Freeport has so much good stuff on this block. Taylors has very hard to find and niche items. Whoever does their inventory is well educated on products as most are generally the best in their class. For coffee they have the best sacramento roasters, their meat is top quality. Consistently having the best stuff in a very small store.

Taylors Market has been a local tradition since the early 1960s. Taylors Market is clean, well organized, boasts a robust Meat Counter and Butcher, has a wonderful Deli, farm fresh produce, gourmet meats, spices, and international products They have a great wine selection. All for very reasonable prices, excellent customer service, neighborhood gourmet Market. Love this store!! Carries all the usual, but also the unusual. I love browsing the shelves and getting things I cant find elsewhere. Every time, the clerks are very welcoming and polite.

Taylors never disappoints. The butcher shop takes such great care of their clientele. They talked me out of spending more money than I could have for the best cut of meat. They are true masters of their vocation...

Its a fairly small place but it has a very comfortable vibe and offers several products that are hard to get elsewhere. Everyone says that the butcher counter is one of the best features here but do make sure to turn around and take in the cheeses and while youre at it go into the next aisle and take a look at all the jars. Now if you bought anything from those aisles, youre bound to get thirsty so be sure to get some of those beautiful coffee beans and grab a bottle of wine.

This store is a gem! The cuts of meat are outstanding and they have a unique selection of products. Service is outstanding. It is pricier...but...you get what you pay for.

Amazing little local grocer. The meat selection is the best in Sacramento! They also have an amazing wine section. Always chat with the wine guy because he will reliably introduce you to something spectacular thats reasonably priced. They have lots of great craft beer, gourmet cheeses, fresh breads, and local desserts. They also carry a lot of prepared salads and entrees which are really delicious AND a gorgeous restaurant next door.

If you like feeling like you’ve gone back to the time when grocery stores had one little grocer behind the counter and you gave him your order of groceries which were then wrapped in a paper bag, Taylor’s is the neighborhood market for that feel good customer service. And oh my do they have quality. So many items are local and special to Taylor’s market. The meat counter is divine, the staff super friendly, and their deli sandwiches are my favorite in the WORLD. And that is saying a lot. I’ve had deli sandwiches in over 30 states and several countries but Taylor’s sandwiches are deli perfection down to the last bite.

They have a nice deli and a small sandwich selection. I was also pleased that I could find some Italian groceries that were otherwise difficult to find

Excellent specialty market and butcher. Has one of the best meat departments in Sacramento. one of the few that dry age their beef. This is the only place I will buy steaks. The butchers have no problem going into the back and getting you fresh cuts of meat, or adding some amazing marinade for you. They really go above and beyond. The prices are reasonable for what youre getting, restaurant quality meats that the supermarkets just cant touch.

Ive only bought meat and a lemom from this market a few times. Every time the meat was extremely fresh and of great quality. The lemon was perfectly ripe as well. I highly recommend this market for meat!

I have ordered 4 meat items to be shipped together, Tuesday, My order has not left their location,Fed Ex says that the label has been created, but the order has not been picked up and this is Sunday! I will never again order anything from Taylors Market, I called talked to the shipping dept. and all I got was excuses. and Im Sorry, That doesnt cut it with me. I expected a lot better service! I think if I could stop the order in mid stream, I would and order from some other source.

This is a very nice little store. Basically a rich persons idea of a corner store. Everything is very high priced, but if you like looking fancy while youre picking up some milk this is the place for you.

Really great menu of unusual food preparations and a wine list for the curious at heart. We made a good discovery with a suggested Central Ottago Pinot on the list for $52. Great find and great experience overall. highly recommended.

Great little market with fresh produce, good beer selection and fresh bread. We regretted not buying any meat on our visit because their meat counter was well stocked and well staffed.

I avoided Taylors for awhile because of its rep as an upscale, foodie market. When I finally went there, I loved it. Its just a small, selective market with outstanding meats, wine, cheese, and a quirky selection of canned and jarred goods. In a pinch, you can even get ordinary (but rather expensive) sundries there, which is nice when you just need one or two things and dont want to battle the crowds at Raleys and Target. In those situations, I usually walk out with three things, though--cant resist their sea-salted blondies by the checkout stand.

America is a place of diversity - and Taylors Market adds its own share of fresh and tasty vegetables, fresh meats, italian and french produce, some of the best bread we have been able to find anywhere in Sacramento as well as over 100 different kinds of microbrewery-products. Taylors is on the expensive side, but the produce is worth the money :)
