else as long as they are in business. I also really love that it is a family owned and operated business. You get what you pay for. I went to Petty Tile after checking other major retailers that did not specialize in tile, therefor didnt have what I needed. I had a small project of replacing about 30 tiles in various areas of a home. The home was 30 years old, so finding the exact tile was not likely. I had spoke with Sunni and she was able to pull a near exact color match of the tile I was in need of. The other obstacle I had was finding that color pattern in 13x13. Sunni allocated some samples and we compared color and sizes (as not all tiles are created equal). We were able to get the tiles needed, huge thanks to Sunni for being such a huge help in allocating the proper color/size that we were needing. Highly recommend.update: So we had the tiles installed by someone else, but I have to say... The tile matching of colors is flawless. We are very happy that Sunni went the extra mile to match the tiles so closely. Thanks so much!!

Sunni was an absolute gem helping this indecisive person out with what type of flooring and color combinations would work in our house. I felt completely comfortable leaving them access to my house and leaving town while Des and her team did the installation. I am the son of Eddie Petty and installed tile and wood flooring for years with my dad. He absolutely is one of the hardest working and friendly guys you can meet. He does all that he can to make a fair deal and a happy customer! Hes not a big box store making tons of profit, so help your local neighbor out and stop in to check out your options... I GUARANTEE you wont be disappointed. Its a family run business that will treat you right, and make sure your floor is everything you could have dreamed of (I know I used to install it!).

I am replacing almost all my flooring and went to numerous places to see what was available and at what price. I already had narrowed general choices down and price ranges. When I went to Petty Tile, I found the salesman to be of little to no help. After answering 1-2 questions, he went back to his desk and read a book. I had to keep searching him out. Unfortunately, this mirrors an experience that my friend had at the same store a number of years previously. One of the reasons I try to use local businesses is to help the local economy and to benefit from the typically higher service levels. I saw no evidence of either here. Unfortunate. I ended up purchasing from a chain store that just about tackles me every time I enter the door.

I have been searching for tile that looks like wood for a few weeks now. I went to big box stores without any luck with customer service. Ive walked into their store three times now. My parents have used them and said they have always used Petty Tile. So I though I would too. I keep trying to want to spend my money there but every time I go in I have been so not impressed with their customer service. This last time was it for me. I walk in and the man came up to me and said nothing. I asked how is day was going and he said eh ok I guess. I get we all have bad days but come on, this is a business. I the proceeded to tell him what I was looking for and I asked if they had anything like that. He said I would have to go look. Um where? There is so much there I I told him this was my first time buying flooring. He also told me I would have a hard time finding the kind of hardwood I wanted, but Ive seen it at Home Depot, Floor & Decor, and a few other places. I think told him thank you and Ill look elsewhere. Super disappointed and not impressed.
