Manager was very knowledgeable and super friendly! The 10-wine flight for $24 is perfect for two. Add a built-your-own charcuterie board and youll be set.

I have an update about the tasting room… I joined or I thought I did. Come to find out the young man that took our membership, left the job… So me and a few other people were never members.So when I didn’t get an email nor a text nor nothing in the mail, I went up to the tasting room 2 weeks in a row, no one was there, and then I called, to be told someone would get back to me and they never did.I am now glad I did not become a member, because it looks like they have to find someone willing to stay and work that area.It is still a cool spot to sit with a friend or a book and have a glass of wine. I still went and had a glass of wine, and bought a bottle to go…

Et y cute little place to get a glass (or more) of wine. We had a flight (5 choices) and the person here was super nice and knowledgeable about the wines. Really enjoyed.

The prices of the wines offered here are quite pricey. However they offer splendid varietals and blends. It costs $12.50 for 7 wines to taste mix and match. $5 OFF if you buy a bottle. The server manager was quite knowledgeable and nice. I liked the Zinfandel and Cab Franc the best both 2015 vintage. They have food available if you reserve ahead.

Bought the picnic basket deal, and the chocolate waffers are to die for. They melt in your mouth. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmoshphere for a romantic wine tasting. Will definitely revisit.

Had a wonderful tasting with Evette. Had 7 different wines and left with 4 bottles purchased. Both wineries had super unique styles and my favorite was Petite Syrah.Absolutely worth it!

Fabulous experience! Owners Chuck and Yvette are very gracious hosts. This is an adorable little tasting room on a lower level of Old Sacramento. It has the brick and old oak look of the Gold Rush era, with the refinement of a Napa winery. Fascinating and tasty gift jams and cheeses adorn the surroundings.The tasting bar is cozy and comfortable, and the Twisted Twig wine is wonderful. My wife and I favored the Petite Syrah. My wife does not like wine but she loved this vintage!If your ever in the Old Sacramento area do yourself a favor and visit this place, and tell them Patrick sent you :-)

Next time youre in Old Sac, dont skip the Underground Tasting Room. Its directly across the street from the Railroad Museum, in the space that many years ago was Fultons Prime Rib. They serve award winning wine from Twisted Twig and Fenton Herriot Wineries. I especially love the Storyline Syrah. Yum!Yvette manages the tasting room and she is a doll - gracious, friendly and knowledgeable.
