I would recommend this place to eat for anyone who loves Asian food! Customer service is really good. I believe because of the pandemic they are limited on ingredients hence why the four star. Such as the papaya salad now is served with smaller portion from what I remember.
Just moved to the area and it was my pops birthday and he wanted some larb. This place is down the street so thought I’d check it out. The food and service was great! Feels good to support local small family business. Highly recommend for Lao food.
Always a great place to pick up some delicious beef larb & papaya salad (Laos style). We also picked up some sticky rice & Nam m
Come visit you have a a warm weird experience
Foods great expecially the whole fried fish
One of the better spots for Asian hot food. Always get raw laab here and pho.
Nice customer service
Best kapiek Ive ever had, I live in Davis and this is worth the drive
Are they still open? Because about a month ago I went there around 12 and they were closed and I’ve been calling them and no one answers.
Great and affordable papaya salad, Lao sausages, and Khaopoon! Everything was great and taste delicious! Friendly customer service and it’s cool they’re it’s located in the one of those hole in the wall small markets! Not the best neighborhood but I love this unique store and it’s Lao food court!!! Yum, eat here!
Authentic Lao food. You can eat there or take it to-go. They also have a little market with Lao specialties. Some of my favorite dishes: Larb, Kao Piek, Pho, Lao Sausage, Chicken Wings, Sticky Rice & Gang Na Mai. Oh, and the Thai Iced Tea and Coffee are both good here. Its a small parking lot which it tough at times.
My bf and I always come here for their papaya salad, beef laab, braised pork, Lao sausages, rice, and a coffee and Thai tea. My bf likes their Kapoon as well. We have never been disappointed and their flavors and quality are always consistent. Customer service is always good and they are always polite.
Shop sometimes. But today me and my friends eat and drink there for 4 hours. Didnt get kick out yet. I say were good!!! I saw many people dined here. Asian Thai food. Seems popular.
I love this place. Best food ever!
While happily devouring everything we couldnt help but to talk about how lucky we are to live in a place where we have access to so many delicious kinds of authentic foods from all over. Such good food.
The food is really good. I love their papaya, sticky rice, and steamed meatballs.
Food is fresh and tasty.
The hidden gem in Sacramento, the food are great! so authentic, and the service also great! They’re so friendly
I love this place always quality food & service. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. Atmosphere and food reminds me of Virginia Beach.
Food to much msg
Authentic food. The best in town! Never disappoints. Definitely a must try spot.
Smack city 🔥🔥🙏💙
Parking suck... food is a must try... I love their kao piek & papaya there. Never disappointed me at all.. customers service is also great 😁
Excellent food here! Best larb in Sac Town!
The BEST Laotian food in Sacramento! Everything is made FRESH! The Papaya Salad is absolutely divine! The Laab is very authentic tasting! And they will accommodate your spice level or any other requests, with no problem!
First time here. Bomb Lao food. Very authentic...No pictures ...Food had no chance for pictures....wolfed down the papaya, beef larb, chicken wing, sin lot and sticky rice...😊
Khaopoon was wayyy salty. Usually its very good. Perfectly made. But havent been there for almost 2 months. Its very salty now. Hopefully next time it wont be. It is one of my favorite khaopoon places. Sooo...well see next time. Raw beef laab, too much fish sauce. Not to my liking.Pad thai is good. Pho is ok. Sausage is a bit to sweet for my taste. Papaya is good, but portions are too little.
Great Laotion food hidden inside a supermarket. Supermarket portion is very limited but it was intended for the food. Great tasting food but it is kind of expensive compare to other places. Prices use to be great.
Best lao spot in south sac must try. Never dusappointed
Love their Khao piak . Bomb food
Best beef pho in town! Good papaya too. Limited parking space
Simple Laotian cuisine thats feels and tastes homemade. A must for classics and unique specialities that different from its Thai counterpart.
The noodles here are excellent!
Great Lao food and decent prices.Nice clean place, definitely a hole-in-the-wall gem.
Its a chill place to pick up some Papya and chicken, sticky rice and so on if u love Laos food! 🤗
My favorite place to get tam sum! Super bomb nd omgosh, they take me back to the 90s asian markets. I love it so so much.
The restaurant is probably the most authentic experience to Laotian food and is always good.
Best papaya and raw laab in Sac hands down! All other foods - kopia, kapoon, sausages, pho - are also superb! Check em out!
We been here so many times and have loved it. But today will be the last time. They gave us overdue soggy rice and soggy papaya salad. Smh I couldn’t even swallow the rice or the papaya. And it’s only $7 papaya and you don’t get much either & never complained. We are loyal customers but today the food services is so BAD if you ask me. Never coming back here. If you want customers!!! Serve them good food you want to be served as well not just bcuz ur lazy to make new rice or shave a new papaya for ur loyal customers.
This Place have good food like hm made
Go to spot...always good.
I love the raw labb. Its the best.
South Area Market is probably the best place to go for authentic Lao food.
Divey- hole in the wall place. This places serves the closest to authentic Lao & Thai food. The guys who wait tables are upbeat and friendly....may be salty for some.My sister found the Kapone noodle salty. But I cant argue because the backdrop of southeast Asian dishes have fishsauce.
Awesome staff great conversation awesome food
In my opinion, they serve the best bowl of pho in the area. Its rich in flavor, so no need to add rooster/hoisin sauce. They keep each table clean and stocked with whatever you may want to add though. I hate going to places and having to steal hot oil from another table. You know what I mean. Lao sausage is good also. Add some fried meatballs, dipping sauce, and some sticky rice, a beer or 2 (or some Thai tea), and mmmm mmmmmmm! They have a couple screens to catch whatever game is on, like Cavs v. Celtics round 1 game right now.Lastly, the bathroom is also kept stocked and clean.
Food is really good and always consistent.
Food is flavorful and authentic. Portion is small.
Great no frills, authentic Laotian food.
