Went in at 6:25 when they close at 7 and was asked what I was planning to do on my visit, I was told them I would like to upgrade my phone along with my fiancé, was told that due to lack of staff they couldn’t help me and had me scheduled an appointment for the next day. I show up at 6:00 for a 6:15 appointment and wasn’t helped until 6:30!!! Why have appointments if they are meaningless? Once we were finally helped we were told that the phone we wanted were on back order… something that they totally could have told us on the first visit. Totally disappointed and their customer service was truly unsatisfactory
They are pushy salespeople, they seemed more concerned about having me spend as much money as possible rather than helping me out. They neglect to talk about prices until you get ready to check out. I was very surprised to hear about an upgrade fee that they only tell you about at the end. Do your business online or elsewhere.
Checked into the store to purchase a new iPhone, after the staff member asked me what I wanted, she then asked me if I was a Verizon customer, we have been for years. She then explained the wait would be an hour and a half. I didnt feel welcome at all. Now Im trying to make an appt online at the store and cant even do that. Disappointed in what has always before been a good experience...

Terrible Service....2 times Ive been here and have had to wait 2 hours because they say they have appointments coming in...so 3 people doing nothing cant assist but can stand around talking waiting on appointments for 20 minutes later. I just want to buy a phone...lol
I just was there earlier today, on one of the stores more heavily trafficked weekend of the year. Without appt, a service tech named Kyle was able to seamlessly provide some of the best customer service ever. Not only did I walk out of the store a reconverted Verizon customer, Kyle was able to provide a new S20, smart watch, and wireless ear buds. Hands down, the most refreshing part of his customer service, Kyle recommended certain items be bought out of store saving me a lot of money. I just moved to the area and will most certainly be going back to this store.
Spent almost an entire afternoon here a while back to get a new phone and have the transfer process explained to me and it might have worked had the employee not neglected to put a SIM card in my new phone.
I needed to pick up a cord to charge my phone. It was in stock. I was on and out in apx 15-20 minutes. Great service

I had made an appt to come in on a Saturday to get my daughter’a new phone set up, buy a screen protector, change some things on my bill, and discuss a possible phone upgrade- we arrived at 2 and were met outside by a guy who asked why were there- I said I have an appt and he said okay, why are you here. I explained the reason for the appt and he told us we could stand inside in the corner until someone could help us, at which point he looked at his watch and said his appt hadn’t shown up and he could assist. He was extremely rushed and curt the whole time. He put the $50 screen protector on the new phone extremely crooked and with air pockets (I could have done a haphazard job like that myself), and despite saying he had successfully completed moving a device payment on the line, he actually never completed the transaction and I had to call Verizon wireless and deal with it myself, and while working with him his actual appointment came in and we were shuttled off to another salesperson- who also seemed preoccupied and rushed- she kept stepping away and we couldn’t get any of our questions answered about phones we were looking at for an upgrade- it’s like they were irritated we we asking questions at all. What’s the point of having appointment times if the salespeople aren’t able to focus their attention on you and you end having to deal with multiple sales people and explaining repeatedly why I’m there and then nothing getting done? If they are so worried about time, it seems like constantly swapping customers would be the biggest time suck? I understand it’s a busy store, but aside from having a screen protector put on extremely poorly, we literally got nothing else accomplished that we went in there for. All in all it was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.
Ive stopped by 7+ times, hoping for an open appointment time. No luck. Was told to make an appointment through the app on my phone. If my phone worked that well, I probably wouldnt be looking for another phone.Edit: I think is more of a corporate issue than a local one. I dont think the people that work there are making these decisions and are probably just enforcing what they were told to do and say.
There is something sinister about Verizons sales people and the rude way they tx customers.Cannot put a finger on it,maybe its part of the companys philosophy,psychology, whatever,but their agents are cold,unyielding and certainly distant to ones cell phone needs and finances.The last time I went,the agent spent more time enforcing Covid19 rules until I threw up my hands,walked out,told him to eat sh#t.Never again...NEVER!!
Was a long wait at least 1 1/2 hour or longer. That was not necessary, it only took my business 10 minutes all I needed was a phone number to Financial Services. Disappointed for sure.
Be careful what they tell you and what is true are totally different. Also when trying to sell you extra accessories DONT DO IT. Not only is it cheaper to buy other places but they lie about the prices. They just scammed us out of almost $100.00. Then when u go back to tell them they over charged u they tell u to bad and u cant return them. So your completely out that money. This just happened and we are not happy at all. Everything they said was a lie. DO NOT TRUST THE RUTLAND STORE

I been with Verizon for a very very long time I do my best to stay away from their physical locations they are not customer service oriented they are sales oriented and commission based motivated I got sold a phone rather than having mind service which is what I went and therefore I was told 3 different things the sales person wouldnt even consider taking my falling back to the technician which is what the check in girl suggested so that I could make an informed choice which is exactly what I wanted to do the sales gal was absolutely unwilling to do anything but sell me a new phone my other phone has worked perfectly since then and now Im stuck with a choice of a restocking fee or keeping this fallen for a backup but I am furious I dislike the physical location this particular salesperson was absolutely condescending and rude and I will take this up with customer service and sales via they 1 800 service which has never ever disappointed me which is why Im still a Verizon customer along with that the coverage

Have to say they were extremely busy for a mid day Thursday. I was in there almost 2 hours. I only waited about 15-20 minutes for help. The staff did the best they could for the challenges they had that day. 4 staff on the floor but the customers had an array of challenging issues, not easily taken care of.

Brutal wait to return a device. The associate who helped us was fantastic. The managers, however, were rude, snippy, eye-rolling people. One ignored us altogether. Both seemed to float without anything in particular to do. Never written a review before. Had to write this one. It was that frustrating.

I went into the store with my husbands phone that was in PERFECT condition, not one scratch, had overheated for no reason and shut down and would not turn back on. They gave me such a hard time, first said the manager said it couldn’t be sent as a manufacturer defect because there was some “goo” on the side (literally a speck or two from having it in a case for 2 years) I wiped said “goo” which revealed a pristine iPhone 8plus and asked to speak to the manager (one more time for those in the back... yeah I said it 😂) the lady came back and mysteriously the manager said oh I guess we can try to send it but if the event that there is any sort of condensation I would be charged... long story short I couldn’t disable the find my iPhone, and they couldn’t help me so they told me to leave with the phone and figure it out and call Verizon tech support. When I explained what happened to the lady she said they should have never let me leave with that phone and that they take overheating very seriously, it’s 100 % a manufacturers defect and they had filed a formal complaint about that store. Long store short... NEVER waste your time at this Verizon store, they’re absolutely incompetent... either that or they just don’t want to do their job.

Have rarely been to a Verizon owned store and had a good experience ...and this was the worst. Kyle was less than pleasant and my questions seemed to be a challengefor him. He bordered on rude. People who walked in the door to just ask a question were helped ahead of people who had checked in and were waiting. I look forward to changing providers in the near future.

Well it only took three visits before everything was all good and after I originally tried to do this by myself and after a tech tried to take over! Lol ... its definitely been an adventure! But the woman at the store, Michelle certainly made it right! I wish I could have just done everything on my own through the internet but it seems like there always has to be some sort of interruption. After everything was said and good things seem to be okay.... I may have a different outlook when I get my Bill for The next couple of months but so far so good!
No customer service....told us to figure it out our selves after purchasing two cell phones totaling $1,000+. As far as transferring contacts, etc. After a while person came back with an 800 number and chart but never offered to call it and assist us in the store... very very disappointed with long time customer treatment....

Utter and complete misrepresentation. We moved two family member accounts over to my plan which already had two family members. Straightforward right? We knew of the family plan and and woman who served us confirmed yes - my bill would only got up $60 or so bucks - well today Verizon sent me a bill for $300 more and surprise surprise ... $220 more a month. It has devices that we didnt order with line charges, it has phantom payments for new phones where only a 5s is used. It is just ridiculous - so now Im on line with the central office. You go here at your peril.
I went here to try to fix yet another problem caused by my purchase of phones from the Verizon authorized dealer Cellular Sales in Cape Coral, Florida. Going to a real Verizon store is what I should have done in the first place. These folks were competent, friendly, and if Verizon makes a mistake, they take responsibility
This store is nice and clean but the sales people get a little snotty if you dont buy into the extra deals. I had then put my screen protector on and and they put it ON TOP of the plastic you are suppose to take off. I will never be going into that store again. BEWARE how they put the screen protector on

The employees do not tell you accurate information. Be sure if you choose to purchase from this Verizon store that you ask about everything that will be charged for including any additional charges in the future. They were not helpful at all when I went to ask questions about a device I purchased there and I made multiple visits. When my contract is completed I will be going to a different provider.

I purchased a new phone over the weekend. I asked for an XL model, and was brought the smaller phone, which I noticed, and brought it to the attention of the sales person. Next, I was offered a fairly low price for my trade-in, which was in excellent condition. When I asked why they were offering me so little, they then offered me LESS for the trade. I was told the trade would be applied towards my taxes. When given my bill, the salesperson had not included the trade, which I had to point out. Then, before I left, I noticed a sims card on the table. The sales person had already put on my screen protector and new case, so put the sims card in the box. I thought they had switched my sims card from my current cell, into the new phone. They had not. When I returned home, my old cell worked, but not my new phone. When I called the store to ask why my new phone wasn’t operating, I was asked if I’d purchased the “tech plan.” I explained that I had just left the store. They replied that they were very busy, and perhaps the new phone hadn’t been activated yet. By evening it became apparent that no sims card had been put into my new phone, to activate my phone. By watching YouTube, I removed the sims card from my old phone, struggled with removing the new protective case on the new phone, and discovered that NO sims card had been put into my new phone. I did it myself, to avoid a “technical” fee from Verizon. Now...my phone works. That was THREE STRIKES. Wrong phone to begin with, no recorded trade on my bill, and no sims card, which made for an inoperable phone.

I went in to change my number a different plan and was told no one could help me. Additionally, I was bombarded with sales pitches for devices and services I expressed no interest in purchasing and was repeatedly badgered after politely saying I was not interested. After two hours on the phone with Verizon tech support, my number has still not been switched over to the new account, and the individual I spoke to on the phone seemed poorly trained and unfamiliar with the process. I went through a similar changeover a few years ago and none of these issues were present. At that point, the entire changeover took about 10 minutes and was completed at the store. This review is not intended to reflect poorly on the employees at this particular store, as this seems to be a corporate issue and not one attached to local stores, but I find it ridiculous that a seemingly simple process should consume half the day. It’s too bad Verizon is the only service with decent coverage in this area. As soon as any of the other networks step up in that regard I’ll be switching to someone (anyone) else.

I have to tell you I have been on a roller coaster ride with this store, but I truly think it is not the employees fault for any issues I have had. Verizon needs to better equip their brick and mortar stores with better wifi connectivity! Most of the issues I had happened because the wifi at the store and the lack of enough staff to handle the sheer volume of people that visit it. So if you go to this store, please see Rebecca, Trista or Megan! All three of them were helpful and followed up with me. Rebecca went the extra mile with my wife and me.
