I have been coming to this place for a few years. It’s keeps downtown Round Rock charming. My last visit was on a weekday so it wasn’t very busy. I tried a smoothie it was tasty. Slightly sweeter than most smoothies but just what I needed for this Texas heat! I enjoyed the little umbrella it came with 👏🏾❤️

This place is definitely not the same. I used to love coming here, but the snow cones dont have much flavor anymore light on the syrup basically just eating ice. I was going to write a review a while back but I decided to wait to try them a couple more times. The last four times Ive been here its been the same, just wasting my money. Dont plan on coming back anytime soon.

I guess it is good but will never know apparently since it takes literally 30min before an order even takes place. Was in the drive thru for 20 minutes with 3 cars in front of me and the line DID NOT move. This was Sunday at 12:30 (non peak hours) so I pulled out of the line. Came back on a Saturday the following week and tried the standing line. Waited 30min with 2 people in front of me and again the line DID not move. Washing my hands of this place until they get more help or their act together.Note to owner, might want to try a few things to get this group more efficient, otherwise you wont be in business long.

This is a Round Rock institution. Refreshing treat in the heart of old downtown Round Rock, Texas. Ton of flavors to choose from. My Tribe has been going there for near a decade or more and its always been a good time just to take a break from the heat and converse a bit. One thing I really like is that it seems to be a kind of first job experience place for gals to work at for the summer and the young ladies who work there are always nice and professional.

I have been coming here for many years and I love their shaved ice! they have tons of different flavors, and all that i’ve tried are delicious! the ice is so smooth, and it’s always a big hit with my family. I haven’t ever received bad service there, so I can’t speak negatively about it!

If I ask my daughters if they want to get ice cream, the first words out of their mouth is Kawaii Ice. The prices are great for what you get and the flavors are excellent. You have so many choices that everybody can find something. My youngest and I usually do the Kawaii Special because who doesnt love ice cream added! Always expect a wait and sometimes it is longer than others. The drive-thru is usually always full, but it is worth it! Great business, great staff and a great delicious treat!!

This is a great place . When they open ! Me and my son waited out side today for them to open... and no one showed up for work. Have them time to come in late and no one showed. Now I have an upset 3 year old.

Alright, my kids love them but theyre stingy with the snow cone juice. Always get lots of ice but not enough flavoring. Overall okay place to get snow cone. staff is a hit or miss sometimes you get the nice ones sometimes you get the ones with attitude for no reason. 7/10

We love you guys however it took 30 plus minutes waiting on 3 easy drinks. Maybe staff accordingly at peak hours. Having said that the sweet girls were working hard. Well definitely be back!!!! 💜💜🥰🥰

I absolutely love Kawaii Shaved Ice. I used to go there all the time when I was little and still enjoy going today. Their shaved ice is spectacular and better than any other shaved ice place Ive ever been too. So many flavor combinations, so you can keep it interesting or just be like me and have the cotton candy flavor Everytime.

My Pineapple snow-cone had no flavor and no sweetness to it. I thought it would’ve been better. Also, we waited 10 minutes before the girl inside took our order, and she wasn’t even doing anything but talking and laughing it up with another one of her co-workers. The patio also doesn’t have any trash cans outside to throw away your cups when your done. If your a food business, that’s the least you can provide.

It was ok. The final product was good but a looooog wait, very sloooooow. Plus they forgot part of our order. People seemed happy enough to stand around and wait, guess they had nothing to do and all day to do it. Was taken there, probably not going back.

I’ve been getting snow cones every summer for years here!! It definitely worth the wait. My favorite is the Tiger’s Blood with extra cream. The ice is shaved to perfection and it has the right amount of syrup. I love this place!

As a long time resident of Round Rock, I have visited Kawaii Shaved ice many times over the years. For the snow cones and the water and ice service. After an encounter with their staff today, I will never visit this establishment again. They have lost a repeat customer.My family and a few friends attended a private event across the street at The Flats. It was private child’s birthday party at the venue prior to their opening to the public. When we arrived, their was construction going on at the street and the parking lot behind Kawaii shaved ice was closed down, so we parked in one of the four open spots at Kawaii shaved ice. We attended the party, The Flats was not serving any alcohol during the event. After the event ended, my family and some friends that arrived late were still at the Flats, catching up after not seeing each other for over a year due to COVID. As we were chatting, the manager of The Flats approached us and notified us that if anyone was parked at Kawaii Ice, they would be towed soon. We didn’t notice the “towing enforced” sign when we arrived, and decided that we should leave to avoid being towed.When we got to our cars and were packing up children in two different cars, an employee from Kawaii ice approached us and verbally berated and insulted us in front of their patrons, the general public, and our children. It was like a 10-year old child who didn’t get their way was throwing a tantrum. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful to people who have been repeat customers for years. We were actually planning on getting a snow cone before we left for our son, but before I was even able to walk up to order one, I was verbally assaulted and treated like a criminal for daring to park in one of their spots for a few hours. When I arrived, the lot was closed. When I was leaving, the lot was open and there was plenty of parking available for potential Kawaii customers. There was several hours of potential time for their staff to communicate the issue. Within 10 minutes of the manager of The Flats informing us, we were getting in our cars, and it was this moment that their staff chose to come out and berate us for parking at their place.It was absolutely and completely unprofessional and reflects the “attitude” of Kawaii ice that some other reviews have expressed.I will never ever give them my business again.

My coworkers and I love Kawaii. We go at least once a week. All the girls are super sweet and friendly.

Haven’t been here in a couple years until today and it’s still as good as I remember it! The ice is SO smooth! Endless flavors to choose from too. My only recommendation for them is to have something (other than ice cups) for the hot pups that a lot of us drive around with. I have no idea what, but something that is dog friendly and just as delicious as their snow cones! Maybe one day (crossing fingers!) :)

I love this place but the staff is disgusting.. I watched a young lady eat ice cream with the same glove she was preparing snow ones with…. Why are you eating in the front? Why didn’t you wash hands or change your gloves? Almost everyone was on their phone? I just don’t understand

Kawaii Shaved Ice is soo good. It is the perfect treat for a hot summer day! I love going there. The people are always very nice and have always gotten my order right. They have the best creamy ice cream in the world. I get the unicorn Kawaii special every time. The kawaii special is the way to go. It has shaved ice on the bottom and in the middle is their ice cream and lastly on top is more shaved ice.

Gf and I waited over 15min by the window on the right. 3 x they would open the window to hand out orders and totally ignored us standing there waiting to give our order. Finally one of the young ladies said you’re at the wrong window then rudely shut the window on us. No sign seen dictating which window was which. Won’t go back with such service and rudeness.

Snow cones in general are mediocre at best. Especially not good enough to make up for the attitude we received. When ordering there was a long line, which is completely understandable and our initial ordering process was fine. However when my sister received her snowcone, they had given her blue coconut instead of blue raspberry. My sister absolutely despises anything coconut flavored, so she asked them if they could remake it for her. The lady at the front desk dismissed her, and said “it’s dark blue it’s blue raspberry.” My sister was confused and made sure to tell them that it was 100% the wrong flavor, and she said the exact same thing about how it was blue so it had to be blue raspberry. My sister literally felt gaslighted over a snow cone....... just remake it? I feel like that’s basic customer service for any place. It only had one bite taken out of it, because the flavors are very distinct. Sad that I tipped :(

I would only eat here if Im staying on site. Transporting these things was a nightmare and twice, they gave me cups with holes in them. But, if you stay on site, gotta watch out for bees.

If youre looking for a cold treat on a warm day this is the place . Kawaii finest shaved ice are some of the best snow cones around . With 4 different sizes and flavors galore you cant go wrong . Suddenly, Im coming in from the beach in Hawaii (I guess my surfboard has been tombstoned in the sand) and finding this great place to dry off in some shade from the hot sun. Add some ice cream to the middle if youd like, but regardless, I dont think you could find better ice on the planet.

Best shaved ice in town, limited parking but its worth it! Munchkin got the green apple and loved it, and I got the pina colada which could only be better with some rum.

Snocones are great. However, it is absolutely the slowest service Ive ever seen. You will sit in drive thru for a minimum of 20-30 min. Will find another place to go. I am not sitting in a drive thru line this long it is ridiculous it doesnt take that long to make snocones!!!

Our little family drove 20 minutes to this establishment tonight because we love their shaved ice treats. We checked the Facebook page and Google for their hours and it said they were open until 10:00 pm. We showed up at exactly 7:55 pm and the drive through was already closed for the night. We thought maybe it was closed but the front window was open. I went to the window and the curtains were already closed. I saw a girl that works there making an order. I pointed to my watch and she nodded “no”. I told her 10? She again, said, “no”. So we are completely confused and even if they do close at 8:00 pm, we were technically there before 8:00 pm. We additionally called the store and there was no answer. This is super disappointing and annoying at the same time as the times listed online and on Facebook are inaccurate and that the girl working totally disregarded a long time customer. We will not be coming back to this establishment based on how this was handled. Very unprofessional.

Delicious. The girls making the shaved ice were super nice as we had never been there and explained and suggested some flavors. Super refreshing on a hot day.

So far this is THE BEST shaved ice place around. Ive become very fond of a particular flavor combination that sounds so gross but is so very good. My flavor choice is half pickle juice and another flavor such as jungle juice or tutti frutti with chopped pickles added.Just hearing it I can imagine if you are not a pickle lover it sounds bad but its not, its super good!

Came here at 9:14 because the website said that it closed at 10 and y’all were shut down. I came to the glass and asked if y’all were open because your website says 10 and y’all rudely said no and closed the window.

Apparently you’re store closed at 8:30pm on a Monday. Says open till 10pm. Employee closed drive thru but the open sign was on. Either update your hours or get employees that won’t close early.

Always a delicious treat on a hot day! The ice is soft and not at all crunchy, the flavors are fun and theyve always used plenty of syrup. The drive through is my favorite, because this is Texas and Im not about standing in the heat🥵

This is my favorite place to go for a Sno-cone. I have tried multiple flavors but the Red Hawaiian Kawaii Special is my favorite. Always a great treat!

Its busy sometimes, but my snowcones are always filled with flavor and not just the top. Some cones when you get to the bottom its just ice, but not here. We go ever summer, multiple times.

Waited about 10 minutes behind three other people with my 8 year old daughter. Our. Line never moved as the drive thru seemed to be getting much more attention. No biggie but I will say the music was why we did not wait to get our shaved ice. It was loud and the rap style music had a lot of vulger and inappropriate language for a family setting. As I told my 8 year old I could not take the music anymore she agreed. There was a family with small kids eating at the table as well. First impressions stick so I will not try this place again.

I decided to check this place out due to the reviews.As soon as I walked to the window, the girl was very rude. I understand it was 30 minutes to closing but there was no need to have an attitude. Her greeting was how much are you ordering. Then she proceeded to tell me that I needed a mask when her nor the other employee had a mask on. So I was very confused to why she decided to tell me but yet she was the one who was serving food. 🤔 Its unfortunate that I will never be returning to this establishment. Customer service was a 👎 all within 5 minutes.

Snow cones are tasty and atmosphere is very relaxing. The only issue I had was the employees are taking cash and debit cards then using the same gloved hand to shape your snow cone, not very hygienic. Had it not been for this I would have given the them 5 stars.

Kawaii has always been a treat for the family, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Two windows, one line, young man closes the window as i stand there waiting while one young lady with one glove and long yellow nails works the ice and another does the drive thru. That leaves 2 more kids inside...line is still outside. No greeting. No Ill be with you in a minute. Finally, my order is taken. Pleasantly, i smile and place my order. So does the guy who just walked up behind me. Tell me why did he get his order before me (2 small shaved ice). Owners, please remind the staff that customer service can make a business. If a customer has been waiting, attend to that customer; first come first serve. Remind them that its ok to greet the customers.

It was ok... They use soft serve if you ask for ice cream with the snow cone... Its not a good mix, a traditional ice cream goes better.

Nice place, looled well kept and had a large variety. I enjoyed my choice although they did get my wifes order wrong. Not a big mistake by any means. Will go back and would recommend for a nice treat

I just got back from a failed attempt at having shaved ice. When I got there at 9:20pm and even though online it says you are opened til 10pm the gate was closed with 3 cars inside, we looped around and parked and the curtains were closed and we could see 2 girls inside, we knocked on the window and through the crack of the curtain I saw the girl look up at me and then just continue doing what she was doing. They did not even bother to open it to give us a reason for “closing early”. Very rude and a disappointing first attempt of getting anything at this place.

I had the worst experience this past sunday at around 3:30pm, I asked for a piña colada shake with icecream, keep in mind I always ask for this drink and I go as often as every weekend and I have also worked at this place before. And to start off the person that was taking our order was rude and kept giving us our total even though we were not done ordering yet, also there was no one behind us in the drive thru so we were taking our time ordering a few things. When they gave me my piña colada shake it tasted HORRIBLE and all I got from an employe that said she worked there for 15 years is that that is how it suppossed to taste. I questioned her and all I got in return is attitude like she owned the place. Sad that my family and I will have to support a different place from now on and that this employes get no consequences for treating costumers like they did to us. Acting like you own the place is not right get of your high horse because you are just an employe at a small shaved ice place.

Been going here every summer since moved here 9 yrs ago. Absolutely love it!!! I love snow cones more than ice cream!! The snow cones have a perfect consistency and not rocky hard ice like some other places. Its also fairly priced and affordable! Totally recommend!

Best shaved ice around! Weve tried so many other local spots but we always come back to Kawaiis Shaved Ice. Great flavors and love the shaved ice texture. Could use a little more syrup with each serving and they havent been packing the ice like they used to but it still beats out the other local spots.

I tried the sugar free flavor for the first time. Sugarfree cherry tastes like cough syrup. I highly recommend staying away from it. From past experience, every regular flavor is satisfying. The workers are pleasant.The seating area has changed, so you dont have midterms anymore. The tables are smaller, but oddly it seemed like there were more seats.I would have given 5 stars, but I didnt see a cut out in the curb for wheelchairs or strollers.

Kawaiis is a great place to go on a hot Texas day for some nice cold dessert. Unlike other shaved ice places their shaved ice is just like Hawaii shaved ice and they have a large selection of flavors to choose from. You can also get ice cream here in case you wouldnt like shaved ice, along with all of this it is right in the heart of downtown round rock so it is a simple walk from anywhere else near downtown
