We had shopped at a couple of other stores before finding Loves Furniture. We were in search of a large grey sectional (that had connectors, so the pieces of the couch didnt separate when people sat down -- youd be surprised how hard that detail is to find!).As soon as we walked into Loves, we found the perfect sectional. It even fit the dimensions we were looking for! The young woman who helped us was very sweet and knowledgeable. What we loved most of all, she wasnt pushy. At the other stores, we felt like the salespeople were circling us like hawks. At Loves, she introduced herself and when we said we were just looking, she sat down at her desk. When we found the perfect fit, we were able to wave at her and she came over to answer questions and get us information on ordering.We will absolutely be shopping at Loves Furniture again! Their product seems to be very quality and their staff was great! If youre shopping at the Royal Oak Loves in Michigan, work with Emily! She was great!
Love that you are not hounded & followed as you browse. Our sales associates Jason & Crawford were extremely helpful & very knowledgeable. Not only did we pick out a great sectional, we got all the accessories to go with it! Great experience! We are not getting our items until late December, but it is understandable as all the other furniture stores are experiencing the same.
Very poor customer service!! Was advised on the day of delivery(11/27/20), that my furniture was back-ordered. And the service rep sounded inebriated! I was never called back with a new delivery date. Had to go back to the store for that info, after waiting over 40 mins on hold with the call center. I received part of my order and its 12/11/20. Love the furniture, HATE the customer service!!****UPDATE**** Still no chair and no definite date given for delivery.. I was only told some time in February.. Also I was given an option to take the demonstration chair, but I would have to come and pick it up myself.. REALLY LOVES?!?!?! AND, no one has returned my email regarding compensation.... The only way I would recommend Loves is that this order would have to be COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE! Which I know wont happen.. Any one that deals with Loves, GOOD LUCK!!!
Loves furniture..... on Friday I bought a mattress from loves in royal oak. Delivery was to be today. They never called me with a Delivery time. So around noon I tried to call and email them. They finally responded 2 hours later stating they are having computer problems, and they will call back. At 6 pm I tried again, they still did not respond. I finally reached my sales person and her manager. They explained the earliest I could receive the product was next week. They offered 100 dollars off the first time I talked to them. The second time was 200 off. Keep in mind I already removed my previous mattress., and I was going to have to sleep on the couch. So needless to say canceled my order and ordered one from Gardner white. So to sum it up Courtesy call. And a bit of honesty up front could have saved a sale.
Update 2: Not a surprise they went bankrupt.Update: The only good thing about this company currently is the Customer Experience Manager, Jason Brown at the Royal Oak store on Woodward. Jason was excellent and helped me when no one else would. He went above and beyond what was expected and he turned a terrible experience into a good one.I would still not recommend buying from this company right now. Hopefully one day they figure out the problems. The issues are still very much there. But if youre having issues, Jason is the best person they have working for them.This company is currently a disaster. No communication, total confusion, no accountability and zero support for customers. They have some third party delivery company that they blame everything on. If you get anything from them, make sure you wait until they figure out all the back end problems because its a complete mess. You will not get your order on time, and theyll do nothing to help.
Incredibly difficult to deal with. They deliver the wrong items. Can’t tell you when you’ll get what you ordered. Don’t answer the phones. Could care less about your business. Shop here at your own risk. Good chance you’ll purchase and their doors will close just like Art Van!
I finally am getting my mattress! After sleeping on the couch for a month and a half, I will finally be getting a good night sleep.Overall, I am frustrated with Loves Furniture because they did not come through on their promised delivery time.However, the exceptional customer service of Alina, who took matters into her own hands by contacting me with weekly updates, restored my faith in humanity. She went above and beyond to insure I had a satisfactory experience, even when I was noticeably frustrated. She was a positive standout in the midst of a lot of chaos, and I really appreciate her work ethic, friendliness and integrity.
Loves Furniture went above and beyond the call. David and Jason showed very much compassion to our mothers situation and helped us out when no other store probably would have. We recommend them for all your furniture needs.

I will never purchase from this company again! I purchase my living room set on November 29, 20 with a delivery date of 12/18/20, I threw out my old set for my 12/18 delivery only to get a call a day before the delivery saying the set is on back order and will arrive on 12/29 after no call for delivery window I called to be told my delivery is not on the truck and will not be on the truck until February 2021 Absolutely outrageous!! This is not good for a new company selling items they know they do not have, I took two days off of work to await delivery. I will make sure all of my friends and family know about these shady business dealings and not to shop at Loves as they do not understand integrity.Edit: Thank you for a reply, I have requested a refund twice and have not received one, I am filing a claim with my credit card company.
Lord knows I miss Art Van. However I went to Loves Furniture & Mattress today and purchased some dining room chairs. The store is very nice. They have nice furniture just like Art Van. The staff was very friendly. Prices appear reasonable.
We visited Loves in Royal Oak for the first time yesterday. After having looked at chairs at various stores for a very long time, we found one almost right away that is perfect, and right in our budget. Cassie our sales rep was very helpful and not pushy at all.

I have had a terrible experience with Loves so far. I purchased living room furniture on 9/20/2020 (order #11013349). A chair and a sofa were damaged when delivered. I have had to call Loves numerous times trying to get replacements that arent damaged. One time they sent a chair in worse condition and failed to send a sofa. The next time they were suppose to come but no one showed up and they didnt even try to contact me. The most recent time they came out was 12/19. This time they brought a damaged chair and damaged sofa. The driver wasnt happy I didnt want to keep the items that are worse than what I had already received. So, they left carboard and packing materials on my patio and driveway. They also drove their truck off my driveway and through my neighbors yard causing damage to their lawn. I contacted Loves and they take no responsibility because Loves uses an outside company for their deliveries (JB Hunt... who also outsources there business to other companies!). Additionally, twice while calling Loves the customer service reps have promised me gift cards for my troubles... most recently I was told I would receive a $100 card. I have never received an of these gift cards. Regarding the most recent delivery, the customer service rep I spoke to on 12/21 said she would talk to a manager and call me back in an hour. Its now 12/23 and I still havent received that call. Im so tired of trying to get undamaged items that Im willing to accept what I have if theyre willing to give me a discount for the damage. This company needs to get their act together or theyre not going to be around for long! I think the Detroit area needs a good alternative to Gardner White, but Im not sure if Loves is that company. I would appreciate it if theyd finally make things right with me.

Where do I begin?The customer service is non existent.This is now the second time that I have a delivery date and they arrive without the bed or kitchen table I ordered.This time the delivery guys were completely unaware of a kitchen table.Did anyone call me to let me know they wouldn’t be delivered? NoDid I call on Friday to confirm my Monday delivery? YesIs this now the second time this has happened for the same order? YesMaybe someone on here can help me out with my order. I doubt they look at these reviews though, because clearly they don’t care about customer service.

We ordered a sectional in September with a 11/25/2020 delivery date. No call the day before and no furniture. The “new” date was 11/9/2020. Again no call the day before, I called and was told, dare I say was guaranteed a delivery date of 11/19/2020. Today I am told that my new delivery date is 11/25/2020. I love the Flex Steel furniture but WILL NEVER BUY FROM LOVE FURNITURE AGAIN
This was unfortunately the worst experience receiving furniture ever. First, after finding pieces I loved, I learned the salesperson ordered the wrong pieces (she ordered two of the exact same item). I discovered the mistake 2 days later. Then after getting that corrected, I waited over a month for the items to be delivered. On my delivery day, they called to say that the delivery would be delayed by 3 additional weeks. This unfortunately put me at a delivery date of thanksgiving week. They sent an automated message the day before delivery to tell me my delivery window. They of course scheduled it for the only two hours that I wouldn’t be home, which I told them 3 weeks prior. I tried calling customer service 100x and no one ever answered or called back. I then got multiple automated messages throughout the day telling me that my delivery times were changing. Because no one ever answered the phone, I ended up having to block off the whole day because I had no idea when my furniture we get delivered. They ended up delivering my furniture several hours before they told me they would, which was fine. But they only delivered two out of my three pieces of living room furniture. When I asked the delivery man where my third piece was, he said that he was a third-party delivery company and he had no idea where the the missing piece was. I’ve now spent the last few hours trying to get a human to talk to me and help me find my missing couch that I paid hundreds for. Don’t use this company! They have non-existent customer service and severe supply issues. I still don’t have my missing couch and no one is working on finding it.

Worked with an excellent salesman. Good selection of furniture, and some nice discounts on the pre Black Friday sale. I was able to find what I needed and purchase everything I was looking for. I would have given five stars except that everything I purchased is backordered, and not even available to check out in person on the floor of ANY of their area stores.

I wish there was an option to leave no stars. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Horrible customer service. No transparency and they throw you around for months. Ordered a sectional on 10/3 and was told it would be delivered 11/12. Called the morning of 11/12 to see what time my furniture would be delivered to be told that due to the covid pandemic there was a 1 week delay and I would have it 11/18. Understandable given the circumstances. Fast forward to 11/18, same thing happens. I have been delayed one week at a time for a month now with still no furniture or delivery date. Apparently this sectional is out of stock but nobody felt the need to tell me that when I placed my order. Endless phone calls to Loves Furniture have gotten me no where. Their customer service is atrocious. They have no regard for anyone’s time or needs. DO NOT ORDER from Loves. You will be extremely disappointed and lucky if you ever even receive your order. I’ve been sitting on the floor for a month now with no ending in sight :)

The store looks nice but the customer service is not very good. We wanted to buy 2 gaming chairs (1 from off the floor) as they had no more of that particular color in their warehouse due to a doorbuster sale they had earlier. Our salesperson inquired if we could purchase it and one of the floor supervisors would not allow the salesperson to sell it to us... during a doorbuster sale at holiday shopping season. Confused? Us too. Also the quality of their furniture does not seem to be the best. The merchandise looks good but feels cheaply constructed, yet the prices are not low. Dont think we will return.

After 2 months my dining set has not been delivered, no clear answer is provided, just keep pushing and pushing the date with no idea.The sales team in the store deserves way more stars but the warehouse/operation people deserves none.I have to cancel now and look for new one, definitely such a bad experience.
Our sales lady was very friendly, knowledgeable and knew her business.All the furniture was beautiful and very well made. Had some great sales as well. The sofa we picked out is more than we bargained for as it has a few extras we had not thought of getting. Very happy with our choice and experience at your store. The only complaint we had.... lol...is, holy moly the walking, dang I would have to say the time we spent there we had to have walked at least a mile if not more. Wow, need roller skates to shop around in there....lol
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We ordered two bedroom sets from this location and chose one set specifically because another one we liked was out of stock. The two we purchased were both “in stock” when we bought them. After waiting a month for delivery, the third party delivery company showed up and only has one of the sets.No one at Love’s Furniture contacted us to let us know we would not have both sets delivered today. I called the store and spoke with Jodie, the Operations Manager, and she blamed the third party delivery company for this issue. This is a company they hired; so regardless of whoever Jodie wants to blame, this is a Love’s issue that needs to be resolved. They want to push the delivery another two weeks for this second set. After already waiting a month, this is a terrible response for something I bought specifically for the fact that it was “in stock”.So if you don’t care when the furniture you pay for shows up, then Love’s is your store.

So far i’ve been waiting for my coffee table for over a month past the delivery date. when i called to ask they simply said i would get a call when they have it. i did get a call 2 weeks ago stating i will get it in about a week so that time is now came and passed as well. i’m not upset that it’s late, rather i’m upset with the lack of communication. as of right now i have no clue when i’m getting my table.Update: Loves filed for bankruptcy and has no plans to give me my purchase from October (it is now January).
I went in store today looking for a king mattress. I saw some ads for Ashley Home Goods & was on my way there to check things out (in person) but they jad by appointment only. My guy told me about an ad he seen Loves, we looked up the store...it was not far away so we went there instead. When we arrived everyone was courteous & upon entering the department I had interest in, was greeted with kindness right away. What I like most about the experience is that I was able to walk in without the hassle of an appointment (keep that up because you guys are winning LOL). We have have busy lives & with everything going on these days not only do we have to be careful but time is important also. I was greeted by Ryan who was working the matress department looking for a king sized. He showed me some & was very careful to keep things sanitary in the process. We found the perfect one at our price point without having to check prices & try to negotiate. Item will arrive in the next 10 days & we are thrilled. Overall I highly recommend this store from the experience I had today. I thing Ryan is a great addition to the company, & if the mattress delivered is as great as the experience of shopping in less than 30 mins. WOW Is all I can say!!!

I purchased my pewter chase sofa on September 20, 2020 online with Loves furniture. This experience has by far been the worst Ive ever had to endure with any company regarding items Ive purchased. The original delivery took place on October 3rd and once here at my home, the delivery driver inform me he had the incorrect item and advised that I call customer care. I did as instructed and rescheduled for another delivery for October 6 and was promised a delivery fee refund. On the day my delivery was due I recieved a phone call from a Trish with Loves furniture whom informed me my item was currently unavailable and not in stock. She apologized for the inconvenience and said she would issue me a gift card (which I have yet to receive) and also noted she saw I was due a refund for delivery in my account but had not yet received. She advised me of the date the sofa would be available and scheduled my delivery for October 17th. The couch was then delivered on the scheduled date and the delivery men had no trouble getting the couch in except they had to remove the throw pillows to maneuver better. I was in mid move so I did not upwrap or inspect the couch until the following day when I noticed a big black scuff mark on the plastic and underneath was a rip in the back of the couches seam. I took pictures and contacted loves immediately but was left on hold for an hour. I also emailed. Eventually I was tired of holding so I left a voicemail and selected the return call back option. Needless to say I never heard from anyone. It wasnt until I called and pressed the option to purchase an item did I speak to someone about my damaged sofa. She advised they had none in stock but would be in touch when available and that it was okay for me to use the sofa until they swapped it out. I was given a time frame of late October, early November for the shipment to be in. Of course my frustrations grew because now here we are in November, I have not received any updates of when my replacement sofa would be available, I had not received my delivery refund and I had not received the giftcard I was promised over two months ago. So me and my mother went to the Loves furniture store in Royal Oak. I spoke with the store manager whom emailed herself and the district manager of the issues and she advised she too would be in contact and apologized. She explained the refund had been posted as a store credit and she could not figure out yet how to refund it to my card. She also stated she showed a shipment coming in around the 15 but she could not schedule me because the items must be in stock to set up delivery dates. She forwarded info again about the giftcard I did not receive and sent me on my way. When the 15th came and I heard nothing from her or the company I called again and the young lady advised me that the manager looked at the wrong warehouse and chaise sofa wouldnt be available until November 28th. I was beyond frustrated and she was at least able to issue my refund for delivery but still no giftcard and NO CHAISE SOFA. The woman said she would schedule me for first delivery for November 28th. Now yesterday was a holiday but I thought it was odd that I have received no delivery email or confirmation. I called and spoke with Rachel whom informed me once again that my sofa is not available tomorrow and you all have no idea when it will be....but maybe mid December. I also asked about my giftcard and she stated it would take 30 days from the issue date.....well its been since September/October. All Ive gotten is alot of excuses and empty promises. I have been nice and quiet for far too long only for Rachel to tell me it is what it is unfortunately. It seems the company is more focused on opening more stores than taking care of there existing customers. I have a big mouth and word travels fast when you treat paying customers like they dont matter. Im tired of excuses. Im tired of apologies. I want my couch and giftcard! I pray luck to anyone that goes through an issue with this company because once things go bad they seem to stay that way.
Very odd experience. We walked through both floors of their showroom and did not see one person that worked there. Everyone seemed to meander through and have the same experience as us. Probably could have walked out with several pieces of furniture with no one noticing.
I bought on October 17th a Sofa there for $2,700 without discout. We selected that sofa because we were told by the sell person (number 3439) that it will be delivered by mid November latest. We were happy to receive 3 from 4 pieces much earlier (end of October). Then the problems started, I called a week later to know the status of the 4th piece. We were told it should arrive next week. Having no feedback, I called back again to learn that my order had been considered closed!!! The lady told me she will sort it out and that I should have a ~$200 refund in the next 2 days and my furniture in the next week. On the following Friday I called back.- the 1st person answering did not do anything, she only took my message and told me she will inform the seller 3439, who should be calling me back. As expected he did not call back.- I called back, a 2nd person told me I should receive me furniture on December 12th and while I was asking about the status of my refund, while I was still speaking!! she just transferred my call to a 3rd person!!!!- the 3rd person showed some understanding, she organize the refund, but I will have to wait 1 month longer than promise.In summary, do not buy with the seller (a man) 3439, do not trust him. He is responsible for this mess with my order being closed while I had only received 3 from 4 pieces. And if you call back, always select option 3 and ask the name of the person and write it down.The quality of the sofa is good, but the service offered by Loves was not.

I went into Loves after looking on there website, I found exactly what I wanted!!!So went into Loves on Woodward Ave R.O. MI. I talked to salesman Michael Murray and omg he was great!!!! I am a widower on SS. We filled out a credit application and I think I incorrectly did something wrong ( on the application). It took us over an hour and a half, but finally it went thru, Michael never stopped working and getting some help from others!!!!!!! Great Guy......finally!!!!! APPROVED, purchased my furniture arranged a date to have it delivered. Happy Happy!!!!!!

Well the store on 59 in waterford is now a clearance center so thay cant help you i had to go to Royal Oak on Woodward so now i reorder my sofa and it wont come until the middle of February so well see.

A few problems with delivery but the service in the Royal Oak store was wonderful. Everyone was terrific.

Purchased a mattress over 6 weeks ago and still waiting for it to arrive. I’ve been sleeping on an air mattress in the meantime. Delivery has been scheduled then delayed 4 times with no good explanation why each time. Probably won’t shop at LOVES again.
