After being told they had the parts we needed we drove 45 min. to get the part only to be greeted by 2 of the worst customer service individuals I have ever met. They told me immediately they didn’t have my part without looking up the model or part number. Then was give a price (plus shipping) for the part they claimed to have earlier. I found the part myself about 200 percent cheaper online. The rude customer service was enough for me. I will GLADLY go elsewhere. Steer clear and get it cheaper. Their associates at the front could use some customer service training.

Called today for a dryer element, the guy on the phone was super nice and helpful. Also they had the part I needed and that made me so happy after calling 6 other places and no one had it. Ill use this place again for my appliance needs.

Went in for a replacement water pump, before I could tell them what I needed he pulled one out from behind the counter and gave good tips to putting it back in my washing machine without harming the part or motor.

Thanks for your help today. I was able to purchase the thermal fuse I needed for my dryer.with the covid stuff going on call ahead. The lobby is closed.(Three weeks later) I am still having trouble with my dryer. I called thinking I needed to buy a $60 heating element. They guy I talked to asked me about the problem and told me to try a couple of things before I spent the money. Thank you for your honesty and help.

I was looking for the dog ears for my 15 year old washer because the agitator was not rotating anymore. Yay, they had the part. I really like going here for appliance parts. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They have a fairly good selection of items, except for a few brands, like LG. I think the only slight con of this place is its location. Its great if you go during the day, but if you go during morning or evening rush hour, its a huge pain. Nonetheless, I really like this place.

Tons of help. They didnt treat me like I was inferior for my lack of knowledge. Gave me the information I needed, were very quick in getting me in and out and were happy doing it. Very happy with their service and the parts they had.

I was looking for a drain pump for my Dishwasher, and search on their website and got zero results. But when I called them the gentlemen who answer the phone was able to find the item. Price was about $5 more than what I could find online. But I would rather get it locally and compare the parts, since it was only a small price difference.Again the most important aspect is that the staff doesnt seems to be just sales people. They actually know about appliance repairs.

I just purchased a water pump for my Whirlpool washing machine. I spent $180. When I got back to my office (which is close) I did a quick search and learned I can replace my entire machine for about $400. I called them to ask if I can return the part (15 minutes after purchasing it) THE ANSWER WAS NO! Store policy is no returns on electrical parts apparently even if its only been 15 minutes! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will recommend!! Michael provided an overall amazing customer service experience. I first called to check the availability of the part and spoke to Michael on the phone. He helped me find my model part and let me know the part was in stock. Upon arrive at their store, I was greeted promptly by Michael, again. He quickly got me the part and compared to the old one. He noticed that the connector was slightly different on the new model and didnt hesitate calling the manufacture for a fix. He even asked a regular customer, assumingly a repair man, his opinion. While the manufacture was little help, Michael provided me with his own solution and let me know other potential issues. Plus, I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes. I needed the ignitor for the oven of a 20 year old gas range. They had it, at a reasonable price, and even installation tips. The oven was back in service that day. Couldnt ask for better.

I bought a part here yesterday for my water heater. After fighting with it for hours I figured out that this kit they sold me was missing a part. It came with everything but this one little piece. I called the shop and the guy on the phone simply said I dont know what to tell you thats how it is. Never did this guy say we have that piece or Im sorry about that. Customer service alone I would rather pay double then to have to deal with rude people. I feel as though I was taken advantage of for sure. Yesterday I spent $80 on a part. Today I am having to buy a new water heater

Gave me a 10 amp thermal limit fuse to replace the 25 amp thermal limit fuse on my Samsung dryer. Of course it blew out almost immediately. This in spite of bringing a picture of the part with part number and offering up my dryer model number. Apparently the man whos been there 20 years is too cocky to bother.

I needed a part for my stove and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly in helping me find it. Store front was also very clean, well organized and stocked with many useful products. I would recommend to friends and family.

Had something go wrong with our dryer and the front sales associate suggested a part that was usually the culprit for our problem. He was totally right, he even told us exactly how to find it on the dryer and change it out. Very helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable staff and I would totally recommend them to anyone.More recently we had a problem with our glass top stove and again, different associate, diagnosed the problem and got us the part we needed, how to install it properly and it was fixed. Great appliance store.

I bought a washing machine lid switch from them. Turned out I didnt need it because the old switch had just become unplugged in the move to my house. They WILL NOT TAKE RETURNS, yes it dose say that on the recept but the bag had not even been opened. Sears Parts Direct only wanted $15 for the part these guys were $40. So I am out $40 for a part I dont need. I have went to this company for years but never again!Edit:  In reply to owner response; To be clear their policy is explained on trying to return an item not when buying it. My take on what I was told was that I could have bought it from them to get it quick in town and then bought it for a reasonable price online and then return to them the online bought product. So me being called a  scammer! I fully understood I was paying an extreme premium price to get it quickly by buying it in town. I also get not talking a return on an OPENED electrical item because it may have been damaged being installed in a faulty circuit or manner (though highly unlikely with a simple switch). But basically being called a scammer I take as a personal assault on my character and refuse to deal with any company or person that questions my character in such a manner! Ending their response to my review with, I hope you have a better day, I find extremely condescending when they are choosing $30 in profit on a $40 item over treating a for many years customer right.

Appliance Parts Company Salt Lake City location was tremendous in helping with my appliance nightmare. Everyone I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable. They even stayed open after hours when I was on my way to pick up a part and was delayed by traffic. They were the only bright spot in my repair difficulties with my washer. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

They sold me a Whirlpool dryer timer that does not work. When installed, the timer stays in place and provides no other functionality. They will not return or exchange this part.Buyer beware, if you take the chance and purchase from them and the part does not work, they will not take it back or do anything else to help you.

I was charged full retail for the parts I bought. I needed them and couldnt wait.. If I could have waited a few days I could have saved 50% on the parts by ordering them online. If you are in dire need of the parts and cost is not an issue go here, but if you can wait, order it online and save a lot of money.
