Such a cute place! They make all of their flavor drinks in house, so you don’t have to worry about all the added sugars. Was super excited to hear that their pumpkin spice is made in house! That’s a rare find!! Got a pumpkin spice latte and it was soooo good πŸ˜‹

Oh my heart, the lavender latte was exactly what I needed today. Cute little shop with great coffee. They have a lovely area to sit outside, too. They offer a walk-up window (dont forget to knock!) if youre just swinging by. Staff was super friendly and it just was a nice place to slow down and enjoy the day. Will definitely be visiting again soon! β˜•

Small, clean, minimalistic, and cozy. The menu is short sweet and simple. I wanted something other than coffee and the batista made me an iced Chai tea with oatmilk and heavy cream. Delicious. I stayed and worked on my laptop for two hours. They have a few board games and t-shirts for sale as well as mugs and such.

I can’t not even begin to exclaim how excited I am to have a legit coffee shop somewhat close to meβ€”and this is certainly legit coffee. From the modern simplicity of the building simply letting one know coffee is to be found here to the straight forward menu, this place is just great. On my inaugural trip I ordered a cappucino to go and called it a day. I will lost certainly be back with my husband or with girlfriends in the future. I want to sit and enjoy coffee and a pastry. They have homemade pop tarts and emporium pies and scones. The main menu is super straight forward. A list of beverages sold. There’s a more detailed list on a paper menu on the counter. This is the only coffee house in at least a 2-3 city radius that serves espresso drinks in a proper 8oz cup. As an avid cap drinker, this is so refreshing. To be able to walk in and order a cappuccino without being asked what size (which usually means the smallest is 12oz which is too big) is so refreshing.I can’t wait to come back and may have to make special trips across the bridge just for these amazing cappuccinos with perfect foam.My only β€œtip” from a consumer perspective that appreciates getting that perfect pic: leave the lid off so it doesn’t ruin the pretty latte art. 😊

Just got a delicious latte from this new local coffee shop. Im excited that Rowlett has a place like this on the square. Its pretty small, but its a nice, cozy and modern interior with a couch and a few games. The menu is simple but you can customize your drinks with different milks and syrups. Everyone was friendly and my drink came out quick! Ill definitely be coming back soon!

Amazing, coffee, amazing service, and amazing people! When I go here and sip my skinny vanilla latte with almond milk not only do I taste quality crafted coffee, I smell the sweet scent of freedom as my face feels the open air unimpeded by a completely useless face diaper. The shop is spotless and feels extremely sanitized, which is important. If however, masks make you feel safe you could always order to-go so you don’t miss out on the deliciousness. Or you can drive through Starbucks where they do wear masks that they breathe on then touch all day with rubber gloves while handling you’re coffee with the same rubber gloves before handling your method of payment (again with the same rubber gloves) just like they did with the person before you for an overpriced cup of bitter coffee. You’re choice, a benefit that has been a staple of the American life for generations!

Went to this coffee shop for the first time today, very quaint. Although the owners/employees were very sweet, not one was in a mask today March 8th. The mandate actually ends on the 10th so we felt somewhat uncomfortable wearing ours while nobody else was. I had a chai and it was very rich with milk. Just sort of disappointed that we wanted to help a local, small business and they weren’t following orders, not everyone has a vaccine yet. Like I said, they were very nice, just seemed a little irresponsible as other businesses have chosen to follow orders. Won’t go back.

Painful experience. Wow.Coffee is okay, a little on the sweet side for a pour over, but my gosh that was a depressing visit. No smiles, no conversation, no engagement. When I worked at a cafe my favorite part was getting to know people, talking and engaging in them so they would want to come back.I waited an excruciatingly long time for that pour over and no smiles or anything. Blah. Never coming back. Lighten up people! Crank up the music and make it a happy experience. Also over heard the male barista tell a customer not to buy a scone because they’re dry..yikes!

I saw this coffee shop on my maps and got super excited to finally see good coffee in Rowlett. I was beyond excited to be able to go somewhere other than Starbucks and Scooter’s AND they carried Onyx (my personal favorite.) I walked in and was immediately disappointed to see that only one other person was wearing a mask. The barista did not have a mask and not only that– he was coming UP CLOSE to customers. There were no signs anywhere to wear a mask, no social distancing guidelines in place, NOTHING. I can’t even comment on the coffee because I was far too angry to even drink it.Absolutely disappointing. Why should I care to support YOUR local business when you can’t even put simple precautions in place to keep ME your customer safe? I will not be returning, but I hope you take a look at the rising COVID cases and consider changing your policy, at least for your staff at minimum. We all have to think about our COMMUNITY, thats what coffee is supposed to be about and it is definitely not an example set by your employees. Get it together if you plan to stay around.

I love this coffee shop! It has a simple and cozy interior, great back patio space, and has a friendly staff. They have delicious iced lattes. I love them so much that I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet. The espresso they use is of very high quality. Smooth and light without a burnt or bitter flavor. They put time into each drink making them perfect every visit. Also, they have a good pastry selection with tons of gf and vegan options. I’m gluten free so this is a rare occurrence that I can actually eat like a muffin or scone with my latte, so that makes this shop extra special.

Yikes... my pour over was burnt. I took maybe two sips before pouring out my $5 burnt bean water that I wont dignify to call coffee. The local favorite tasted like roasted rosemary, and hardly any honey. Disappointed for such a cute coffee shop to not deliver on quality of coffee.

I had been wanting to try this place for over a year. I went in one Saturday, an hour before they closed. I asked for a vanilla latte in a mug to enjoy while I sat in the shop and the barista came out with a disposable cup and said that they close in an hour so that’s why I got a disposable cup. πŸ™‚ my first experience seemed rush. And it made no sense and made it a bad experience. The young guy at the cash register was so kind though.

This is great little hole in the wall in the middle of Rowlett and is tucked into a nice little downtown area. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the coffees they use and more than willing to answer any questions I had. Im guessing they have Wi-Fi, as there were a couple people inside using their laptops for some type of work/school, but it is a little shop, so only a few tables inside. All in all, on the staff alone, Id recommend this place. The coffee itself was definitely bold and pretty good and I believe the brand on it was Omen. Had a typically strong cold brew with notes of dark chocolate and dried fruits, but there were also 2 other notes to it, making for a different taste. This coffee came from the USA, according to the gentleman I spoke with at the coffee shop, but I cannot locate the brand with a Google search, so might have remembered it wrong.

For those of you who follow my google reviews, you know how rare my five star reviews are, but this place is as real as coffee shops get.Pros:-Handmade drinks with handmade syrups and handmade pastries on the side. Have you ever had a homemade pop tart? I hadnt until I ate here, and guess what? It was great. Forget store pop tarts, I will never pop one of those pockets of empty calories into my mouth again. This place has great food and greatier drinks.-Cozy atmosphere. It is, like all good coffee shops, tucked away in a corner to minimize noise, maximize focus, and limit the amount of losers that would sit there for hours hogging the wifi bandwidth for their Game of Thrones bingewatching which they could totally do at home. Come on, people! Coffee shops are for studying!-Stylish vibe and gucci customer service. It isnt hard to style your store after the latest episode of Joanna Gaines and her cute but dorky husband, but it is hard to find something as simple as a foodservice establishment with customer service worth tipping. This place, however, has both. Shout out to the baristas and baristos that put up with grouchy customers with a smile and tactful repose. Everyone has to pay the bills somehow, but not everyone can do it while showing off such terrific people skills.-Outdoor seating that is properly shaded and cooled. If you live in Texas, I dont need to tell you how hot it gets here, and how important it is to have properly shaded outdoor seating. Ima be real with you, I get sweaty just drinking coffee or being outdoors, and much more so doing both. I appreciate the creativity it took to think of a decent place to put all of the posh people that dont need to study in your store, but rather want to get out and have a brunch with the broads over a cuppa joe and some delish chess pie. The rear outdoor seating is delightfully decorated and perfect for this.-Insert more pros here that I want to type but Im on mobile and my thumbs are tired and I gotta pace myself for the rest of the review.Cons:-Not enough seating. I know this is contradictory, but I still want it. Maybe we can get more creative with seating, like, and Ima eventually patent this totally original idea, but what if we built adoubledeckercouch?I think that would be a pretty dope idea. I mean, you should have a strict socks only policy for the top deck, and maybe run it by your general liability insurer first, but I think it would be cool. Just saying. Oh, also, a hammock. I would like to sit in a hammock out doors next to the shaded area with a ledge nearby to put my coffee on or my laptop while it plays a video I use to study.-It isnt cold enough. I want it to be colder. Ideally, I will have my laptop and notes on the bottom of the double decker couch, with a soft blanket while the heat of the outdoors is kept away by a surrounding atmosphere of a/c.-The service is slow. I get that this isnt starbucks and you actually care about the product you put out and the people you serve, but I hungry now!In conclusion: I am tired of typing. Support your local coffee shops! Starbs brought the masses decent coffee at a time when America was only familiar with instant coffee (because it was the first coffee we were massively consuming due to wartime necessities), but these indie coffee places are bringing us actually good coffee at a time when all you can get is folgers or barely coffee anymore at starbs. So shout out to The Modern Well, for being worth everything Ive ever spent there, including minutes of my short life.I guess I wasnt as tired of typing as I thought.

Sweet little startup on main street with lots of options and a quick, efficient delivery. Baristas were very patient with my excessive barista-self. Love the textures, plants, smart efficient bar flow design & the latte art. Wouldnt recommend the seasonal rosemary honey latte with oat milk without adding extra syrup - oat is too strong for the smooth delicate flavor of the housemade syrup, but in whole milk, I imagine it is very lovely and effective. Pro-tip, be sure to ask for your coffee in a for-here mug if you wish, it doesnt come standard. Overall, hope to come back soon. Good luck!
