This was a cute and delightful find! An assortment of goodies on the store side and yummy food from the cafe. I had the Buffalo Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap and my boyfriend had the BBQ sandwich with slaw. Definitely recommend!

First time to The Dilly Dally. We wanted lunch while at the dog show at the civic center. Popped over to Dilly Dally & grabbed sandwiches and chips. Everything was delicious and good prices. We look forward to going back. All of us said we wish we had gone a year ago when they opened.All the employees were kind, respectful and polite. There was a good variety of foods to choose from on the menu.

This little shop is so cute! The ice-cream is delicious with lots of fun flavors. Service is pretty quick and the employees are pleasant. The little area where you order food is fairly small and cramped though, which is the only downside especially for walkers and wheelchairs.

Nice staff with the hometown feel our neighborhood needs. We love to go get ice cream after Special events or just because! Theres rarely a line and always a smile ready for you.

We stopped here on our way home from a trip and we are so glad we did! Everyone was very friendly and the hotdogs were great! We are so sad we live so far away but hope to be back in the future. Highly recommend stopping in!

Today, I was able to pick up cupcakes, ice cream, pimento cheese, potato salad, & chicken salad. All delicious. Great staff. Definitely, worth a visit.

The Dilly Dally was a favorite spot when I was young. I remember going there for sodas and snacks. Now that they have remodeled and reopened, it’s now my favorite place to swing by after work and grab a couple of hot dogs or barbecue. There is a lot of cool things on the shelves. The cupcakes the sell are By far the best I’ve ever had. Try the lemon-blueberry....it will change your life!

I cant say enough good things about the reopened Dilly Dally!! Since it opened, I have gone quite a few times. The store itself is so charming, and they are so kind and accommodating of all of their customers. When I take my dog on walks on the greenway and stop by, she is allowed to go in which makes things much simpler! They have a water bowl outside and one time even gave her a treat. Also, the ice cream is SO GOOD!! I am thankful for a new spot to go and spend time with friends. Definitely recommend visiting!!

The Dilly Dally is a wonderful store that has GREAT small town charm. The store sells a variety of locally made merchandise and goodies as well as everyday necessities. The made to order hot dogs and barbecue are so incredibly good. Their Ice Cream ( Ashby’s ) is absolutely delicious and their homemade, locally baked, “Neena’s Cupcakes” are the best around. The Dilly Dally is a true treasure, right in the heart of Salem.

Dilly Dally is a fun stop, close to the greenway in Salem! Pop in for water, soda or a special treat - cupcakes and ice cream! They carry many Virginia made products - salsas, jellies, wine, etc. Plenty of outdoor seating and the owners are very engaging! Pick up a bottle of wine or beer for dinner.

Such an awesome store with something for everyone. My kids love going there just as much as I do. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and great prices!

Just recently reopened and held on to a lot of the nostalgia. I love the glass bottle sodas and the fancy cupcakes by Neena’s Cupcakes. They have a bunch of other miscellaneous essentials too. Definitely worth a visit each time we’re in Salem to visit family! Our kids love it!

This is a wonderful charming little convenience store with amazing food and soups. They even have cupcakes. In my opinion, the cupcakes are better than bubblecake.

The perfect small town shop! I went to the Dilly Dally as a kid and now that it has re-opened I get to take my kids there - we LOVE it! I love that the new owners kept so much of the original charm and it still has the little general store feel. We love the BBQ, ice cream (the raspberry sorbet is our family favorite), and hotdogs... but we especially love Neena’s Cupcakes that are sold there, they are the absolute BEST around!!! The Dilly Dally Cupcake and Chocolate are our favorites, but they are all so yummy!

At Dilly Dally my chili dog craving was satisfied...for this one trip into Salem. That chili dog with mustard and onions was sooo good; in fact, it’s the best ever!! Besides the delish hotdog I thoroughly appreciated the friendly young people working there. They smile with eyes that show they enjoy being where they are and doing what they’re doing. Nope, couldn’t see their faces smiling ‘cause everyone wore a mask making this octogenarian feel safe. My next trip to Dilly Dally was a hurry-in-hurry-out trip. I requested my chili dog all the way with mustard and onions again with an added layer - slaw!! Oh my! I can hardly wait to get back to Salem so I can get another hot dog with those four (4!) layers!!! Have you yet guessed I R E A L L Y like Dilly Dally?!!?
