Great place to find slightly used baby clothes. You can also bring in your old baby stuff.

I dropped off 4 garbage bags full ( I know a lot of clothes) but i asked before hand if there was a limit and she said no just 1 1/2 hour wait. So i drop them off and spend my time elsewhere until i get a text saying there done. I get there and out of all 4 bags FULL of perfectly clean 3-12 month boys clothing..they wanted not even 1/2 a tote full. Which would have been fine if they went thru all 4 bags.. But i dont believe they did only because the bags were tied the same as they were when we dropped them off. I was more than willing to shop there with the exchange from all the bags.

Extremely disappointed. I dropped off 5 bags of clothes to be sorted and was told it would be about 3 hour wait by Ty. This was at 3pm he assured he that I would have time to pick them up as they were open til 8pm. Jokes on me when I walked into the store and was turned away and told to come back during business hours. Employees dont even know what time the store operates.

Clean, hung up and orderly resale of childrens clothes from newborn to junior sizes. Books, some sporting equipment, toys, shoes, strollers and so much more. Employees are dressed appropriately, helpful and discount for items that have minor issues. All in all, this store sells gently used clothes for kids at really good prices and also purchases your own childrens clothes and toys not used anymore. Its a win/win experience!

Bought a mamaRoo swing back in July from this location. When we asked if we could test it before purchasing, we were assured that everything is tested and in working condition. Fast forward to now, we just brought our newborn home, and the swing does not work at all. We should have tested it sooner, but really didn’t think to because we thought we could trust that the store wouldn’t sell broken items. Pretty upset that we wasted almost $100.

Very gently used clothing, shoes, toys, strollers at low prices. Clean store, friendly staff. They have basically any necessity you would need if you are a new parent or have small children.

I’ve always loved shopping here! I can always find great stuff! BUT.. I was very disappointed and kind of shocked that 2 employees did NOT have masks on. And another employee had one on but under her chin. This was on Saturday when it was quite busy! I had seen that they would be practicing safety measures in their store—BUT THIS WAS NOT TRUE!

Great selection of clothing and toys! Very organized and clean. Clothes are all nice. Some items they are asking way too much for, some almost at store prices. Just have to be careful and shop wisely. I unfortunately passed on a lot of items I wanted to buy due to the high cost per item. But I still left with a cart full and got a great bargain!

This is the BEST store for gently used childrens toys, clothes, strollers, sometimes even furniture! Some of their stuff is new, store overstock donations. The rest is carefully inspected and cleaned before being put out for sale. FAR better quality than any thrift store and not too much more expensive than Goodwill. If there are children in your life and you have a spending budget, you NEED Once Upon A Child!

The environment is wonderful, I had my son with me and didnt think about how I would bring in the items from my car; just then I got a helpful hand. One of the workers were on their way into the store and offered to help me. I felt really thankful.

What a joke. I purchased almost ALL of my maternity clothes from here. When buying the staff encouraged me to sell them back when I was done with them. I took them in today and they rejected 75% of them. Even though I bought them from there. I wish I hadnt wasted my time. I have tons of name brand, nice clothes.... that I was told people just arent buying maternity clothes. Maybe if they had a bigger selection people would buy? They have no problem JAMMING childrens clothes so tight that shopping there is a hassle.Not worth the 40 mins it took them to look thru all of my clothes and reject them. Wish I hadnt even gone there. Never again.Not to mention all of their baby accessories (bassinets, strollers, ect) are extremely overpriced for used items. May as well just buy them new for damn near the same price.

A lot of really nice items here to buy. Ive bought some clothing and a swing from here. The staff is very nice and theres a lot of options. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it is very cramped, and the prices are a bit high for used clothing. But everything we have gotten here has been very nice!

Great used toys for the kids

My daughter and I love this store. I only wish the shoe selection could be kept in smaller totes. There are so many (which is wonderful) but the totes are large and so heavy. I was unable to pull them off the shelves to look. I feel bad asking for help when everyone that works there is so busy helping other customers.

Store is getting more organized and easier to locate items you need. We found what we were looking for plus some. Always a pleasure to shop there. Greeted us right when we walked in the store.

The ladies here are super lovely! Eager to help and just gush over the cute things to find and are super sweet to the kids when people are shopping with their child. I wish their building had more space for them as it is a bit cramped, but they cant control that and hopefully one day they can get to a bigger facility so that it is easier to maneuver around the many goods available - toys, clothes, strollers, bouncers, and much more

I’ve shopped O.U.C. for the last 8 years. I go 3 or 4 times per year. Today, I had a terrible experience at the Troy location. I was told I didn’t shop there if I didn’t like their store policies about making appointments. I was unaware you needed one and have never made one in the past. I received an email inviting me to the store for a sale. I left the Troy store and immediately googled another location. I called the Saginaw location and spoke to Amber. They did not require appointments. They will accept / buy items as long as you have a.mask and not having any COVID19 symptoms. I shared my experience with Amber and inquired about store policies. Not only did Amber apologize for the other location, she invited me to drive to them, asked my name and inquired about what I was looking for and the best time to come so she could assist me. I drove back home and picked up a few additional items. I proceeded to the Saginaw location on our way up north — excellent experience! We called 15 minutes out and they said “we look forward to seeing and it was a great time to stop!” I was greeted with a smile. I dropped my bag and shopped. Within 10 minutes, they took 11 of the 14 items for credit. They gave me an additional $5 off for driving to them and O.U.C. reusable bag for future drop offs and purchases (so you remember them). They also checked in the back for a couple items I was looking for — so pleasant and helpful. I felt like they wanted my business!I will never shop in the Troy O.U.C. location. I will plan my future trips to the Saginaw location when we travel up north. It was such a more pleasant experience and you truly felt appreciated as a customer. Ask for Amber or Heather If you visit Saginaw — both were absolutely amazing!

Not a good place to sell your stuff to. You are better off donating to a friend who can really use and appreciate it or saving up stuff for a garage sale as they give very minimal cash. For ex., I brought in a bike that I paid $110 for new (still in great condition) and they wanted to give me $6 for it. Im sure they would have turned around to sell it for $50 or $60. It is way more hassle to sell to them as they are very picky in what they take and the little they may take and/or buy from you, they give you barely anything. Sometimes easier to throw away things then to haul all the way there, depending on where you live, just to unload back again into your garage or house. It is also a wait to see how much they will give to you as they look most everything up I hear. They also were not that friendly and didnt seem to be customer oriented. The pricing there is also a bit outrageous. I strongly suggest going to garage sales than purchasing anything here. I have never written a negative review for a store but I just had to given my most recent experience as I believe in the better good for everyones sake. Hopefully I save a few people time and aggravation by not considering to sell their stuff to them.

I love this store. For a single mom on a budget as my girls were growing up I was able to cloth my kids in nice clothing that I may not otherwise been able to. I then was able to sell them back. The clothing is always in nice condition with no stains. The employees are very nice there.

Inaccurate and incomplete discription of items when selling to the store. Employees are not provided with appropriate options from within system provided by the company. It is unfortunate that a corporation  Top Quartile Average Gross Margin 63.92%uses vague descriptions of items instead of accurate ones that would have the potential to increase profit, and customer satisfaction.

Decent inventory. Good prices. Could be organized a little better. People can mess up their sorting and things can get snatched up pretty quickly.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. They told me it would take 20 minutes for them to look at my clothes. It ended up being a hour because they looked at other peoples clothes first. Then they never took any of my clothes. They told me that they were to worn but the clothes looked brand new. There clothes on there sales floor are over priced and if you dont look at them real good. You end up with stained up clothes and holes in them. The friendliness of the cashier depends on the day. You can not ever find any help out on the sales floor. I bought some clothes on the clearance rack for my kid. I got home and found out they did not fit. I tried to take them back with a receipt. They said they will only do a exchange and only this one time. She said next time if they dont fit I have to keep them anyways. Then she said they would be a even exchange and then charged me the difference. They have also done away with there punch card which I think was a huge plus! I only shop here if I have too which is hardly ever now. Cause I dont feel like spending my hard earned money to get treated like a second hand citizen! Avoid this place if you can!

Took in some of my daughters clothes to sell and they told me it would be about 40 minutes. An hour and a half later I noticed that they went through my bag of clothes and ask if they are done....Did you get a text? I say no, Then we arent done. I can see a pile of my daughters clothes next to her. I have like $100 worth of clothes in my cart that I intend to purchase from their shop, so I just wait because it cant possibly be much longer right? So wrong. Another 15 minutes goes by and they still havent texted me. I just gave them all the clothes I intended to buy and asked for my clothes back. Ok they said and handed me all my daughters clothes back. As a business, I would never jeopardize a big sale just because my employees are taking their sweet time putting information into the computer, especially since my daughters clothes were right there to put into the computer....right next to the cashier. They do have great deals on gently used clothes but I will never try to sell there again. Total waste of an afternoon.

This location is a joke. I went to sell a car packed full of toys, baby gear, and 2 coats, and they offered me $40. I asked them to break it down for me. For example, I brought in an ergobaby carrier, with an infant insert (I spent $180, for both). In top condition, zero wear and tear and they offered me $10. A baby organizer (paid $30), brand new still in box and seal was never broke, they offered me $2 for it. A designer coat, in top condition (paid $60-70) and they didn’t want it. I’m not sure they realized the value of the coat... I was told at a different location, that they had a computer system that gives the prices for each item... I’m not sure that this location, uses the same system. I brought in 3 bins full of clothes to the location in Okamos, they didn’t need many clothes at that time (no biggie), so they only took about 3/4 of one bin, all together; and gave me $101, for it! I will not return to the Saginaw location. Also while I was waiting, I looked around and the clothes their are junk and not name brand... I found one sweater, that was guess. Iv been to 3 other locations and their clothes selection is ten times better!Edit: I did not sell my stuff to them, I packed it back up in the car, I’d rather give my stuff away to a friend!

My wife loves to go here, this was a first time for me . We were looking for a baby monitor and they had several on hand and a good price . Everything in the store is second hand, but believe you me there are a lot of items that are new or like new and most at a reasonable price .

I am very clean and OCD IIwent to sell some brand new clothing and was told my items smell bad so they wouldnt even look at them. These were all brand new! And the few items that werent had just been laundered. The store was so full of things you couldnt hardly walk through it and there were so many bins of shoes at the counter you couldnt even reach the counter. The staff was not friendly. Most of the items I looked at were very worn and stained. I would not recommend. I wont be back waste of my time and 2 hours in the car! My husband and I also pulled everything out to smell it and there was absolutely no smell! If you dont want to do your job which they seemed annoyed to service me then just say so! Or if you are too full of items then say so, dont tell people their items smell! Very unprofessional!

Went to sell some of my sons clothing from last year. waited2 hours for them to tell me that they wont look at it because there was pet hair in all 3 bags. I dont own pets. Im allergic. one pair of sweat pants had one of my hairs on it so, they didnt even look at the rest. what a waist of my time. wont be returning.

This is a good store to shop at if you are looking for 0-12 month clothing or baby items. There is a big selection. If you have a older child(3- 10) your looking to shop for you will be wasting your time. The clothing is not brand name like you would expect and the clothes are all faded and some are even stained including the baby clothes. Overall dissapointed with this store.

Prices are fair for gently used items. ... I disagree with not securing the items up high to the racks that they are placed on. I was there the other day and had two items fall on and near me. What if an item fell on a child and seriously injured them? I highly suggest rethinking the layout of the store to fit bigger items on the floor rather than up above the head. Or if you have to have large items above the head then dont put so many on a rack and zip tie them to secure them to the racks. .... Until then shoppers shop while looking up so you dont get bonked on the head while looking for a good deal.

The store is so unorganized! I gave up digging through a ton of “3t” items when I found every other size mixed in as well. I asked about a filthy swing that was missing pieces but was priced just as high as the others. The lady shrugged her shoulders and said they bought it without all the pieces so they have to sell it with the others just like it, for the same price. What an unorganized rip off of an establishment!

It’s a great place to buy and sell your children’s clothes they’ve outgrown. 97% of what they resell is clean, and stain free. Their prices are fair and toys and such are in really good condition.Others may have had poor experiences with selling items to them, but remember it goes by not just brand but also quality of the item. I got $12 just for some old play tables and an old baby monitor I bought for my daughter that she’s now too old to use and play with. Which is a fair price since I bought them at a mom-to-mom sale to begin with for less than that.I honestly think people go in there thinking they’re going to walk out with $100. It’s not happening unless you bring in loads of top name brand clothes, toys, and extas that are in immaculate condition.

Pros:This place is chock full of stuff from ages newborn to tweens.They buy and resell baby gear and other items like highchairs and bouncers.They have some good deals like 5 onesies for $5.Cons:Many items are priced much higher than the brand or quality actually are.This place is incredibly small given the amount of inventory they carry, if youre not planning on an all day shopping trip there its hard to find anything because they stack racks 2 tiers and those racks are loaded with tiny kids clothing. Its a lot to go through!
