My youngest son has been enrolled with Mr. Taylor for a little over two years & the progress he has made has been amazing. Mr. Taylor makes learning fun & when things are tough he takes the time to provide encouragement, coaching and clear feedback that truly lands well with my son.I cannot compare Mr. Taylor to other instructors but I can say that I am happy with the service that he provides. 5 stars all the way around!!!

An absolutely excellent school for kids to learn music. I was a student of Mr. Taylor’s many years ago and was absolutely thrilled when I found the program still going strong. My son has been a student of Chris Stone’s for five years now, and getting to hear the progress being made weekly is an absolute joy. Students don’t just learn how to play the classical guitar they also get a foundation in reading sheet music that seems to be neglected in other programs. If you’re looking for a way to introduce your child to music and watch them grow I highly recommend the Childbloom program.

Mr. Taylor is truly the best instructor. Our daughter has been with him for almost six years. He teaches finger picking and proper pacing. We highly recommend him and the Childbloom Program.

My nine year old daughter has been taking guitar lessons at Childbloom with Kevin Taylor for over three years now and we could not be happier with the program and with her progress. My daughter is developing a real feel for the music, and a love for the music, all while learning to play an instrument and read music. The approach is gentle but firm, low pressure but encouraging, and Mr. Taylor knows just when to push students and when to back off a bit. I have loved watching my daughter become a miniature musician, especially now that she has reached the point where the music makes her feel something. I highly recommend this program, and of course Mr. Taylor, for anyone whose child is interested in learning classical guitar.

Our daughter started taking guitar lessons with Slobodan Vujisic of the Childbloom program 10 years ago this month. From the early days, I remember the quiet confidence she gained from Slobodans encouragement and from learning to play actual songs before being able to read music. The instruction and lesson sequence of the Childbloom program is fantastic, and the learning environment fits the pace of the student-- nurturing but with just the right amount of challenge. Slobodan is an amazingly talented musician but he also has the ability to teach in a way that encourages, fine-tunes, and does not intimidate the students. Olivias guitar playing has blossomed under his direction.Childbloom also offers the opportunity to play along with other classical guitarists in regular lessons and in the Childbloom Christmas Guitar Orchestra as well as summer guitar camps and intensives. Having the ability to play classical guitar in a group setting and work as a team is an invaluable experience for a musician. One of the best decisions we have ever made was to have our daughter start with Childbloom when she expressed interest in the guitar. Over the years we have seen the fruits from the Childbloom program in our daughters physical, mental, and social development-- increased and intricate fine motor skills, focused academic aptitude, learn how to balance her practice study schedule and learning self-control, perseverance with a challenge, the ability to ask for help when she needs it, and the absolute JOY of music and being a musician! We are so grateful to Kevin Taylor for developing such a WONDERFUL guitar program. I would not hesitate to recommend the Childbloom program to anyone with a child interested in learning how to play classical guitar and play it well. They will attain this and so much more!

My two kids have been with Childbloom and Slobodan Vujisic for nearly two years. We love the program and our kids have grown in their skill and appreciation for classical guitar. The idea of group classes, especially with siblings together, is wonderful. It promotes a healthy level of maturation with siblings or friends playing together and practicing together. It has kept our kids involved and helped them be supportive of each other. Slobodan and Childbloom promote group performances which provide a fun and rewarding experience to show off new skills that are learned during the course of the year.I would highly recommend this system as a way to introduce classical music, especially if you have more than one child who might want to learn.

Our daughter who is now 13, started playing just before her fifth birthday with Childbloom. Thanks goodness that Chris Stone was her very first instructor as his charming, patient and very sweet style was perfect for a 5 year old - she adored him maybe more than the guitar playing! Kevin Taylor then took over (when Chris left to pursue his Masters) and brought her up to be a true guitar player with meticulous & gentle attention to her posture, form and technique. Enter her latest instructor -- Slobodan! Slobodan Vusijic in the last two years, has been able to reinvigorate our daughters interest in playing as she was transitioned from Tween to Teen - not an easy task. I can say that our daughter is now A Musician. Slobodan challenges & informs her in every realm of her music: Highly specific technique, music theory and the history of music as well as information about the composers of the pieces she plays. And he does so with patience and respect for her ability, interests and any given mood at the time :). He chooses pieces that demand she practice new levels of skill AND that fit her personality. She falls in love with every song and therefore enjoys practicing, performing and especially competing! She attended the Fine Arts Academy at Lamar Middle School and now, is one of only two Freshman at the McCallum Fine Arts Academys highest level guitar ensemble. Playing classical guitar has contributed to her sense of self, her discipline, intelligence and confidence as a teenager. And, the instructors at Childbloom have been right there with the perfect person and personality at every phase!
