The young lady who rang my purchases was very sweet. My cookies however, expired in April but still on shelves in August. I didnt realize until I ate one after I got home. Customer Service barely acknowledged me - too busy having a convo instead of just saying I will be right with you. Sucks not to be Russian.

This site is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. when I want to go to a decent supper, this is the place that comes straight to my mind. exeptionalgorgeous and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.generous staff, and great mood. Also, the price is fair. I recommend this place with no hesitation.

I really like this local store. It sells food quality food that we used to buy in former Soviet Union such as Russian candy, pelmeni, sweets, different kinds of sausages and cheese, etc. They also have hot cooked food, salads, produce. You even can order food for your family gathering in advance.

Great pies and cakes always nice and warm like your favorite blanket. They even went and got someone who spoke English so she could make sure of what I wanted.

Good selection of goods, but .. be careful !!!! This store cheats for money. They counted $ 278. They demanded to count. The purchase was $ 120, $ 158 was cheated. Returned. The amount of deception exceeded the amount of the purchase itself. Be careful with them. !!!

We got charged a CRV Glass fee of .05 cents when we did not buy anything bottled. I told the cashier that and she said it was for the croutons we bought . Hmm scam. Check your receipts. There was a lady before us showing her receipt that she was overcharged.

Unfortunately they sell expired stuff here. Watch out for the expiration date.

Good European deli meats and they carry French feta cheese!

There is a sign of mask required at the entrance of the store but half of the visitors are without a mask all together! Even a cashires wear their masks down their noses. Its completely irresponsible and unacceptable. I also wonder if if its legal considering current state of events with infections on the rise.

Lots of cool European food, reminded me of the things my German grandparents would have in their kitchen.

This is a Russian owned grocery store featuring imported goodies such as chocolates, candies, cookies, creamy cakes, and baked goodies such as braided cakes and oven fresh piping hot breads. Besides those, there are imported various delicious cheeses such as havarti, swiss cheese from Switzerland (no less) and too many tasty salami choices from wet to dry from all over Europe and even from Israel, all sliced to your specifications. Not to mention different styles of bacon, smoked fish, pickled veggies plus fresh fruits and vegetables. Its THE place for imported drinks, teas, jams, and everything else. There is a small selection of fresh meat such as fish, chicken and ground meats. There is also a small dairy section and their house sour cream is out if this world! All produce and meats are farm fresh and naturally grown! There is a yummy hot foods section for your lunch break! The only problem in general is the labels are not always translated into English on every product and since I cant read Russian, German, Deutch, Polish, etc languages...I have to ask. The staff is helpful and friendly. This is definately a place to come to see how the people eat throughout Europe on a day to day basis.

It is mostly Russian products, should be called Russian Deli🙄 prices are good and the fresh bread is amazing. They are not requiring face masks. Even employees were not in compliance with the masks. More German products would have been appreciated.

My wife loves this place, she is from Russia and they have many foods she is familiar with, and clerks speak Russian

Great store . Customer service is not the best the cashier was very not nice . She did not ask me if I needed a plastic bag. And she did not say have a nice day as well. It is there job to make the customer feel good when they come to the store. I think the managers need to have that checked out.

Ive lived in in the Sacramento area for almost 16 years. My daughter visited me Sunday and pointed out this wonderful place. Got stuffed cabbage here today. My mother is from Krakow and she made the best stuffed cabbage ever. Their stuffed cabbage was soooo good. Thanks - Ill be back for sure.

Good variety of Russian food. I like the availability of herbs and uncommon fruits such as quince and currants when theyre in season. Neighborhood can be sketchy and minus one star for the service from cashiers.

Half of the customers do not wear masks – and nobody is enforcing itThere is no sanitizers for customers and even salespeople wear masks partially – below their noseNobody is enforcing 6 fts distance while in line to a cashierI won’t visit them until the pandemic is over, it seems very unsafe

Go there for specific items usually. NONE of the workers know how to smile apparently. No greetings, nothing. Definitely something they can work on. Also the items they have sitting in the already small aisles can be a hazard.

Great European store for fresh salads, meats, etc. But double check the expiration tags, I just recently walked out, got home and noticed about 3 items including fish that was already expired. No bueno guys, LOVE the store but things like that are NOT okay.

Like this store because it sells a lot of groceries which Im familiar with. You can always ask for a deli and dessert sample before purchase and to make a decision. This store salad counter bring me some concern, since their dates of being made are unknown and also how long they sit there in the fridge are unknown or if they make new one daily and dispose the rest from the night before. Some of their groceries are expired, so please check actual manufacturer stamp because some stickers cover a lot of truth. Their staff is friendly, however some safety precautions are being ingnored. Staff doesnt wear hair nets while cutting deli meat.

Its very distinct and caters to Ukrainian, Russian, Armenian and even guys like me. It obviously doesnt have what other delicatessen stores have and viceaversa. I just bought a huge bottle of lemon water sweetened with sugar that you cant buy at Walmart, FoodMax or Winco and its very good. Their produce section has gotten much better over the past few years but still lacking the freshness and quality were all used to. The seafood looks horrible and I wouldnt touch it if you paid me but Ive eaten the ground beef with no problems and their hot food selection (chicken wings and legs, meatball and yukon gold potato with baby dill is delicious...they have several ethnic dishes I cant really describe. One looked like a potato pancake and some kind of beef on a stick). Plenty of frozen foods like frozen sweets and pasta. Theres a decent meat deli and a big assortment of pastries, cakes and bread from different countries. They take cash, credit and debit. You wont always find a cashier (theres 2) that speak fluent English but it doesnt matter. Youll get through it with no problems.

Its a Russian store. The staff is not very talkative and a bit abrupt, but thats just a part of the Russian culture. If ur not sure about the selection they will help u, and the customers usually will be happy to assist u if ur not sure what the products are. One thing to keep in mind though, is that most of people there are strict Christian. A lot of sweets, Russian type of sodas, fish, and cakes. A decent vegetable selection

Great selection of food and cakes. Also people have discounts if you give the phone # to the store just to keep you on the system. I mean the never bother you by texting calling or send propaganda.

Terrible experience. Bought a cake there and some sweet waffle rolls (trybochki). When we got home and served both to our guests for tea, we found that the waffle rolls were not only hard, the cream filling inside had a foul odor. As for the cake: whoever ate it had terrible diarrhea.We took both back to the store the next day, and the store manager/owner( lady with short dark hair and glasses) came out of her office and verbally attacked us for returning the items. We tried to explain that both products are not fresh, we had become sick after eating them. She never even apologized, just said her food is always fresh and there is no way we could become sick after eating the cake. There was nothing else on our table besides the cake we bought and the waffle rolls. The store did give us our money back, but after a huge, loud verbal argument, and we were made to look like fools and/or liars. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE, never going back.
