I bought a replacement garage door opener from OVERHEAD DOOR COMPANY after losing mine. They accidentally sent me the wrong one and when I called them they immediately sent me the correct one and didn’t charge me for shipping. I also had them come and fix my garage door when it wouldn’t open. Connor came and found a broken part and replaced it. He also checked all the screws to make sure they were tight and oiled some of the parts and adjusted the tension on the springs. He explained everything. Great service. Highly recommend.

Their technician replaced the circuit board in our garage door opener and did a great job. He also caught a loose wire on the adjacent door opener and fixed that as well. Courteous, friendly and professional. These folks are legit!

Overhead Door Company of Salinas provided a great product and experience. I badly needed new garage door, and due to the unusually wide garage I have, I had to custom order it from their factory for no additional cost. I got what I needed and was assisted by staff along the way. The installers were punctual and professional. The door looks great and should provide service for years to come. I appreciate not being upsold on a new opener. My existing opener has been discontinued, but is still functional (also an Overhead Door product). They tuned it up and it works great. Everyone I dealt with was polite and professional.

Arrived on time. Quickly assessed problem. Had the replacement parts with him. Installed the replacement part and then verified that the problem was resolved. Also checked the entire system out to make sure that it was operating correctly. Made sure that I received extended warranty coverage to make sure that I was not unfairly charged for service. Updated all remote openers and made sure batteries were current! Excellent service!!!

As a principle of a design firm I hire and work with various subcontractors and building professionals on a daily basis. Overhead Door Company stands out as one of the best. They are responsive, on budget, professional, knowledgeable, do quality work, stand behind their work all within their quoted time frame. I cant recommend them more than simply saying they are the best at what they do.

I don’t know anything about garage doors - but having mine done through Overhead Door Company was questionable at best. They came out to simply fix a cut line that happened while redoing our garage. Didn’t seem like anything major so they quickly fixed and ran the lines up along the insulation we had put I the roof. That cost me about $200. The problem there is my contractor said that was dangerous so we ripped it back out - and the garage again stopped working. So Backdoor came back out after we finished the garage to fix it again, but rather than just own the mistake they charged me an additional $125 just for the labor to put the lines up plus another $85 for a part that probably should have been replaced the first time. So for $500 I should have just got a new garage door opener. I gave them 2 stars as it’s working now at least and they were quick to come.

This was our first experience with Overhead Door and it was so far superior to the company we have used in the past. The minute I phoned to make an appointment I could tell it would be different; the person answering the phone was pleasant & efficient. Conner, who serviced our garage door was very professional and did a thorough job. We recommend Overhead Door.

I was pleasantly surprised when the service technician showed up early in the “window”, and was very professional looking and acting. We discussed the problem, and thought the problem was the sensors by the door opening. He quickly determined that there was a minor problem with one, which he fixed, but then with further investigation, found the problem with the opener button on the wall, which he also fixed quickly!He then lubricated the door and checked all the bolts and track alignment. Since I have two garage doors, he then lubed and checked the second door. I was surprised to see that he found (and replaced) some stripped and loose bolts on the second door that I am sure would have caused a problem in the future if he hadn’t found them!It is truly a surprise when one encounters a very competent and dedicated service provider, and I for one highly recommend his company, and will ALWAYS call them when I have any issues with my garage doors!

Also did a through safety inspection of all moving parts when he replaced both springs on my overhead door. He is a very polite employee and hard worker.

We had a garage door opener taken from one of our cars. I purchased new ones and just wanted overhead door company to program them and make sure that the old one did not work any longer. Wired pulley needed replacing with realigning and it works like a brand new door. Second time I needed a repair and it came out as expected. Only thing is I had to wait 2 days but Im not complaining thank you.

Had a broken spring but he also took time to tighten everything down as well as noticed some long term failure concerns and advised me of them so I can be prepared to Replace things in the future. I think that info is helpful since I’m on a budget and can not afford to do everything at once.I am caring for my elderly parents, and am very cautious through this Covid 19 experience. He was so professional, wore a mask and I did not have to feel like he was doing me a favor as with other service providers that have come to the house since the shut downs. Since we moved in our home more than 10 years ago, we’ve used ODC for any garage door problems we had. I asked the tech how long those springs last and he said 7 - 8 years depending on uses. After i discovered a broken cable on my garage door I called Overhead Door. The technician arrived the next day, on time, wearing a mask. He was clean, organized and polite. After diagnosing the problem, worn bearing, he not only replaced both bearings but fully serviced the door. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Yep, great service, I had used them a couple of years ago for a cable replacement and the same technician Conner I believe arrived promptly as scheduled, explained the spring problem and replacement price, how long it would take and also lubed everything again. It’s always good to see the same employee’s on the job Still. They also send you a text reminding you of Appt time window when they will arrive.

They had a tech. at my house within 2 hours, I needed the springs replaced on my door. Connor the tech. had all the parts with him. He replaced all springs and serviced the hardware. My garage door has never worked this well. Parts and labor were very reasonable.

Our garage door is older and has some issues. It needed work. We live in King City, and first of all, they were willing to come and help us. Technician showed up on time, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He suggested a repair which was inexpensive and got the door working well again. No big replace the door sales pitches, even though it is older and probably should be replaced. Definitely would have them come out again.

Made an appointment a week in advance to have one top section of the garage door replaced, I even sent them pictures. The guy shows up without any panel and then said to me oh we will have to order it, then in the same breath tells me we dont sell that one anymore and trys to sell me a $1,100 door and that they will have to come back. Very POOR Customer Service. Im going through someone else- Please Beware of them !!
