While my wife and I selected a new couch we were left to explore the store but we were constantly attended to by sales staff for questions, measurements, and availability. Finally selecting a couch that wasn’t in stock we had the opportunity to order a new unit at ~w3mo for delivery, or take the floor unit (2 weeks). We’re happy with our purchase.

We were greeted with pleasant and professional sales associates. Showed us EXACTLY what we asked for to compare to get the best affordable, comfortable and functional furniture. Got in on great sale discounts too! I might go back for another piece of furniture. 😁

We had a great experience with this furniture store. After having a terrible experience (0 out of 5 stars) with American Freight Furniture, located in the Arden area of Sacramento, we are so glad we found American Furniture Galleries! Their staff were attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their show room had so many options and varieties to choose from. Plus, the quality of the furniture is extremely fair for the value and costs. We also paid for delivery which included warranty & set up! Wow! American Freight Furniture did not set up our furniture and we paid extra for warranty! Our sales rep was Amanda and she took very good care of us. We will return for all of our future furniture purchases. If you are in the need for furniture, do not go anywhere else!

Me and my wife purchased furniture from them for a new home. We haven’t had the furniture for a year yet and all of it is falling apart. We are the only two people in our household and the furniture is not heavily used but it’s still falling apart. I will never purchase from them again.

Please don’t purchase anything from this furniture place !! I had initially left a positive review based on the service I was given by Tony, a salesman he was great ! But i selected a dinning table, and when I received it, it was very different ! The quality of wood and the finish of the wood was not the same, it’s been about 2-3 weeks yes ! But we were out of town and as soon as we got back my mom noticed that the table they delivered wasn’t the same .... good thing we actually took pictures of what we had selected in store !, I contacted the store right away spoke to MARY, I explained my concern .... and she told me please send the pictures you have, she never called me back after I sent her the photos I waited about 2 hours and decided to call her back, she said oh well you can come in store and select something different. I explained no Thankyou I actually would just like a refund, she replied, ‘no it’s been past 3 days, we can only do store credit, I actually did financing with them I shared that, she said well it’s been past 3 days .. I was very frustrated because yes it’s been past 3 days, I was out of town, it hasn’t been 30 days ! And none of this should matter ! Because what I selected isn’t what I received !!, This made me very uncomfortable with how they went about things I asked her for a Corporate number and she said we don’t have one but I will give you their email, which then she gave me their store email .... please don’t waste ur hard earned money here, there’s so many furniture stores ! And I’m sure they don’t display one thing and give you another ... worst part is she said I showed my store manager and he said it’s poor lighting!!!!! What ??? Umm I’ll let u tell me if this looks like poor lighting !! I will post two photos of the dinning table ! Notice how shiny and glossy the wood is ! Compared to the other table that is Matt and dull ... poor lighting yea right .. you could of just gave me a refund allowed me to make the decision of selecting something else on my own ... but now I feel like this is a scam and fraud place of business .. now I am being forced to make another selection.. when I don’t feel comfortable with this place of business...

I ordered a China cabinet in December 2020 and paid for it in cash. My sales person is Amanda. Understanding that things were delayed due to COVID-19. Is beyond our control.Amanda never took the time to call me to keep me abreast of the status of my merchandise. I called in Feb, because she told me it would be delivered then. I call in April, she told not until May then July 1st. Today is the 6th of July and Amanda never took the time out if courtesy to let me know the status on my merchandise delivery.Every time I received an update is because I called. I have been very patient with her lack of concern and bad, bad costumer service.When I asked to speak to a manager she put on old supposedly and then I was disconnected. When I called back no one answered. I was persistent on calling back several times consecutively and was connected to Maria, the customer service manager. Maria checked on the status on my merchandise and I was told not until end of August in which Amanda just told it would be July 25th.I hope you look into this matter and correction taking for lack of honesty, to say it nicely and her poor customer services qualities. Amanda needs some additional customer service training and any additional training needed to a sales person.I am not happy with the service I received from her except when I paid for the China cabinet.I hope this matter is taken seriously in regards to the quality of customer services, follow-up, clients courtesy and consideration in delivering merchandise on a timely manner or take time to notify the client on the status of their purchase.I would prefer anyone but Amanda to contact me for my delivery. Very customer friendly store with good range & selection of all home furniture.

Purchased a Guardian furniture insurance policy for $359 on our leather furniture set. Attempted to make a claim for a change in color on the lower seat and legs of the recliner, cause not sure. Coverage declined by Guardian with no opportunity to appeal. The photos sent clearly showed change in the leather color. I stated it happened just the week before. Went into American furniture to notify them on unsatisfied claim and they recommended Fibrenew to check the ability to help solve our damage. They clearly said it was damage caused by an accidental human body fluid stain. Why did this happen 4 years into our warranty? It then dawned on me I had a serious response to my Moderna shot of high fevers and chills with sweating for 2 days in that chair reclining. Attempted to reach out to guardian with expert witness update and again because of the time of the initial complaint I did not know what caused the stain and change of color they will not pay to fix. Asked to have their company send a representative out and they declined any further opportunity to remedy this claim.

We bought a sectional Labor Day weekend. They had been running ads saying Buy it today get it tonight. However we were told we would have to wait 4-6 weeks for our purchase. We paid in full up front. 4 weeks go by and I call to check on the status. Now they say it will take 4 MONTHS. By now weve missed all the Labor Day sales so most things are out of our budget. I asked if they would be willing to substitute a different set that might cost a little more and they refused. Poor customer service. go to RC Willy instead.

We went down there to get furniture for my new room and the price that we were quoted included this. Including a giant mirror that came with the bedframe, nightstand, and dresser. Well when all of the furniture came, the movers said that they didn’t have a mirror because there wasnt one quoted in our cost when we explained that we did in fact have it they sneakily told us to take it up with the manager who sided with them and told us that we didn’t include the mirror even though they charged us the extra $200 for the mirror.

I get all the way there to be told they sold all of the nightstands. Needless to say, I went from very excited about my new bedroom purchase, to very disappointed. I bought one of the items, to avoid a wasted trip, but I will take my business elsewhere for all of my future purchases.

I went to pick up my chested drawer from the warehouse but the day before Long Nguyen was my sales representative. He brought me to the correct furniture, he also ordered a piece missing from my bedroom set, upon delivery. I went to pick it up. Already assembled, the women in the office help a lot, allowed me to use the restroom and is very clean. Pick up was smooth and so easy thanks eveyone.

I went in today for a new mattress as well as see if there was a price change on something I bought a week or so ago. The rep that helped with the mattress was helpful until it came to see about the price change. He said he would go look at the furniture to see and then pawned me off on the the rep that helped last week and then that rep passed me off to a man named Sean and he was soooo nice and helpful he definitely saved the night because it definitely made me feel a type of way once they had my money for the mattress and kept passing mea off. It was something so simple didnt take much time.Thank you Sean!
