Found some makeup brushes was looking for and a caddy with makeup products in it for great price. Was happy for 1st time.

The ladies are so friendly and always ask if youre still doing while shopping. One of the best places to fine your ULTA awesome beautification accsesories! From make up to hair, from press on nails, polish and diy gel nail kits to polish-hairdryers and any curling/straightening iron for your need to even beaution hair station/salon in the back! The place always has everything and more than I need and want!

Jonathan was an absolute pleasure. They are lucky to have such a nice guy on staff. Give that man a raise, not that he complained, but because he deserves one

To me, Ulta is the same as a toy store is to a kid. The possibilities are endless. They have everything I need, want and then some. I love it here!!!

I returned some items that were past the return date and he happily helped me. Definitely go to this one!!

There is a guy with long beautiful brown/silver hair with glasses (that I wish I knew his name) at the cash register that made me feel so good about humanity. I was returning items and it was taking longer than buying items. There was a long line behind me and I was feeling really anxious because it was taking a little longer for the exchange. I told him sorry for the trouble. He looked me square in the eyes and said, “you are just as important as any of the people behind you and deserve just as much time and attention, you are causing no trouble”Like...please give this man a promotion.

MISREPRESENTATION!!!One of my friends shops at this Ulta Beauty in Salisbury. A salesperson, I think named Alex, she was very weird, told my friend about a skin care product that would supposedly make her look 1 to 2 years younger overnight. That’s rubbish, when you represent the nature of a product by claiming it will make you look 1 or 2 years younger overnight, people will question your ethics.

Only 1 cashier yesterday! Really? On a Saturday? The line was mega long. I was the opposite of happy about that. Otherwise, I LOVE ULTA!

First time in and had an odd but mostly negative experience. A crazy employee named Alex watched me squirt some hair serum in my hand then told me due to covid since I tried it I had to purchase it. She said only purchasing then trying was allowed. I looked at her like she was crazy then walked away. An email has been sent notifying corporate of the confusion of covid policies amongst associates. Most likely will not return to this location due to the odd experience that I had. I have to say never in my life have I had a retail associate tell me that since I touched a product I was now obligated to buy it.

They always have my orders ready. I pay for them online and just pickup. Its great when you get off of work to have it ready. They are always polite. They do ask for ID.. LAST TIME IT WAS MY CARD I USED TO PURCHASE ONLINE. They need to make up their mind which one they need for purchases as it confuses buyers

Been a customer here for about 5 years . Excellent service by every staff member. Went in to shop and got what I needed this past Saturday and was appalled by how I was spoken to by a cashier by the name of ALEX. HORRIBLE RUDE ARGUMENTATIVE. They seriously should fire her. She was THAT RUDE. The store manager was awesome and was straight up professional. Alex could take a tip or two from her.

They always have an informed employee there to help you make the best best decision for yourself.

I love this Ulta, it’s out of my way but the customer service is the best compared to other Ulta’s. The ladies working are always super friendly. The store is always organized and clean.

Tried to shop with a friend today in Ulta. I was looking for Bare minerals but an associate named Joy would only harp about Clinique. I use Clinique that I’ve purchased from the rep in the white lab coat. She’s always professional and will refer me to another line if they have a product better suited for my needs. I trust her because of that. This new associate Joy was pushy, aggressive and flat out refused to listen. Obviously she’s working on commission for Clinique!

Just walked out.....Bad customer service! Cashier did say hello and was friendly at check out but never asked me if I found everything I was needing. Also, I walked around the store twice browsing and not 1 employee offered to help me. The only time I was approached by an employee while looking around was because I was opening a box to look at the color of a foundation and customers cant do that because of COVID. I understand the concern but then she could of at least offered to help me find what I needed!!! The cashiers name is Heather and the rude employee was Sam.

Everyone was super helpful! I had a lot of questions and everyone I spoke with really took their time with me. The only thing I wasnt crazy about is they only had one person operating the cash register and I stood in line for about 12 minutes before I could check out, other than that this store was great!

I had the best service ever at ULTA !!!!!! I will never go anywhere else ALEX WAS SO PHENOMENAL ! I’ve been to different dermatologist I’ve been everywhere for my skin issues and Alex made my face routine a life changer ! Her customer service was on point, she explained all the products she heard all my concerns about my face, and gave me the best solution ! If you haven’t visited any ULTA THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE !!!!! The experience was the best

The store is always clean and the male cashier with the ponytail is amazing but the store manager is rude. I heard her yelling across the store at customers for using the testers. Absolutely unnecessary and there were other ways to handle it other than attempting to embarrass customers.

Very rude employees! My friend and I were there today around 2 and was rudely approached by an employee telling us not to touch things on the shelf and I asked “how are we supposed to purchase things if we can’t touch them?” And she gave back a smart comment and then as we left she mocked my friend. The girl at the register was rude as well, she wouldn’t let my friend purchase a product because she said it was a tester but there was no sticker on it and it wasn’t with the testers.

Very friendly. Helped us out a lot with finding the right colors and showed us how to properly apply make-up for my daughters dance competition. Much more helpful than the previous location we visited.

I was greeted enthusiastically upon entering the store. Made to feel welcomed immediately. As a man in a predominantly female store that was great. It wasn’t til I ask an older gentlemen working there for help with cologne that the feeling ended. Was told he couldn’t help me in a sneering tone like purchasing cologne for a man was wrong. A young lady offered to help but I left instead. Didn’t buy any after the encounter with him but instead went to a neighboring store for my purchase.

Ordered online for curbside pickup. After waiting 10 minutes, I ended up going in anyway.

Went in needing help with some makeup for my daughter and I on a Tuesday night. We walked around for a second and then was looking for help and there was two employees standing there talking, and putting on lotion talking about how dry there hands get so dry. One of the employees walks towards me and I say excuse me miss, she turns and walks back toward the other employee and starts talking again. So my daughter and I walk back towards front and look(as Im telling her we shouldve went somewhere else) around again at the makeup no one comes over so we walk back to other side of store. The same lady that I tried to talk to looks at me and says Do you have a question(Really!!!) I said yes I need help over here at the makeup please, and she looks like I just ruined her day and then a little elderly lady that was working the register was walking towards the front and she calls her back and says I need you to help them over there and the lady says well Im supposed to be on the register. Then looks at me and says let me go tell the other lady Im going to help you so I wont be up there! And the first lady just walks off and stands around talking to the other employee some more. The lady that politely came off the register was the sweetest and Im thankful for that, but when there was two employees standing around doing nothing but running their mouth and trying different lotions and acted like they were to good to help my daughter and I made me want to walk out right then and never go back! But that lady was so sweet I didnt want her to think it was because of her....But bet ya one thing I will never go back again! Hate to ruin the employees day by needing help, I thought thats what you get paid for. Apparently its to talking and try new product 🤷

Staff is not very knowledgeable of products!! Dont ask about anything, you may get very bad advise, or at the least, waste your hard earned money! Otherwise, clean store, and staff tries to help you as best they can.

I loved the experience and the make up rep named Kat helped me with everything. She made my first visit there simple and enjoyable. Would be 5 stars if the prices werent so high.

Just went today after school with my best friend. There is many new displays featuring new and smaller brands. Everything seems to be clearly priced and clean. Staff was very attentive asking us if we needed a foundation match or help finding anything. The cashier was also very friendly even though I totally counted wrong and handed him the wrong amount of money. Was very kind and very peppy making me laugh a lot. I was very pleased with my shopping experience.

Came in a few weeks ago to get some mascara. I was going to have to pass the area where you get your eyebrows waxed so I waited till the lady was done to pass her. The employee who was doing the waxing was a younger caucasian women. She turned to me, raised her voice and stated she was not taking any more clients today nor was she making appointments. The lady getting her eyebrows done even commented how rude that was. This is the second time this has happened with the same worker. I would hate to have been a customer who wanted to schedule an appointment. I will get my mascara next door at Belks from now on. Yes, I spoke with an employee the first time this happened.

When I first began coming to this location, it was a great experience. My relationship with my stylist Chanel has not changed, she is a caring and loving person who does her services in excellence. My issue its the fact that the company has upped the prices that are typically for African Americans (ex. twists, braids, coils) and made it ridiculous. Youre charged $50 every 30 minutes from the moment you arrive until service is complete, on top of the other prices of services youre receiving such as a shampoo, cut, or a hair treatment. I dont know what fool came up with those prices, but youll lose a lot of customers. Ill miss my stylist Chanel, but I will never pay those prices.

More ultras with way friendlier people. Wont return. Being new to the area, its the little things that will make it a reliable store. But with so many around, I can be choosy

Great place for beauty products as well as beauty services. Stylists and most staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about products and services as well as super friendly. The salon prices are higher than some other salons in the area but you get an expert cut and color with stylists who continually stay updated on latest styles, trends in color and other beauty treatments. You pay for what you get-an excellent beauty treatment.

Best Ulta around the staff are so nice and aren’t snotty. They are willing to help and teach you if you need it. Point system is great and they give a ton of freebies with your purchases.

4.5 stars. The store is clean and well stocked. There are a lot of expensive items, and quite a few not so expensive. Every time I am there other people are there. Love Ulta! I try to get all my bath products here when they are on sale. It can be a lot cheaper then going to Walmart and the selection is better. For Korean skincare products Ulta is superior to Sephora. Sephora does not carry as many Korean brands. I do not like their points program. Points expire to quickly and the rewards are not great. Also the coupon policy can be frustrating. So many brands are excluded. Usually I pull up a few coupons on my phone and have the cashier scan different ones until we find one that works.

Love this store and the staff is usually great but, today I went and there was an older lady working the cash register and clearly had no idea what was going on. I hate the give the store a bad review, but her attitude ruined my personal experience with the store.

Love the products! The associates that are around the makeup are not very friendly. Ive shopped in the middle of the day, with very few customers and they will be standing two feet from me and will not even acknowledge me. I have to ask them for help and they give the bare minimum customer service. I have an ULTA credit card and the cashiers are wonderful, so I will continue to shop there and hope it improves.

I love all Ulta stores and would have been happy to give this location five stars as it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, but I have gone there twice and have been dissatisfied with their selection. They never seem to be fully stocked and always have many holes in the shelves. Im not about to give a poor review because there are surely many factors that contribute to that issue, but I did remove one star.

I love makeup, but Sephora is better for getting samples of products. The workers are great and accommodating, but I feel like if Im going to spend a ridiculous amount of money on makeup I should at least be able to try a sample of something Im considering about buying in the future.

Excellent availability and makeup for my girlfriend. Ulta excels beyond Sephora in how the staff doesnt bug you while youre browsing and shopping every 30 seconds. Lots of autonomy and freedom to explore, while having high end products.

Heather was really helpul and so patient helping me find the shampoo and fashwash that would be best for me. She gave me recommendations on which shampoos and fashwashes to try .

As a younger male I know nothing about make up. My family has 2 birthdays in the month of June in which both of these love makeup. I asked 2 members of the staff at Ultra could they assist me in picking something out as I gave the ages of the 2 women Im buying gifts for. They told me they could not help me. I then asked could they at least point me to someone who can or in the right direction to where I could begin my search. They said sorry they still can not help me. Though both staff members were extremely polite and professional, I feel they are providing a true disservice to uneducated customers such as myself. Customers that are seeking help, and receive nothing. If there was a star lower than 1, I would have selected it.

The location was the same as others.. beautifully set up ... However the customer service wasnt what I thought itd be. There were two people that I interacted with that were normal Ulta beauty personnel. Im content there... However... I noticed/felt that since my face wasnt in full makeup status that I wasnt as viewed as loyal/or interested in their products. The conversations with me were short... Sort of sassy and a bit nose in the air-ish.. that part was something that I literally didnt expect coming from and ulta. The other locations that I attended in the past were very much more attentive/punctual/and at least seemed interested in my questions/concerns... Im hoping that my next visit will be a bit more appreciated whether Im clearance shopping or waving cash in the air..

I am not happy with my visit today. I bought a $70 hot tools digital hair straightener back in December which stopped working today. I am an Ulta member as well and spend hundreds of dollars there a year. However I may just start going to Sephora even though it is an hour away. They should be able to see through the Ulta rewards that I had purchased it only 6 months ago. The cashier tried telling me you can only go back 60 days and see purchases through the rewards. However when she told me this she made it seem like she wasnt positive. I think it was a matter of her not wanting to do extra work. You can not tell me the info just disappears. Thats not how computer systems work. There is a one year manufacturers on it. I should have simply been able to go in the store and have it switched out. I didnt want any money back. I just wanted a new one because it shouldnt stop after 6 months. I probably wont go back because of this. And no deal of makeup could have helped this lady that worked there. The gym would though.

People are so helpful here! I wasnt ure why to get my wife for her birthday, but I talked to one of their associates, Kat, and she was able to help me choose out some stuff for her. I also got my wife a gift card.. Incase I bought the wrong stuff.But! She loved everything I brought home and have been using it for past few days. Thank you ulta! And thank you Kat!

I visit this Ulta at least once a week when I am in Salisbury on Sundays. Every time I’ve gone, I have experienced rude, snobby employees and a negative atmosphere. They will stand around talking to each other, not even acknowledging customers. One time I asked an employee for help, and she rolled her eyes because I “interrupted” her conversation. Every other time I have asked for help they seem aggravated and rushed to help me. Only once have I gone in and had an employee approach me, and have an actual conversation with me. I wish I had her name because everyone else that works there is incredibly rude. I don’t even want to go in sometimes because of how awful their attitudes are, but it is the closest Ulta by far to me. I guess I’ll start ordering my makeup online from now on..

It’s seriously hit or miss with this Ulta. The first time I went absolutely no one helped or asked if I needed help and the cashier never said a word to me. The second time I went, I had 4 ladies ask if I needed help and the cashier was very friendly. Some of the foundations didn’t have samples, so you kinda had to guess your color. Also, some of the displays needed to be cleaned! It was kinda nasty.I was also disappointed that I spent over $100 and the cashier said because I spent what I did I get a free sample - turned out to be a lip conditioner that was literally Barbie size! I got two uses out of it. I don’t consider that a sample...
