I went mainly for my eyeglasses; the lenses I require are very specialized. The staff was very helpful; the clerk I spoke with had even taken notes when she called the lab to check on the whereabouts of my lenses. Very thorough work this lady had preformed. Although I am still waiting on my glasses to get finished, I am not concerned. If I have any questions, I am sure that the staff will be able to answer them in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

Poor management. Usually only 1 checker! Wait in line to be checked out 15-20 minutes. Long line! When you have $200.-300.worth of groceries, ridiculous to go to self check out, no room anyway on those things, takes forever. Elderly do not like going to self check out. Also taking jobs away! This is McPherson Kansas Walmart. And they are Always out of items, takes months to get restocked! Terrible store !!!

This is one of the nicest Wal-Marts we have been too. Very clean and organized! They staff was very helpful when I asked to find an item. He was happy to stop what he was doing to help! Not a wait to get checked out too!!

No open cashiers and 1/2 of the self checkouts only take care yet it’s a guessing game because nothing is posted on a note or sign explaining this and when you ask the worthless woman watching over the self checkouts she acts like it’s my problem. And don’t forget the lady standing at the front door deciding if a customer is stealing biased on the way they look so they can’t pay an employee to take my money but they can pay an employee to look at receipts they don’t even know how to read themselves!

No carts inside. Scattered all over the parking lot. Had some instant photos done. Nobody comes to the register. I go to the photo center in the back. Six feet from the register and the two guys walk right past me and leave. I go back to the other register and one guy is there. I have to ask for something to put my photos in. He hands me a plastic bag. Guess he didnt know what the envelopes were for. Need to get better help!

Not sure what to add. Its Walmart...so you never know what you might see. Great for kids clothes and the like. Get you your stuff and get out. Thats about all Ive got.

A stalker or maybe maintaince man was very helpful by unlocking the bicycle light case after pushing the button and waiting for service that never came. Had to track someone down but he was so helpful and nice. I appreciate that. I hate the busyness of Walmart but this visit has me wanting to go back sooner then later

If I could give the automotive department a ZERO I would!!! This was the worst service. I was charged for lifetime rotate and balance when I already had it. When I got home I notice it was stated that a tire had a nail in it. Nobody every bother to tell be about that. I feel that a call while they had my tire off would of been a great time to get it fixed. So back I went and then they tried to charge me for it! When I asked about the lifetime rotate and balance that I already had, I was made to feel it was my fault for not telling them that when I was wrote up. Needless to say that was refunded and I got the tire fixed for free. I am not sure that I will ever go back there!!!!

Since i go here regularly its always easy for me to get in and get out quick. Employees in the self service area were quick to help with any issues which helps with getting through the space faster.

Waited for over 45 minutes for someone to come to electronics. Asked several people for help and one said Im sorry Im new and nobody is around. I responded I see this can you please get someone. This guy said he would try to find someone but he also couldnt locate anyone. There is no reason why there isnt an employee working in electronics when there was at least four in the vicinity but none could help. I tried to call the store because I left without a purchase and nobody even answered the phone. I tried for over an hour. This is ridiculous. I decided to purchase my item online because its clear you can get it faster.

We went in the morning and there was an older lady. She caused my husband of stealing a large package of water there were 24 bottles all neatly wrapped in the sellers packaging in our cart. Of course it can not be put in a bag. But to come out and say you still this water it not on record. My husband showed her were it was. She did not even apologize.This is why we will travel to Manhattan to shop.

Its always hot in there! Spoke to an associate and she said its been like that for 3 years! They work in that heat?! Because the bosses said it was being fixed dude its been three years! Called corporate twice waiting on a call back! To atleast help the workers and customers such as myself! The Walmart managers should be ashamed to have let it go on for this long!!!

Had everything I needed another location was out of electronics item for my phone. Very friendly service.

With COVID-19 been staying out of stores as much as possible. Curbside pick up has been great.

Typical Walmart. Employees are indifferent. Hard to get anyone to help. By the time I got to check out I was regretting my decision to shop here. Two lanes open. They want everyone to self checkout. Stood in the extremely long line (over 20 minutes) because I had some big stuff at customer service. Casier was downright rude. The poor older lady in front of me kept apologizing. Apologizing for shopping in the store? Cashier just kept looking at the time and getting more cranky. Checked out and had a stock person helping me take my things to the car, still got stopped by the front door employee wanting me to prove I stood in the long line and paid almost $700 in their store. Learned my lesson. Wont be back until I completely forget about this experience and desperately need something like I did this trip. The small local stores are so much friendlier and actually appreciate my business.

Very busy with back to school. Not enough cashiers. The wait to check out was horrible. Otherwise, the store was clean and had a good selection.

Its a Walmart. But as they go this is a pretty good one with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Relatively well organized and fairly clean but the bathrooms can be not the cleanest...

Always clean and employees will go above and beyond to help you if you need help.

Aside from shelves being almost bare on a constant basis anytime I shop there, my experience yesterday at the Salina Walmart was that it wreaked with the odor of urine and flatulence (the entire store, not just parts of). It smelled like a hog farm...absolutely GROSS! It was awful and not real appetizing nor reassuring when shopping for food that I will feed my family. I had to hold my breath throughout most of my shopping time. If it smells like that again and they cannot keep their shelves stocked, I will walk out and shop at Dillons, permanently. Theyre a little more expensive, but at least theyre clean and well-stocked! Walmart has gone down the tubes, big time. What in the heck is going on, Walmart?! I have my suspicions, but wont air THAT here.

It was busy. I recommend dont shop on the weekends. Its busy an you cant get out fast. Either shop early or after six pm to avoid the wild an crazy people.

Although lines get a little long with the ount of unused lanes, I can usually get in and out in a decent amount of time. If i need help finding something, theres always a staff member near by.

Its a Walmart, what can I say. Prices get higher, selection gets smaller & quality gets lower. Ya cant find anyone to help ya if ya have a question. Always over crowded with rude people 😒. Long lines when you find someone who is actually working a register. Most of the time I gotta use self check out..This is why I shop online mostly or shop at local small businesses.

People whom use grocery pick up or delivery... if you get any deli meat or cheese please remember only the current date is going to show up on the sticker. This is even if it is a brand new chub and yes same goes for the chub actually does go out the next day. Only way it would change is if someone manually went and changed it. (On delivery scale).

Was price checking for a pair of glasses in the optical center and the staff was very helpful and answered all the questions I had.

Clean Walmart and fairly nice employees, however there is an issue with managers not knowing their own price match policy. Went to buy a kids ATV that was marked down to $9 online as well as at another store and was in stock, but they would not honor it because it was “not in stock” at the store we were at even though it was sitting in our cart and because it was something we had to buy in store and not online as a purchase, but we were in the store trying to purchase it? Anyways, manager said they would not honor the price match and that it was up to her own opinion to do so even though you could verify the price online and in store on the website, and we left without the ATV. Do not recommend for any price matching if you have to have a supervisor do it.*our original cashier was very helpful and nice, so if you see this know you were not the problem!*

The woman that helped us as we checked out was amazing. She made everything that worked against us in the store forgettable. For instance why put feminine products under lock and key if theres not Always someone standing by to help you? Or how about price point people? I mean you might know much everything is but I sure dont.. Or how about this please get on your vendors about keeping there product full, I mean its summertime so can we say power/ gaterades please!!! Anyways the self check out crew member was great. No judgement for paying with change or half debit or well, No or... She was amazing and friendly and professional and deserves a raise cuz Im hard to plz but she conquered it!! Wish Id of caught her name though.. But shout out to her regardless!! Woot Woot thanks chick you rock!.!.!

For the past 2 years the quality of there products have gone dow and the prices have doubled. They no longer carry my size 5 shoe and who ever is doing there purchasing has no clue as to what style is. This years pants are gauchos? I think not. The choices of 4-5 now it one kind only take it or leave it. Ill be shopping closer to home from now on. Instead of the hour drive to do a one stop shop thats not worth it anymore.

I worked there for 16 years and it was changing much the last 2 or 3 years to worse and so I was old enough and retired. I loved cutting fabric and was Good at it and people wanted me to come back but I Wouldnt. They let the ones go that had experience and customers didnt like it at all.

Afternoon staff slow and lazy.. stood for almost an hour waiting for help. Would have been quicker to go to McPherson or Concordia.

Air conditioning is not working. Its been several weeks and still not fixed. Corporate office doesnt care.

Im usually able to find what I need, and the staff are very helpful. I give it a 4 stars because they would rather have fewer people working at the registers and make people do self checkout. Its their store, but I like the personal experience.

Like many retailers, Wal-Mart would rather have the customer check themselves out at scan and go centers instead of hiring more cashiers. Better profit margin for them.

Place. Needed a couple things. Fast in and out. Easy to find what was needed.

Clean store and most all the employees were friendly. We had to return an item we ended up not using and because of the recent theft issues, I guess, we had the security guards really watching us standing in the customer service line. Was somewhat uncomfortable but understandable.

This is a nice store. Its clean and well-kept up with nice wide aisles and good lighting. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I use curbside pickup pretty much whenever I go there and the employees are always awesome and there are plenty of spots for the pickup only

I love that they will have most things that you need or want, but not everything. *I’m not going into specifics* They keep it clean, enforce masks, and keep the shelves stocked with what they currently have, but service can be rough when it is busy. Other times it can be great.

Too many people. Too big of lines at checkout. Not enough help on the floor. Hard to navigate the parking lot in an efficient amount of time. Store too big a person ends up being there longer than they ought be in a store.

I use to like shopping at Walmart but since covid the employees are mostly grumpy lacking knowledge unwilling to help. When the employees are unhappy than the customers become unhappy which makes for a hostile shopping experience. I try to avoid Walmart at all cost unless its absolutely necessary for me to go I will shop somewhere else.

Besides the weirdo stockers that never know where anything is it ok for Salina its out of the way if you live on North end

I dont live in Salina I drive a truck and stop to shop about every other week stocking my Semi with food and such. They treat my like family so nice so helpful. Beautiful town and amazing people.

Salina has more options that great bend and I got what I was actually looking for and didn’t have to order it online!

Never seem to have all of the items I want.Signs in grocery department only list half of the isleSo I have to guess what is on the other end then walk to the other end to only not be able to find the items.Store seems to always moving many sections around.Just when you think that you understand the design, it changes.Never enough cashiers to check out. And the self checkout gets crowded with customers backed up into the merchandise sections.Only go there as last choice.
