I purchased a pole and reel for a good deal.when I went to use it for the first time the reel was not spinning good.I took it back and the man behind the counter just grabbed me new rod and reel off the wall with no questions or hassle and said here take this new one. Great bait shop, I have been shopping there for many years and the owners now are the best I have known. They have the best bait locally, food, beverages, ice, and tachel for all the local fish.

I love fresh bait. This place always has fresh bait in stock. The owner is very polite and a people’s person. He has a great selection and is in a good location so we can get bait on our way fishing. Highly recommend!

Shady vendor. Called in ooking for jumbo bloodworms and they said they had it. Bought 2 dozens and paid jumbo blood worms price totalling $51 with tax. I looked at the worms and they were the regular sized ones. Told the vendor about it and he just shrugged his shoulders. Shady shady shady.

So I called around to some tackle shops by Freeport to get a good price on a item I needed. He told me one price on the phone and then charged me another. Very sneaky I didnt even notice till after I left because I purchased a bunch of tackle. Never again will I go there.

I called and asked about some fishing gear and rods. Asked if they had any 11-12 ft rods. Was told yep, sure do asked what they were and how much. Was told that Id have to drive over to find out for myself. Im coming in from Oregon looking for something in particular. I dont have the luxury of time to waste looking from shop to shop for a new rod and reel. I will not be stopping by. Wasted my breath calling you. That was some pathetic customer service.

This is one of the easiest places to shop in Freeport you can walk in the door and get anything from bait such as worms for fishing you can get minnows you can get a cold Budweiser you can get cigarettes you can get snacks the only thing I dont have is a full-blown restaurant
