Their paint went on smoothly and didnt require as many coats as other paints Ive used in the past. The employees at the Royal Oak store were well informed and very helpful. It took me to get a few colors before I found the right one. After they made a suggestion and showed me more samples I came back and made my final selection. Ill be going back to them for my next project.

Great experience here. I brought in a paint chip from my home exterior, and they matched it almost perfectly. I dont think it could be any closer in color. Service was quick and friendly. They also have a large selection of painting accessories. I will be returning here for my painting needs.

This is my go-to paint shop. High quality paint at a fair price. Especially with sales and coupons. The staff here is what really makes the place. They’re all friendly and always willing to help out. It’s a small place, but there’s plenty of room to checkout the array of colors. The hard part is picking out a color. I’m told this shop also offers an in home designer (for a nominal price). I’ve never used that service. I’d highly recommend this location to buy your paint materials.

I love the Sherwin Williams in Royal Oak. My go to for paint and supplies for years. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great service. Have even purchased wallpaper through them (great selection of books with samples to look through).

Its not particularly easy to select a color online, but the entire staff of this store were extremely helpful and pleasant during what ended up being a week long process. They pulled swatches for me 4 days in a row before I found the right color, and always had a smile for me. If you should decide to paint during the shelter in place order, this is the place to go, with safe and courteous curbside delivery!

I brought a quarter sized paint chip with me and they were able to scan it and match the color exactly. It looks perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though they were pretty busy and it was very close to closing time. I got in and out of there very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place for paint.

Staff are efficient and friendly. The Southfield store did not have the base paint available. The staff called the Royal Oak location. The base paint was available and ready when I arrived. I call that great customer service. Good job Sherwin Williams.

I would tell them that we had a good experience; no waiting, our guy asked what we were painting (bathroom), then suggested a couple of choices that offered mildew control and other features. He asked if there were any other supplies we needed, mixed it up, gave us paint stirrers and our 30% discount and sent us on our way. Very polite and professional !

Place is easy to navigate and they have everything you need. Staff is super helpful...BUT and prices were OUTRAGEOUSLY high. You can now get Sherman Williams at Lowes at much better prices. This is the place your contractor goes because of the corporate discounts

Placed an online order the day before for a gallon of paint, waited half a day for the notification to pick it up & never heard anything. Called in to get the status & they didn’t have the base so couldn’t make it. From the phone it sounded like they knew that. Were they just not going to call and let me know? What a waste of time.

From in-person service, to answering questions over the phone, these guys are great.I also appreciate them telling me about potential savings (Im not sure if you need any brushes but if you spend five more dollars on something small it will put you over $50 and you can save $10, so your cost will be lower...).The last time I called I was asking them about specific paint application on an exterior surface, and the guy I was speaking with mentioned that if Im not in a rush the paint I need will be going on sale in a few days and I can save 40%!!!

For years I was loyal to Sears paint because I was an employee. Twice Sear exterior paint let me down. We are repainting the exterior of our home with Sherwin Williams paint and are very happy with the results.

Recently doing some renovation projects. This store was excellent and patient with my million questions and color blindness:) We used one of their upper end interior paints and it looks fantastic. Including the colors they helped me out with. I will forever by buying this paint.
