I dont know what to expect from here, but this is one of my least favorite department stores.

Good sales not enough baby sleepers

Always has nice sales. Buy online pick up and return to store too. They even exchange online purchase to a smaller size by ordering the smaller size for the same sale price. Great customer service.

JCP is a good store. Their customer service reps are great! The store has everyday clothing to jewelry & gifts. The location is convenient. Go there & spend some family time shopping for excellent deals!

Love this JCP! They have everything except furniture, but staff can help you order anything from their online catalog. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They always help you save a lot with in store coupons and sales. My favorite place to shop in Salinas!

Its an awesome store. You can get some good styles of clothes. The renovation is great, but you have to know how to navigate it.

I thought the battery of on old watch was going dead. Even though I was only trying to fix a watch & not buy a new one, Jasmine in the watch / jewelry department was extremely helpful in letting me use the tools to open the watch to replace the battery. They had a battery for my watch, which I was about to purchase but they were smart enough to bust out a tool to test the quality of the existing battery which turns out, it was fine so I didnt need to buy a new one. The customer service I got from Jasmine was outstanding! The next time Im ready to buy a new watch, Im definitely coming here.

I went to the hair salon at JCPenney. Anna highlighted my hair and a trim. She did a fabulous job....my hair looks great!!

I have been going to JC Penneys Photo studio for years but now its permanently closed and they closed the mall entrance. You have to exit the mall and go go back in. You cant walk through to the mall like before. It used to be better before.

Newly rebuilt and slightly moved, the JC Pennys is quite the experience from the old one. They tried to update the store bit it can be hectic on Sundays. Slightly understaffed at the registers, and quite the maze to get around, it is still an interesting store to explore. Prices can range to reasonable to the extravagant.

Gotta love deals. Stack your coupons.

I was at customer service in Salinas California at the Mall. The cashier (Carmen) asked a customer standing behind my daughter myself, if she could help her, the lady proceeded to the registration ahead of us and was politely attended to. I asked Carmen (cashier) what about the line. She stated, I spoke with her on the phone. Does phonecalls mean priority or was it because I am African American?

Great building in the west side of the hall great design, the day I went to the grand opening there was this really rude cashier called katia she was extremely rude I dont know how she can work there, also JCPenney will soon have an entrance to the mall connecting to the other stores (watch the news!!!)

I havent been to JCPenny in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised with their remodeled/new store.

I shop at JCPenney often and will continue to. However, this store needs to either add more employees to their floor or close. I needed to buy a mattress topper for a shoulder condition I have which requires more give in my mattress. I could not find an employee anywhere on the entire floor who could answer any questions. Two women were helping a single lady in the jewelry department. I approached them and asked if someone could be sent to bedding. One of the two said theyd send someone. No one ever came. I spent nearly twenty more minutes attempting to get help and finally gave up and left. As I walked out of the store, the two women in jewelry were still helping that one, same person! Those two were literally the only employees I encountered in that entire time! Also, by then, two more people had arrived in bedding needing help. They were still there when I left. They had questions about comforters and I needed the mattress topper. Likely, more than a few hundred dollars in sales were lost because of lack of floor coverage.

Shopping Mall in Salinas, CA. It has great stores merged together which makes it an excellent choice to go shopping for mostly anything. Always kept as clean as possible and organized.

Large selections of items. They added large appliances to the sales floor. Their online shopping some day pickup is convenient.During busy times long register wait times and limited sales floor associates.

It offers great beauty products at sephora and has a great salon. The womens shoes look alittle cheap looking but they will do for a certain occasion but dont really last long because of the quality. The baby section has alot of good stuff for infants but not much of a selection for 2 year olds. JCP has a great selection of house hold items basically obverall is a great store.

My Mother and I like to shop at JCP regularly for over ten years now. Yesterday’s shopping experience turned when the alarm went off as I went through the alarm system. I stopped and walked back in, while my Mother went for her receipt. While everyone in line at the register looking to see who’s sounded the alarm. I felt humiliated by the way that they handled the situation. Her face was unfriendly and downright accusative and impolite. I won’t be happy if my Mother ever wants to shop there again. I will suggest to all to shop elsewhere.

1 star is too much for these people. 1 employee per department. Only 1 register is open per department and employees take forever. We spent 30 minutes as next in line, until we had to abandon what we were going to buy and leave. Because we were tired of waiting

New store has great clothes very clean

Jewelry section:the young workers need discipline. They avoid you. You have to go to them and ask for help. They are not there to show you the merchandise I might as well shop online.

They use to have a good selection of mens clothing at a decent price. Now it seems the other way. Prices higher than Macys and they do not have that level of customer service. I now purchase at their online store, you find better deals.

Great sale prices, and the staff there is just the best.
