Really professional and explained everything. They explained the process from start to finish, gave me options along the way. Price was fair and totally worth it. They gave a in person estimate and met it, no surprises or hidden fees and no guessing.The other guys who quote you less over the phone without seeing what you have are gonna end up charging you more, trust me, been through that nightmare.

I am an active duty military member that has been waiting for my belongings to arrive at my new duty location for a couple of weeks now and so far I have just been left in the dark. I have called multiple times through out these weeks and and no one has picked up any of the phones. I was also not given any tracking information for my belongings. So far this company has been very unprofessional and not helpful at all. I would not recommend to use this company at all unless you like not knowing anything about where and what is happening to to your belongings.

I can not say how impressed I was with this moving company. They have now completed two full moves for my family, and both times we were very impressed with their service. The movers themselves were knowledgeable and professional, while also maintaining a positive attitude during a rather stressful time for us. The owner was very responsive and attentive to details. I would recommend this company for any move or packing needs.

One of the guys moving things into the new house stole $200 cash. Wouldn’t recommend unless you like getting stolen from.That same guy was giving off an eerie vibe, he didnt seem as professional as the others. Also they broke my computer desk.The cabinet is hanging off because they broke it and lost the screws, and my drawers wont go in correctly because they broke the side panel.

My husband and I were incredibly impressed with the moving team during our 2 moves!! Not only were they fast but we just had a great time with them! Theyre a great group of guys and deserve all the praise from us! Pete was a huge help and understanding through it all as well. These guys are amazing!!! You wont be dissapointed to choose them.

Pete and his crew are a fantastic respectable crew. In July 2019 we had a large crated military pack out (Monterey to Hawaii.) I had to handle it alone while my spouse was deployed so I wanted a trustworthy company with a good reputation. I’m local to the Monterey area and I’ve PCS’d out of Monterey before so I knew what companies to avoid. The first moving company was not acceptable to us. We requested an alternate company last minute and were assigned Poulos. Pete called me right away. He listened to my concerns and worked with my schedule. An employee came out to estimate how much stuff we had and how much packing material they’d need to bring. Pete called me after that. He noted the high amount of glassware and sent his best packer out the first day to pack my kitchen. Pro tip for moving, put all of your breakables in the room where the best packer will be (usually the kitchen.) The best packer only came the first day but consolidating my delicate items insured they were packed the best packer. Nothing delicate or valuable broke! The less experienced packers worked in bedrooms on clothing, books, toys, and in the garage. All of the crew were kind and respectful. One individual accidentally bumped my couch into a wall and dented the wall a little bit. He immediately came to me to apologize. The entire crew assured me someone would come to patch and match the paint. True to their word, the warehouse manager came out to get a paint sample that day. He patched one day and painted the slightly damaged corner the next. We got our full deposit from the owner when we moved out. Once in Hawaii I watched all of my furniture get unpacked and nothing was broken or damaged. First military move with zero claims in a LONG time. I wish Poulos could move us again! Mahalo!

I used Poulos to move locally. It was an extremely pleasant experience start to finish. The owner was very polite and transparent with cost. He also called a few days prior to the move to confirm; which sounds like it is common sense but doesnt always happen. Josh, David?, and Sergio were professional, friendly, and paid very close attention to detail. They were so careful with my belongings and made sure to wrap them accordingly. I am extremely satisfied with them and wouldnt hesitate to use them if I need to in the future.

Gave them 1 star for parking in front of a fire hydrant.. Not cool..This was the only reason why I called you that day, I wanted to ask you to move the vehicle..

We have moved multiple times during military life. Poulos Moving systems were by far one of the best moving companies we have worked with. They are excellent at explaining paperwork and every time I had questions for them I received a quick response. They were professional but caring with our belongings. I wish everyone in the transportation business put as much time and consideration towards their customers.

I feel bad for not writing a review sooner since Poulos Moving Systems helped me with a local move a few months ago, but better late than never.This was really my first time making a move, and I had Poulos MS recommended. I talked to the owner and he put me at ease about the whole processes and helped me find a time that worked great for my schedule.On moving day, the two gentleman that helped me move did a fantastic professional job, and even though I did most of my own packing already, they did all of my glassware for me (which, honestly, I was scared to do).Everything from start to finish was first class, and though I hope not to move again, if I do, there is only one place I would call.Thanks for making a stressful move so easy!

I highly recommend this company! Our crew for the packing day were Sergio and Rene. They took great care in packing all of our Moms items and were on time and got everything done within the quoted time frame. On moving day our crew was Sergio, Chris and Christian. I was extremely impressed with the care they showed not only for the items being moved but to us as well since it was a difficult time for us siblings to have to move our Mom. They were very well organized and extremely professional!! I received a follow up call from Peter to make sure everything went well and to wish us well. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for us!

Pete is the most stand-up, honest guy you can possibly get! He was so incredibly helpful and mindful with our concerns, I couldn’t have asked for better service. I feel extremely comfortable with hiring him and his team for future moves and recommend him to anyone interested in a stress free move. As someone who has moved many times with the military, I have experienced it all. I’ve dealt with distrustful movers who have wrecked my furniture without any consideration to what the items mean to me. Pete actually recognizes that our furniture is a reflection of us and treats it as such, being mindful to the personal value of an item. We had the best experience with Poulos Moving. With only a days notice, Pete was able to schedule the move, the guys showed up on time and we were thrilled with the service. Estimated $2,000 in damages due to poor packing and moving by this company. Have made multiple attempts to contact through email and phone, all have been ignored since December 2016. I even contacted a paralegal who has sent this company an email train that has been ignored. Would love to be contacted to have a discussion!Edit: I find it hilarious you even bothered to reply to this 2 years after the fact. Not sure what you mean by your multiple attempts explaining the military claims process. You didnt explain anything, you ignored all my phone calls and emails for over a year. Just goes to show how terrible your customer service is. No thanks to you, obviously, I was able to close my claim of all my damaged household goods due to your poor packing and moving.

Competent, hard working, friendly service, accomodating, good forethought and logistics skills ... all the attributes of a great moving company. Im using them again for my next move, heres why:I drove a DIY moving truck across the country, and on the morning Im moving my stuff into my new place, I threw out my back on a desk plant. Seriously, its tiny.But the really bad part was, I had to have the truck emptied and turned in by the next morning, and couldnt extend it. So, while laying in the middle of my new tiled living room floor, I called just about every moving company on the Monterey Peninsula and its surrounding areas ...Some were just straight up scams, wanting my social security number and a bunch of other private info, just to get a quote ... ummm, really? NEXT! Others wanted to charge me a minimum of FIVE hours with 2 movers, at $180 per hour+ gas, for a job that took little old me about 4 hours, at an extremely leisurely pace. Ay yayay!The ONLY company I found, who gave me an accurate quote right away over the phone, who gave me the choice of letting me pay for it in advance, or upon completion, and could give me a date which wasnt 3+ weeks out, was Poulos Moving Systems.They couldnt come over that day, but they could send a small team out first thing the next morning. Heck yeah!They cleared out my DIY moving truck for me, put each box in its proper room, asked me about where to place boxes that werent marked and, instead of just leaving when the truck was empty and there was another hour+ on their 2 hour minimum, they swept the back of the truck out for me, assembled/set up a few pieces of furniture, and asked me if there was anything else that I needed them to do. When I asked if there was any way they could drop the truck off for me, they said, Sure, no problem! I mean, I did have to sign a waiver, of course, but seriously?! What life savers.And thats who the movers at Poulos Moving Systems are to me, Total Life Savers. Im still on the mend, but all the boxes, larger furnishings, etc., all of that is where its supposed to be, and now, I dont gave to worry about it anymore. I can focus on healing, and my new life here, and these guys totally got that and, most importantly, they made it happen for me.Poulos Moving Systems is locally operated, totally professional, and even have great tips on the area for new residents ... did I mention they do long distance moves, and military moves? Theyre awesome.

The best around hands down

In my opinion, I never used this business but on Tuesday I witnessed one of there box trucks around 7:15 am on Tuesday 8-29 going north bound past Boronda first tailgating me in the slow lane then shot past me weaving in and out of traffic driving like a maniac.
